Impressive video, Classic Car Cave. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on the sandblasting process and necessary repairs really highlight the attention to detail required in restoration. Have you considered any specific techniques for minimizing rust after repairs?
Hi Dave. Looking fantastic! So jealous of the bodywork you can do. I am sorting out all my mechanical parts first before getting to the body and appearance. I am off to the shops tomorrow for a small bicycle pump, tube and clamp to help bleed my new brakes. Cannot wait to get the unit back on the road and hoping tomorrow is the day. Have a great evening further!
We do try to do the very best on the body were they were never quite right from the factory but it is very subtle unless you know the model well. Cheers Dave
Coming along nicely Dave 👍
Tony, We are getting there slowly but surely TBH the sandblasting is taking up such a lot of time. Cheers Dave
British racing green. ❤
Martyn, I don‘t know why but I have never liked green on cars 🤔 I must have had a few green cars that were trouble 🤣😂 Cheers Dave
because it is sooo rare
after 5 million built there aren't many rare minis. Cheers Dave

John, We are getting closer to getting it on it‘s wheels we just need to repair and sandblast quite a lot of panels. Cheers Dave

Thank you very much your comments are much appreciated. We always use Brunox a rust incapsulate on bare metal and use epoxy primer. Cheers Dave

There was an error with the part number and returning parts back to the UK is a pain and we have the cover so it‘ not a problem. Cheers Dave
