I am still using my Rebula 3 MIJ Gold + Blue version, I think it's hard for me to switch to synthetic materials compared with k-leather. But, even if it's synthetic material on the top, I believe the MIJ boots are worth every cent you put in! Mizuno MIJ is great! I am happy to see many players (both Japanese and Korean) are wearing Mizuno MIJ in the World Cup because Mizuno deserves the recognition.
Your lucky you can even get k leather, it is illegal in California so I have to use my contacts from out state to get some and who knows how long that would take

Made in Japan versions have never been cheap. Especially now that Japan just raised the minimum wages, I don't think it's possible for them to lower the price. I wonder how much the lower versions would cost? That usually costs similar to top ends from other brands. However, if you can cope with the price, it's worth it. It lasts longer. When they say premium quality, they MEAN it.
having played in Adidas boost for years , I changed to the MIJ Murelio Neo's this year & can honestly say I'd never go back. They're the best boot I've ever seen by far . would be nice if they weren't so expensive , but so far they're looking like they'll last much longer than the Adidas boots Iv'e had in recent years, where I've been lucky yo just about stretch them out for a single season before the start falling apart

If Mizuno lowered the price of boots something in the production process would have to be sacrificed to make up for the financial loss: design quality, production quality, material quality, and/or fair wages. Mizuno is a much smaller company than Nike and Adidas; therefore, it can’t play the mass sales angle. Are Mizunos actually too expensive or are other brands too inexpensive?
There is an alternative to the Japan - the Alpha Elite. It’s doesn’t have the KaRVO soleplate board, it has the one from the Neo III. The upper is also marginally thicker, 0.7mm. I got them for $200 and they’re better than the Vapor 15 Elites to me.
Hello fellow friends, I always check reviews from Unisport & SR4U. And found them to be accurate. In the form of the vapor 14s, best lockdown and fit I've ever had. Moving along to Mizunos. I wonder for the non MiJ versions. Which provide the best overall and heel lockdown? Does the Alpha elite have a better fit and lockdown compared to the Morelia Neo 3? Any of you can comment on this? I tried the Morelia 3 Beta Elites, and boy did they give me the worst blisters at the heel area which I could never break into.
Hi, I can relate! I had the same issue with Neo 3 Beta Elites just few weeks ago and sent them back under Mizuno Guarantee! Also tried Morelia 2 MIJ and they are amazing boots but the heel area isn't for me. Now I just ordered Alpha Elites from Unisport and waiting on them, really hope they give me the fit I need finally.
Mizuno is an interesting company because they don’t really compete with adidas and Nike, if they wanted to be the best they would lower there prices and be more competitive but instead they just make there products with quality and make you decide if you want to fork over the cash for a pair.

The price of MIJ Mizunos here in Asia makes Nike and Adidas look expensive. On the other hand, Nike and Adidas will have decent deals if you're patient enough.
I disagree with a lot what is mentioned in the video. For reference I had wide and flat feet. Most boots feel uncomfortable for me (New balances, most Nikes). The toe box of the alpha was mentioned a few times. There's more than enough volume in there, especially compared to something like the new balance plus's which has no volume at all. There is more room compared to a Mercurial, and even a Tiempo 10. You can see it from the side profile, it's pretty high compared to most boots, not low or pointy. The upper is much more malleable than the vapors. Definitely the most comfortable speed boot, along with the neo 4's.
I have wide feet and a pretty high arch, so finding clears has always been hard and I’ve usually had to lean towards leather boots so they can just mold to my feet. But Puma has always been a solid brand for my feet size. I haven’t tried the newest Ultras but the old ones have some nice width and toebox and the mesh tong helps stretch to my arch.
For sizing, i would suggest going half a size up. I hear hypervenoms size 8us(41euro) ordered mizuno alpha 7.5, couldn't fit. Ordered 8(too tight). Mizuno euro41 is their us 8.5. That fit perfectly.

I just got my Alpha Elites and I would go 1/2 size down in JPN size, otherwise the fit is weirdly loose imo. They are a tight boot so no way around it.
@@aofa. I wear nike EU 43 and with Alpha I went for EU 41, it's definitely tigther from the toes but EU 42 was bit too long for me. I would order Mizunos based on CM/JPN sizing, it tends to be more accurate.
Even if i would get a pair of these, unisport would never send me anything and let me sitting in the dark with my order. Service and support is not a big thing at unisport anymore

At $320, this is a non-starter for me in the States. A tiempo legend 9 at full retail is $230, Vapor 15 at $250. And those you can get on sale every now and then.
You can get these from sellers in Asia for $250. Even at the full retail price, it's 28% more than the Vapor, 39% more than the Tiempo, but likely would last 50% longer if Mizuno MIJ track record is anything to go by.

Alpha pro has the same upper, same sole, but without karvo. It’s very good and should try it.
