    I love watching these videos just to see the discs being thrown and they seem comfortable on camera

    I love the Mako3. Probably more so than most because I always have a beat in Roc3 that flies straight for distance and a newer one(although MD3 is giving it a run right now) for a more overstable path. So my Mako is usually used for 250-300 anny shots, and just a utility for getting out of trouble on short approaches as it holds whatever line you put it on, even with a softer touch. Doesn't have the same distance as the Roc3 or Md3(at least for me) but it holds that anny line and never lets go.

    Nice review....I bag the mako3 occasionally for those tight wooded shots. Never thrown the Evidence...may have to try one. My go tos are the Compass and a First Run Truth

    Another great review. I mostly throw trilogy disc and currently have the Evidence in my bag. I haven't thrown it that often because I also bag the Truth and the Core. My Core used to be my straight midrange, but I lost it in a pond and the new one I have is less stable. I have been working the Evidence in on more shots because it is a straight flyer like the Core, but doesn't have the big skip at the end of flight like my Truth. I've never thrown a Mako3 because I've stayed away from Innova discs because everyone throws them and I don't like to follow the pack.

    I am currently considering the Gateway Element as a super stable midrange. The SSS Wizard is my putter currently (and a Westside Swan recently made my bag for anhyzer putts), so I'm excited to try another Gateway disc, and I've heard some really great things about the element.

      Element is an understable mold from Gateway. Gateway Scout would be closer to these mids. Super stable would be a Demon, then Warrior ending with Karma.

    Would love to see a Coyote vs Mako3 video. The Mako replaced the coyote but I still prefer the coyote. Also a mako3 vs Buzzz video is now needed.

    The Mako3 is a superb disc. It was one of the first discs I had. I switched to a Buzzz and Buzzz SS for a while, but went back to the Mako3 for the straight to understable disc.
    The Mako3 will hold any line you put it on, and therefore makes it a very versatile disc. I throw a Star and Champ Mako3 in max weight.

      Differenct 'tween the two molds?

    • @danielhady3021
      @danielhady3021 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      filoIII Buzzz SS is a straighter more understable Buzzz. Basically flies like a seasoned Buzzz.

    I used to bag an Evidence and had the same experience as Brad's. Not quite as understable as I expected, and I didn't like the hand feel. I now bag a 180 Champion Mako3 and is a superior mold.

    If you do a Slammer review, can you compare it to a Rhyno? I haven't heard a good comparison of these two similar discs.

    I have a watermelon axiom theory for that shot. didn't have a disc for that kind of shot for a while

  • @DarkBiCin
    @DarkBiCin 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Which one was less stable. the 170 or 180 mako 3. cause if your not noticing any flight difference in a 10g difference they you are throwing them completely different.

  • @reid3737
    @reid3737 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just a little form advice for the lefty (I'm a lefty too!). You are opening your front shoulder too early during the throw. Try to slow those shoulders down and let the disc work further into the power pocket. Great video!

    • @Bradley_Martin
      @Bradley_Martin  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Reid Putney thanks. I've noticed that. I think it is being cause by my front foot opening early when I plant. That's getting everything started a little early.

    Thanks for this, I have a star mako3 and it flies nothing like this video or the numbers would indicate. Mine is like stupid overstable and will fade like a firebird would. I have to throw mine on an anhyzer and it will still fight back to hyzer out. I'm not sure why, but after seeing this I'm starting to think that mine is just defective.

    • @filoIII
      @filoIII 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I throw Innova Star Terns. 137g. Got a hot pink one and man, that thing was OVERstable. I've heard Innova has trouble being consistant. IDK.

    • @Taegashi
      @Taegashi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      filoIII I've heard that too about innova, but I've also heard that other makers are just as bad. Personally out of all my discs the ones that are inconsistent with the flight numbers are innova discs.

    How do you throw mid ranges so smoothly with forehand?

    • @robkitchen5344
      @robkitchen5344 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      vanhakaveri + grip it really really tight....keep disc and arm level though the run up or stand still arm swing..... disc should fly with no wobbles

    How far do u guys throw? Normaly I throw about 350ft but sometimes when timing and angle hits right I can reach 400ft. I mean how well I can identify my throws to your throws.

    ive got the Mako3 in champion plastic 180grams..... its without a doubt..STRAIGHT & LEVEL ....a big fast DART in other words....ive got a pop gun arm throwing max 250ft ...it did whatever i want except big fades at end of flight..... been playing 3+years.....Innova should really replace the Panther in their Champion Starter pack with the Mako3.....seriously....

    This disc is not straight. You have to throw it on a hard hyzer to make it fly straight.

  • @johndheaton1
    @johndheaton1 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can't see a single disc fly in the video. As soon as you let go ....the camera is just staring at a nice place with no disc flying to be seen. Please use color flight path graphics.
