John, It‘s coming on but still a lot to do. The lead loading is so satisfying and it‘s tried and tested over decades so why change a winning formula. Cheers Dave
Malcolm, Thanks very much. I‘m a great believer in the saying If a Jobs worth doing it‘s worth doing right! Pride in your work seems to be lacking these days. Cheers Dave
Hi Love your video's keep up the good work, I think I noticed that you have fitted the toe board on top of the floor, I'm sure it should be below the floor ( the floor sits on top of the toe board flange) otherwise it will leak like the first mini's did. I could be wrong as the camera didn't stay too long on the toe board installation. Been watching your videos for some years now as I am also a Mini and E type builder.
Mark, I checked tonight and your correct the lower floor returned edge is the wrong way around this is a problem Austin & Morris had in 1959 were the water came in the floor pan. I will point it out in the next video as it‘s such a silly mistake to make. I did mention it to Amir when I saw the lower lip but it was too late before he left for his time off. As I have had a bad back and an issue with my left ankle I haven't spent as much time on the shell as I should have. Cheers Dave
Looking good Dave .....the car 😅 ! There's no hope for you 😅😅 and you love your lead loading ...... great stuff Dave ❤

Man it's come a long way, and yeah the concourse guys tell you "they arent perfect from factory so if you want ORIGINAL then it's not perfect"
Doug, It has been and theres a lot of replacement panels in the build. I guess to be factory finish you need bad panel gaps 🤔🤣😂 Cheers Dave
