5:35 OK, but I don't think "miserable" is the right word to use here. :)

    Hello
Is it possible to reconstruct a battery of a laptop with better quality 18650 Cells than that are used by the OEM Manufacturers. eg i have a MSI ge62 6qf with rubbed off LG cells so i cant tell what MAH they are but the battery is designed for 4700-4900mAh. Since i cant buy an OEM battery in my country and it is like impossible to import as a battery will cost 3 times of the said item to import it. So here comes my idea since i have a spot welder in my university and i can buy good quality Panasonic NCR18650B 3400 mAh, can i replace them in the laptop battery
What will be the issues and problems related to the battery Construction except being extra careful in spot welding.

Hi. It depends on the controller used. In some cases laptop battery's controller detects the replacement and blocks itself when you disconnect the old pack and the voltage becomes 0.

@@ThunderheartReviews I guess one way around that is to keep the original batteries in place and copy the battery arrangement and wiring separately for the new batteries, then connect in parallel the new batteries to the positive and negative wires coming from the PCB board, then, disconnect the old batteries. This way the board is always powered up and it won't notice anything.

Hi. If i have a Panasonic 18650b 4s2p wired in serie... how is the c rating on this?

the C rating is the battery C rating X the number of cell in parallel but only if the pack has active battery management to be safe

Both of these are good batteries and are pretty close in performance. If you need high power for a drone though, you may want to look at batteries like the VTC6, 30q, hg2, or similar.
