  • INFP or INFJ | Who Is the Better Listener?
Both INFPs and INFJs belong to the "idealist" temperament, and they are known for their empathetic and excellent listening skills.
However, they may approach listening differently because of their personality types.
INFPs are very empathetic and non-judgmental listeners. They are often profoundly considerate of the emotions and feelings of others, so they listen not only to the content but also to the underlying feelings and intentions of the speaker.

So TLDR, INFPs are more focused to comfort, validation and understanding because they're trying to help the person express it all out and guide the feelings. While INFJs are more focused onto understanding the feelings and basically like trying to be literally in the persons shoe to give more than just listening and comforting. INFPs and INFJs are both good listeners basically, just that both have different priorities on the situation.

It really depends on what you want the listener to provide you. INFP will honor your feelings above all and seek to help you regulate and feel ok. They want to walk through the memories alongside you. INFJ will help you make sense of what happened and help you put your emotions into a context of growth, and that includes verifying whatever accountability you have in a situation. If all you want is someone to hear you without making any kind of commentary on your situation, tell your cat or dog. They're super good at uncomplicated ways of hearing you out. 😊

      Thanks for watching.
Please, elaborate more on what you meant by the random beeping. At what point?

I'm assuming you're an INFJ? Why did you feel the need to inaccurately summarize this video and put down INFPs?

@@alfabethev2.074 I'm just curious about the thought process. It seemed like a strange and delusional way to interpret the information in the video. It piqued my interest.
But if malice is the goal, I can understand that, even if I personally dislike it. I hope you have a wonderful day!

😂 self absorbed and shallow? whereas infps take their time to understand other people's emotions?
