Aside from stud pattern, I think the biggest thing people should probably look for is comfort. Most boots nowadays are too "gimmicky" with tech that is honestly very negligible during a game. I think if your boot is comfortable, you will play your best. Stud pattern is #1. I saw someone's foot go backwards cause their boot literally had too much grip on a AG pitch.

I'm a complete Newby to football. The few times I've tried playing they've placed me as a defender. So I guess that's my position now. I want to start training myself to have actual ball control. But also have nice sturdy boots to protect my feet, since im always fighting to get the ball away from the other players. I have wide feet size 10 1/2 US. What would be a good recommendation, not super expensive but not super cheap either. A good beginner trainer

Hey Jay, could you make a video on how to evenly distribute time throughout a match. In order to preserve energy for the most critical moments in the game.
Everytime is crucial, it's like if you had 10000000$ for one day but could only use it one day. You would ofcourse try to use as much as you can, do play like a dog each an every possession. That's what a couch would say and what I agree with.
I kinda agree with him but you cant always go at 100% unless you are a cardio monster. But if your playing 11 v 11, you will prolly have moments of downtime to reenergize. Know your limits. Train hard to be in the best shape possible and pick your moments wisely. Conserve when you can and go all out when its time. If you run out of steam, use a sub. If you dont have a sub, be extra smart how and when you go all out. Its basically just knowing the game and knowing your limitations. Hope this helps?

I used to wear adidas f50 messi World Cup 2014 colour way. They’re so stupidly comfy until they torn & I never find that comfy in my 5 pairs boots after that. None of them even come close 😕

Firm ground is ur normal ground like simple grass while Soft ground is muddy and the ones where u would slip and stuff with ur normal shoes

As far as boot fit goes what if you have wide toes and a narrow heel. I have always struggled with toe boxes being too tight and heel cups being loose and my heel moving. Can I use a runners lace up with a wide boot?

The majority of the football fields in my city are natural grass grounds, since I was a kid I buy FG boots. And yes I tried since then, everything from every Brand, my fav are mercurials and tempos from nike And copa from adidas .

Why is it so difficult here in the US to get articial grass pitch boots? Well... more so via Adidas (they fit the best for my feet, and stud plate feels better to me as well).

I bought a pair of predator edge boots and they are in a size 9 but whenever I wear a standard Nike/Adidas sock they feel quite loose? I’m wondering how to overcome this problem p.s I’ve already played football in them so can’t take them back
