Spring cleaning is so fun though it's hard, but the relief of getting all the unnecessary clutter *out* of the place is just pure bliss, loved watching this can't wait to see more~

I LOVE declutter videos. I recently got rid of 80% of everything in my place. It feels like so much weight has been lifted off of my shoulders!! I also have a tiny apartment but almost no storage 😅

Wont lie, was breaking out into a sweat looking at everything you had to go through, but you did an amazing job, and in record time! I always end up getting side tracked while going through my things.

PSA: for everyone else not gonna film your decluttering, just declutter one drawer/spot at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself by doing everything at once. Open one drawer, sort by keep/throw/donate, then put back all the keep stuff and put the donate/throw near the front door so you can put those out of your house as soon as possible.
You can keep doing this everynight/every weekend etc without making you tired.
I'd say yes to this but for things like the kitchen where everything will already be in the best place possible or things are already grouped together..
Because for my living room area for example it was best to have everything out so this way I can regroup things and put it all away in the same place. (Bc most likely i had similar things across different drawers/boxes etc) Ensuring that I'm organizing in the best way possible! :)
For me what works is collect all similar items all over the house - dump on one spot and then sort organize keep and se clutter..
The 2 cracked cups: put lil plants in 'em. Maybe even herbs(basil, cilantro...).
I would have normally done that but- ive realized in my space I like big plants! Being that my space is so small the smaller plants just make it seem smaller in a way? Unless theyre hanging plants! Love those hehe ♡

Girl I'm just the same with the 'saving for a special day' syndrome.. Truth is you can just decide that it IS a special day even without anything or something bad happening. Who knows when its going to be too late to enjoy these things!
I did a declutter this year too. I did one room per week. I’ve always had trouble of letting go of stuff, but it was really rewarding.
When I moved out of my parents last year, I realized I held onto a lot because of them. They would always ask "What if you need it?" Well I went through a huge decluttering process. Sold a lot of stuff at thrift stores and donated the rest. I started going through the closet in my old bedroom that still has my stuff that I couldn't fit in my apartment. It's so freeing letting go of things!
you can keep "old" spices they don't expire! the flavour just isn't strong as something newer

You can eat dried goods and spices (unless there are bugs in it) for waaay longer. It is not a date of expiry (like meat or fish) but rather an best before date 😊

Love this video! I need to declutter my space, especially my closet. I have way too many clothes because I inherited a lot of relative’s clothes. I also have been collecting a lot of nail polish and it’s started to outgrow the shelf it was contained to.

I totally understand saving food for a special occasion or something but nothing ever feels quite right to celebrate with that special bottle of wine/champagne/snack. So I made up a holiday for it. Whenever I go outside and I say to myself "oh wow, it's actually starting to feel like spring" that's the day. Winter can feel so long and dreary (especially in Oregon, USA, where I'm from) its nice to celebrate the change.
This was so satisfying to watch and reminds me I need to do that with my own apartment, heh...

If you have a deep emotional attachment (that can be debilitating) to your items you might be a hoarder. If you can easily let things go then you're not a hoarder. You might just have too much stuff and you just are having issues with over purchasing items and not keeping balance of things coming in and out. Hoarders Heart here on youtube is doing a great job bringing attention to what hoarding truly is and helping those who suffer with the mental illness. You're really funny and I like the camera angles! : )

maybe give yourself a day once a week UNTIL you gotta move to use that day to just declutter a new part of your home! And well about the recycling, just try to do what you can, donate what you can as well~
