When I'm at the range I have to reconnect the rangefinder and the app every 5 or 10 minutes. Are other people having having this issue? Is there a way around this?

Really cool idea but I'm curious how the onboard compass will be affected by a magnetic bino harness.
That's why we don't use Bino harness with magnets. Anyone that uses OnX or ballistic calculators knows to keep anything magnetic away.
Looks good so far. Does it have data for pcp air rifles?
It doesn't specifically, but if you know the information on the gun you can run the ballistics just like any other firearm and get the corrections for it!
I like it but I'd rather use a Kestrel 5700. I'll keep using my Razor RF.
Well damn. I bought the regular 4000 and I’m about 15 days outside of the return period. I sure would have rather had this one.
You can always sell it and use that money to get the new one!

Whats the battery life on these? Just picked one up two days ago, and it worked fine, updated the firmware and put it away. Went to take it out, and now the battery is dead. I ordered a few spare batteries, and am just hoping I put it in the case weird where it was pressing a button.
Got mine a week ago. Everything working well but one day it wouldn’t power up. Checked the battery and it read 2.5v. Book said it will work down to .75 volts. Took it back to Vortex and they installed another EverReady battery and started working again. A day later same thing and battery was down to 2.25v. Put a Panasonic battery in and 3 days later still working. Now have a spare Duracell. Hope it was just a bad battery. Time will tell.
