    True artistry first off! Being able to have the eye for the background, then your expertise with epoxy and different coloring additives is off the charts! I too have those stickers, and love this look!!

      Thank you so much!! I appreciate that! I love a good challenge to replicate stone.

    Excellent channel from video no. 1. I have watched the full tutorial about 674 times, from my laptop. Every time I lear something. Just bought the router bit from Home Depot, and right now I'm building the inner radius template. Can't wait to build my countertop. Thank you for being such a good training team.

    I love this video because I work in a semi public studio space and often video myself while talking to myself 😂😂 I used to feel awkward but now I know all the cool kids do it

    • @ArtisanDesignConcepts

      LOL! Love that!! I talk to myself not just for samples but through all my pours. That's why on some of my full counter videos I voice them over or put text pop up because I pretty much am mumbling to myself throughout the pour! LOL

    I’m only 1/3 through the video and watching you show how to do what’s been in my head!

    That looks awesome. Just bought some peel and stick paper and was wondering if I could do a board in the same design. So glad I found this.

    Beautiful! I noticed you tried to scale the design. Do you find it fairly easy to scale back up?

    • @ArtisanDesignConcepts

      Thank you very much! This one was a request from another epoxy artist who wanted help figuring out how to reproduce the look so it wasn't one that I actually scaled up. But typically I don't have any issues scaling up if I follow the ratio/recipe in my sample.

    It is so beautiful and encouraging to watch you work! I see that you don't despair at a corner or spot but just keep doing your magic until you get it. Thank you- love this content!

    • @ArtisanDesignConcepts

      Thank you! Definitely don’t stress. You have plenty of working time to adjust and think things through. That’s why samples are so important to do before trying it on a big piece. I rarely post my sample videos because I don’t talk super loud for the camera and there’s usually noise in our shop. But glad you liked it!

    Beautiful work. May I make a suggestion , cut the tip of the stick into a point, this way you can do both tiny and larger veins. the tip can be cut in two different shapes, a middle point and a right angle point.

  • @danilo352

    Thank you very much for sharing your process! I’m hoping to get into epoxying and thought I’d do something similar, otherwise the whole thing is too intimidating. Is that a 24”x20” board and is that the size you typically use to experiment on for the first time on a new idea? Thank you!

    • @ArtisanDesignConcepts

      Glad it helped! We use 14x18 sample boards typically.

    • @danilo352

      @@ArtisanDesignConcepts thanks for the info! Is that what you used at this sample? That’s a clever size since it’s 1/4 of 1,000 sqft 😀

    • @ArtisanDesignConcepts

      @@danilo352 Yes this sample was 14x18. Wish I was being clever LOL! But in reality our boards are based on how many we can cut from a 4x8 sheet of MDF and fit on our sample shelving in our showroom. 14x18 gives a nice size to work with, without it being too big an wasting epoxy for sample purposes.

    Was a blast to watch you work, I might give a try to copying the photo too, I think maybe tilting with some opaque veins over the translucent would give some added depth like the example but we’ll see ❤

    • @ArtisanDesignConcepts

      Thank you! Tilting can definitely help, I just try not to tilt many things because if a countertop is too large and you're really trying to replicate this on a counter or a wall, tilting won't be an option. Or for those who pour in place it's not an option either. I try my best to create the design without needing to tilt even though it does create some amazing effects!

      It's all quite safe once cured. You definitely want to use personal protective gear like gloves and aprons to keep it off you and a mask if spraying spray paint.
