I love my Hexes. I'd say that Origin go a touch further but they are also touchier and have more left to right movement during the flight

Agreed, the Origin, for me, is further flying but is harder to control. It has a tendency to flip too much if I'm not precise with the power and release. The Hex seems to be more torque resistant in general.

Good call! Glow torpedo is incredible. Became my favorite disc in my bag the very first day. Can't explain exactly how it flies nicer than my buzzz's but it seems to on every throw.
That remix glow plastic is just perfect in all of their molds too
You should try a meteor, I throw my buzz 320-330 on a full rip, however the meteor does this easier but with some understability

you got to try the Doomsday disc SCOPE
You should do a disc vs disc and count points for which disc gets ctp rather than banging occasional long putts to skew the results.
If you’re ever in Northern Indiana I highly suggest you check out George Wilson it’s where I started disc golf and would love to see you play there

Never thrown a either disc. I think I have Claymore in that slot... So much glide.

Try a Warship if you haven't already, it had WAY more glide than Hex or Buzz but otherwise flew about like them, maybe a tiny bit flippier. I kept over throwing it on smaller up shots and I don't have a big arm.
I agree! I played a Trilogy Challenge recently, and one of the discs was an orbit/halo Warship. Dang thing went almost 90 degrees right. (LHBH) a few days later I was practicing my hyzers flips with it and I juiced it!
Crazy to see this pop up - I was just comparing my beat up origin to my new pink midnight prowl against my Hex! Exact same 3 disc comparison. Great discs!

Its great! Took me 2 different plastics to figure it out. Pushes while maintaining stability and always surprises me how close it gets to the pin
Ive not troed either of those discs, the origin sounds cool to try, but id try a hex as well.

I love my origin. Also have a midnight prowl 2 and it is more stable than my neo origin for sure. Both are beat in so I bag both for different plays

I'd love a hex! I'm so sad, cause I bought some shattered van discs from you a couple months ago and my crave got left behind at a course and never returned after only one round. 😢Still got my fuse and glitch though.

If you ever find the need for an even flippier mid, the exo soft origin beats up real quick is way more understable than the neo/meta. I find the exo soft as kind of an in/out of the bag depending on the course. It does get thrown on some tightly wooded courses with specific lines for it.
Midnight Prowl II is the greatest midrange ever molded.
I wish people could accept that the hex was a great disc before Simon started throwing it.
I know the deal, I wish people had not made fun of the Stalker before Paige Pierce went back to Discraft throwing the disc. A good number doing this also got out old Stalker discs they when she was on Discraft they had a hard time trying to get rid of due to people before the 2017 fix of the Discraft Website made people not think the company was still stuck in 2009 type joke. The Joke after Paige Pirce left the Discraft Team was the Stalker was made for people who can only throw discs with a bead on the rim, one and only reason the mold is still made. Now people use the mold all the time and this often from people who call a Flick if in the bag a fairway driver due to where it has been on the chart since 2017 only due to being pushed out of its slot in the distance drivers when this discs is at least like an older 12 speed rim width at 11/12 speed.
You still haven't tried the best midrange ever created, the Opto Claymore.

Origin is fire
The right run of classic Cobra would sail past all of these.
The 2015 run of Star Cobras on the Factory Store were absolutely money. And they glide FoReVeR
The current run of Champ Cobra on the Factory store is also pretty money as well, just a little issue with flashing
You definitely need to try a glow c-blend infinite chariot, it's my goto midrange for really stretching one out there.

You should try a shimmer gauge and a honeybee gauge. Most underrated disc on the market.

I bag a geo origin for my flippy mid, and a lizottle hex for my straight mid. Both are great, they just fly differently for me.
Try a Gateway Mystic, too. They go FARRRRR and I was an Origin thrower too.

The Comet due to the Glide is one of the furthest flying midrange I have ever used, I was testing my moms disc that is 170 grams and showing her how to use the disc in grip so it is not hooked into the finger getting a late release.

If it flies far it’s not a midrange, even if it’s labeled as one, it’s a fairway driver
Some people can get a putter to fly as far as a fairway driver.
Disagree, important for a mid is that it relies on glide rather than speed to fly far. They fade less and land softer.

As an old guy (53) the diamond rocks! its my long distance disc. It's my hyzer flip disc. It's my backhand turnover disc... it gets thrown more than any other disc in my bag besides my putter...
Origin flips too much for me to be a straight mid even as the MPII. It's in a weird spot where it's too stable to be US but too flippy to be straight, wanted to love it but I just can't.

@@judasblewit I’m exaggerating. Honestly the two discs are very similar. Echo might be slightly deeper. I think the hand feel is better, but the hex ain’t bad either.
