That wine rack idea plus spray painting it with the color you wanted was such an aesthetically pleasing idea oo!! I've also been re-organizing a lot of my art supplies. It's hard to donate some of them sometimes or buy new ones because I always end up wanting to use up my large backlog of supplies before buying anything new haha. Your re-organized shelves as so pretty!

Hi from Quebec, Canada ! Thanks fo feeding my addiction with decluttering and organizing ! This was ASMR all the way for me ! Hahaha I have the same struggle with Brushes. I have too many and basically all the same. I have that one brush that I have had for YEARS and it is in my "collection jar" because its the first and only fancy brush i have and its was given to me from a very dear friend of mine and an amazing artist who lives in Ukraine so I cherish this brush just as much as I cherish our friendship. So yeah juge me for having a "collection" jar with things I never use because its just such a treasure to me. Hahaha
I'm an artist too, love watching art organization. The wine rack is perfect, love the bright color. I also love the pink and green handles on the drawer. That strawberry is such a great find! 🍎❤
Just a tip. When the surface is so dark, try to use a white primer and then the color. To avoid the drippping just keep quite a distance and never release the paint in the object, you have to release the paint outside and then move it to the object. Allways like this: release out, move in until the end, just stop releasing the paint when you have moved out the object completely.

One thing I love a lot, maybe even the most non-living thing in the world, is to find ways to use items, other than what they were designed for. I love it so much!
If you ever spray paint again, after you sand the object it's good to wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol to get all the dust from the sanding off really well, then I would recommend one or two coats of a primer spray paint before adding the color so it's more vibrant, then finish with a sealant top coat to protect the color.

I also have so much arteza gouache and I need to sort through them... but I don't want to get rid of any colours because WHAT IF I NEED IT SOMEDAY?????? I put all my uniposca paint pens in a clear makeup drawer organizer thing that is amazing. I can separate them by point size and see what’s inside each drawer.

Hey Tiffany, if you want to eliminate spray paint drips, just use wet sanding paper. Ask at the hardware store the correct grit, but you can get a great finish with wet sanding. It's even a good idea to varnish afterwards so the paint surface doesn't get scratched from the pens and markers over time. HTH! ❤
I like watching people declutter things that I don't own. Bc if I watched people declutter things that I own then I'd feel bad that I'm not decluttering. That's why I always love artists decluttering lmao
I think it would look so good if you painted like, small designs on the paint brush jars with glass paint or something :) Just to give it a pop of colour.

I don’t know why I clicked on this lol. Maybe I was mildly curious about your stuff. I’d like to offer some advice from an older artist- if you haven’t used it in a long time or you bought it for art school projects but don’t really use it anymore… get rid of it. Keep just what you’re currently using. They’re just functional tools and most of it seems to have outlived its usefulness.
Pro tip: you can frame the brushes you don’t need but who have sentimental value. Make a fun display out of it 🙃
