- The Origin is an awesome new midrange disc in Discmania's Evolution line.

Overall, the Origin is a very versatile disc which you can rely on for a variety of different shots. While the Origin excels most at hyzer flips, turnovers, and dead straight shots, it has the ideal glide and stability for slow moving hyzers, tailwind shots, and various other technical lines you might need in the woods. In my opinion, the Origin is an immediate competitor to the top stable to slightly understable midranges out there.

often when people make these kinds of videos it can be difficult to see the flight of the discs they threw. kudos to you for making sure that you had a backdrop and disc color that remained visible throughout as well as a basket to show intent, and distance marked. also good job showing similar discs and discussing how they fly for different shot shapes.
i subscribed because it's hard to find reviews where people don't make compromises. too often you hear something like, "now, bear in mind that there was a powerful headwind while testing these. and it was rainy so my grip wasn't good. and sorry the camera was incredibly shaky the whole time."

Perfect video! I was just trying to figure out my bag, and wanted to see how the fuse compares to my origin. Great footage showing the comparison between these discs. I'll be keeping the origin in the bag.
Thank you! Glad you’re keeping the Origin in there. It does slightly different things for me than the Fuse does. Both great discs in my opinion, though - especially in the woods!

I bag both the mako3 in star plastic and the origin in neo plastic, both can be utilized for dead straight shots when thrown on hyzer. I find the mako3 flips up to flat and rides dead straight, the origin flips up to flat and tends to drift more right when more power is added. The mako3 can take a bit more power because it doesn’t turn as much. If I need it to turn more I go with the origin.
Random question: what kind of/type of dye job is that? I’m looking for more basic colour combo type dyes and I like this one. Most information relates to wild, kaleidoscopic dye jobs!
Would u say the origin is closer to a Buzzz SS or a Buzzz?
