I was working like SQA, where my principal functions were to develop Incoming Inspection, where the OEM (VW) send me directly the quality criteria color to ensure the standard at moment to receave each lot (Raw Material), the SQE developed and review the 8d with its respective action plan with the supplier each time that I report a non-conformance. Thanks for this video to support our activities like quality department.
At my first job, I'm supposed to be a SQE but went to a job interview at a different plant, they told me Im not a SQE that Im a SQA, and now that I see your video everything is more clear, Im surely a SQA but my current job has the role as SQE. Thanks for your videos
thanks for your sharing. I believe in same case, SQE also covered task of SQA which require SQE to be at supplier and manufacturing plant. In your opinion, after established PPAP and nter Mass Production phase, should be all the activity covered by SQA?. In other word, handover from SQE to SQA. TQ

@@Ezra510h THanks for sharing your career experience, that is great to hear and shows that there are many possibilities to develop! Regarding the business questions, for me there is no better or worse. For my part, I would define who is my customer, then think about what is my offer (what problem do I solve for them) and then start selling. When they start buying you can find support to help you deliver, and hire people etc. If financing is an issue you might want to look out for people or institutions that would lend money against a signed order contract, and from there start to build your own capital stock and core team. what do you think?😃

Great information, im currently SQA Supervisor in Mexico's Automotive company. Sometimes we loss this type of logical assumptions when we talk about supplier quality. What do you think about the Supplier Relations Management?
thank you Jose, glad that you find it helpful. Supplier relations management is relevant to identify win-win relationship and enable long-term cooperation. Long-term cooperation where the supplier has a deep understanding of the customer needs can save a lot of money, because communication is easier and the supplier is more likely to meet the customer requirements and deliver what is really needed. In this way it also reduces risks as there is a mutual understanding about how to do the things. Let me know what you think!
Hi Nam, I already have a video for Supplier Quality Manager Interview, technically it would be the same for SQE, but more focussed on the tecnical part and less on the management abilities, you can click here: th-cam.com/video/DLwxpXuy8tg/w-d-xo.html
