I work from home and make my living from fixing cars and this tool has been so good in that respect I don't do heavy diagnostics but it has really been good with the small stuff

I recently bought the newer, black model, and it works great. It came with a TPS relearn tool, which I haven't used yet. People kinda new to using these. Need to remember to make sure the cigarette lighter is working. As most OBDII ports share this circuit for power.

Great Review thanks. I bought this last week for my Opel (GM) Zafira 1.7cdti (2013) and its great value. It does give a lot of data and helped me with EGR/DPF issues and did a Regen which got me going. However, it would not do an oil reset and i could not get Short and Long term Fuel trims in OBD2 data, which as a DIYer is annoying. So, is there anywhere i can contact Launch to update the software? (tool is Fully updated to date). Thanks for great Video..

Question is; Why can't this scanner read Air Conditioning Low Side Pressures, it can read high side but not lowside.

The scanner can only read what the car's computer sends out. You may need a scanner with Hyundai specific software to read that sensor.

As long as the truck's TCM is outputting that info, the scanner should read it.

Does it work on a jeep renegade? I checked in on Amazon where a list of supporter cars are provided, and it did not include Jeep!?
I'm unsure about jeep since I don't have one currently.
Does it show the live transmission temperature?
If the vehicle ECU reports it then it will read it.
Just order one should get it in a week got 2023 version Just wounding how it was without wifi can you Auto detect iv in the country it seems like it will give me a holler back
Wifi is only used to download updates and lookup codes. It will scan and autodetect without wifi.

I’m needing to find out if my 2011 Malibu’s power steering motor is bad or if it’s the torque sensor acting up. Sometimes I lose power steering. I’d need to calibrate a new torque sensor after replacing it. Can this scanner do that or have the option to upgrade to do so?
I'm not sure of what works with each car, but you can go to Launch's website and find out what it can do for each year and model.

Looking to get this for trouble shooting what i messed up or if it was a bad part. Just changed all wheel bearing hubs and now my abs lites are on with no dtc. Can i monitor all 4 to find the problem child?

I haven't had any trouble getting misfire data. One thing I've found is that every vehicle reports differently.
Go into the parameters you will find it there
I want to reset the fuel additive sensor on my 2009 Volvo V70 1.6D with 109 horsepower, which is showing the P1932 error code. Despite filling up and replacing the additive tank, the car still indicates a low level of the DPF additive used for exhaust cleaning. I'm considering purchasing the LAUNCH CRP919X and would like to know if it has the capability to reset the fuel additive sensor in my car, since it's incorrectly showing a low level despite being filled. Can the LAUNCH CRP919X perform this sensor reset for my specific vehicle model?
You will have to look at their website to be sure. Since I don't own any Volvo's I can't give any good info on it's capabilities regarding them.
Seems to be a fancy over priced basic scanner....After reading through manual it says it expires in 2 years when you have to rebuy the software on tool.
No, it's FAR from a basic scanner. I have a total of 17 scanners ranging from $25 cheapies to a $3K Autel MaxiSys. A basic scanner cannot do any bi-directional control - this can.
The software doesn't "expire" - The ability to get updates will expire but the scanner will continue to work fine, just no more updates for newer cars. Same with my high end scanners too.

Do you know if this scan tool show the problem modules if it will not communicate due to a bad ecm/pcm or poor connection with one of the connectors via sensor or within that? I have a no start no crank but will crank bypassing the starter relay with no fuel pump. Died one day while idling and battery, ignition switch also neutral safety switch are all good. Just trying to find out if this tool can isolate the pcm because my generic simple scan tool no longer communicates with the pcm and not that advanced. I do have a full lit dash when key turned. I will try and test the components within the 3 sensors but wanted to see if this would send a report if the tool does not communicate but shows the pcm is the issue. Thank you in advance!
Usually any scanner will tell you that it cannot communicate with the PCM in that situation.
Takes forever to boot up.
I have a few scanners that boot slow.
