Now that I'm an INFJ in my 60's, I'm finally starting to understand why some people seem to hate us so much & so many misinterpret us. Thx.

    Yes. Intuitive decision making!
I trust my intuition very much, more than I trust anyone else. And my intuition was never wrong, can go as far as accurately predicting disasters, and even the death of love ones.
And I hate it whenever someone told me not to trust my own intuition, as if they know better.

I always see the big picture and am amazingly accurate on outcomes. Never knew where this came from till I discovered that I am an infj. I love problem solving and see solutions almost immediately BUT I do find that I can become annoyed when working with others who appear clueless and drag their feet when I want to get on asap. We have many qualities, which I objectively recognise, but the truth is that as a pensioner infj in my 70s, I am exhausted through a lifetime of helping others. I love helping and do it instinctively but it is utterly draining. Also, if I am being brutally honest, I have to wonder if this is ever returned when I need help. I never impose but, presently suffering grief, where is the support? Then again, I am used to coping alone.

People are the protagonists of their own lives, it's not on purpose, but we have to accept that only God and us ourselves can give us the love we need

    Wow!
Bought house ~1.5 to 2 hours away from then current job. After several years was "forced" to relocate job location within 3 miles of my home. Likely to be my last job until retirement (or move to consulting). Daughter asked me how these things always work for me even when they seem illogical on surface. It was a significantly costly change for coworkers who I wish we could have kept.
Embrace uncertainty...had to choose between a stable career (if there is such a thing) and oilfield market driven product development during which you expect shifting priorities and regular lay-offs. Did the logical two column test with those being closely balanced...slept on it and chose the one most fun/had a passion for.
Innovative problem solving. 19 patents in market driven oilfield product development and many more ideas expanding roles for myself and others.
----Oh my! That was only the number 1 topic! We apparently just moved to #2...Can no longer handle this level of self-reflection in a public space!!!

That's me for sure. I did not know that other personality types don't do these things. It explains why I have encountered so many people who seem unaware and unashamed of their mean behavior. When I was a young woman and spoke sharply to my mother-in-law, even though she provoked me into speaking to her that way, I always felt like I was burning in Hell until I apologized to her. I learned that it was better to keep my mouth shut than to have to say I was sorry. It seems like I haven't met anyone else who feels as badly as I do when they are in the wrong.

All intuitive types use intuitive decision making, not just INFJs. It's like saying only INTPs use logic to make decisions. I'm a "Feeler", but I used logic to determine if this video makes sense.

I only just started this video but I feel like the gut instinct just goes with my job as well. I’m supposed to be counting things and I feel like I do better when I don’t count them I just eyeball and let my instinct take over.

Now I’m unsure. I test out as INFJ but I also have anxiety disorders which is basically an allergy to uncertainty. Some things I’m ok w uncertainty but most things I’m pretty unnerved by it🤷‍♀️

😮 yeah look, you are kinda explaining infj personality using concrete and logical thinking..INFJs Don't do steps. In fact, it is completely synthesis and trying to deduce the 'steps' backwards to work out just how we came to conclude the thought. It is completely future focussed and waiting for others to catch up. Whereas sensory are concrete thinkers who try to fit thoughts into prior experience.. future/past.. get it? Nah.😅😅

Baa !

Nasty way to express your reservations, but you do have a good point. I find it helpful to listen to Myers Briggs videos, but I am aware that some of them are meant to program the types to feel and react in predictable ways. I avoid those videos.
