This young lady is impressive to say the least. Might I suggest who watch Robert Plant reacting to this drum cover, he summed it up by saying "Bonzo would be proud".
I seem to recall that not only did her parents NOT force her to play the drums, SHE got THEM into Led Zeppelin. Wait 'til you check out her Rosanna and YYZ!
1) Please say her name Yoyoka next time dude. 2) Thank you for reacting to this video! 3) She does a tutorial about getting those triplets on the kick pedal. Yoyoka does a Paramore cover - Decode - and you can tell there's something in the song that resonates with her; she just lets loose/plays with reckless abandon. I'd request a reaction vid on PayPal, but the reaction request fee is a bit steep, at the moment. Maybe later.

WE LOVE YOYOKA!!! now one of worlds 100 best ever drummers!.
Thanks Andy!! DEEP PURPLE Burn, she OWNS it !!!!!! 😅
You got that right!
Yoyoka, Junna and Akane Hirose of Band Maid are my favorite drummers 😘😘😘
Paulina from Mexico, Akane, and Sina from Germany are my top 3, by far, in that order
Yoyoka is amazing 🇧🇴💯🤘🏼
Indeed!
Definitely need to check out the Deep Purple cover!
I don’t know why I’m smiling, and why my eyes are full of tears?
This young lady is impressive to say the least. Might I suggest who watch Robert Plant reacting to this drum cover, he summed it up by saying "Bonzo would be proud".
What a wonderful girl !
I was looking for this video. The first time you encountered Yoyoka. You now know her pretty well.
I've been watching her since she was a youngster lol.
I noticed she uses the slide and swivel technique on the kick. There are adults who cannot do both cleanly. She is so damn impressive.
I seem to recall that not only did her parents NOT force her to play the drums, SHE got THEM into Led Zeppelin. Wait 'til you check out her Rosanna and YYZ!
I start my day with watching her drumming.
Robert Plant praised her. No one else needs to now.
Well said sir.
I only see one thing for her to improve on, yay two. Less wild arm energy spent, and Play More Videos you are going to be Rich and Famous.
Exactly!!
Robert Plant’s reaction was sooooo charming! 😊
1) Please say her name Yoyoka next time dude.
2) Thank you for reacting to this video!
3) She does a tutorial about getting those triplets on the kick pedal. Pretty cool seeing a little kid explaing a technique she has mastered
4) she just put up a blistering cover of Burn by Deep Purple and Ian Paice reacted saying she was already a frightening drummer. He is most def one of the most under rated drummer since Ringo Starr. When I saw here cover it messed up the language center of my brain for about an hour.
&
5) She just turned 11 in October
Did I say her name wrong?!?
@@AndrewRooneyDrums you must have edited it out completely sir. I will relisten carefully. Yeah you just made an honest mistake. No mention of Yoyoka. But really insightful reaction.
I'm just a non-drummer metal head civilian, so I really like seeing what actual drummers and drum teachers have to say about Yoyoka. I need them to confirm my bias! LOL She's amazing. As for a quick and solid Yoyoka playlist, here you go:
at 8 yrs old: Onyx (with a live band) th-cam.com/video/MkhGgqXywU8/w-d-xo.html
at 9: Smells Like Teen Spirit th-cam.com/video/4_mrIy3_JgM/w-d-xo.html
also at 9: Steam th-cam.com/video/OZJhhY5h9Hc/w-d-xo.html
at 10: YYZ th-cam.com/video/lGETWi1QufE/w-d-xo.html
11: Burn th-cam.com/video/uhzX9QbH3js/w-d-xo.html
Credit also to the ~11 mics and spot on mixing she and her dad use to get that great sound production.
Yoyoka does a Paramore cover - Decode - and you can tell there's something in the song that resonates with her; she just lets loose/plays with reckless abandon. I'd request a reaction vid on PayPal, but the reaction request fee is a bit steep, at the moment. Maybe later.
I remember as a young man taking my first lesson and yes there was a a couple girls in my class. And yes the one was way ahead of where i was at it was my first lesson..it was definitely a somewhat kick in the junk! But still continued on and it all worked out..but i for sure suprised there were girls in the class i dont know why i was soo suprised prolly because its not often you see women drummers back in the 80's
Have a look at her cover of Burn.
I just watched a video of her playing jazz fusion at 14 yrs old ... jaw dropping !!
the joy on her face says it all
You need to see her YYZ or Dazed and Confused covers, she's 11 now, and you'll see/hear the difference
Ok , I Quit !😲
good on her , a star now and a bigger star in the future . 👍🏻❤❤
Yeah she's great!
You should watch her play Rush... She will blow you away
Watching a professional drum teacher being rendered speechless during segments of this video is simply marvelous to see.
Fantastic Michael!
We're all learning. And it would be disappointing if we were too jaded to be impressed!
Well, Robert Plant watched the same video. He gave his approval to his point said; “I know where she can get a good gig.” So, there you go. My brother was a drummer who used to sit in with Tower of Power, I think he would have loved to watch her play.
Wow. Your Brother must have been some kind of player!
@@AndrewRooneyDrums He could not read music, but he was bad.everyone knew him. The last time Shugafoot from the Ohio Players came to town (a club in Santa Clara, Ca.), he picked him out of the crown and let him on stage. Free everything the rest of the night!
That little lady hits like Bonzo's living inside her! Incredible how much she's _"in it"._ You can see how naturally it's happening if you watch her body as well as her limbs: she's 'all in'.
Y E S ‼ 👍
I totally agree with you Andrew. Why are there not more female drummers than there are around❓
I love that little girl.... she's just fantastic!
Awsome I've been watching her since she was just a young little drummer. Ian Paice said she has to be at least 35 the way she's playing now . Wow at this rate she could be drumming like a 70 year old in 3 more years. 🤔🤯😜😛😃😂🤣🤘😉
This human will never cease to amaze me. A drummer from the past might have reincarnated in this kid lol
HAHA Yes!
Have you heard of Sarah Thawer. I think she is mid 20s now but started playing at 2 years old. Her father is a musician too and she was playing in his band at 5 years. An Indian background so she learned all those multi rhythms and time signatures when very young which adds a different level to her playing. She has TH-cam.
