  • How can we assess the quality capability of new suppliers? - Florian proposes to use VDA 6.3 process audit questionaire to audit identify strenght and weaknesses of new suppliers. This is an automotive quality audit tool, however, the logic might be applied in many other industries.

      Hello Mirinda (is this your 1st name?) Thank you for your comment.
      I don't know in which Industrie you are working, but you could look into VDA 6.3 process audit book for more details and specific audit questionaire and adequate evidences. This standard is for the automotive industry ,but could be probably used as a general guidance in any industry. Maybe this is helpful

    What are the dangers presented by a potential supplier 's misrepresentation?

      Hello Nelly,
      If I understand you correctly then you ask what can happen if I arrive at the wrong conclusion. In this case you could either over or under evaluate the potential. In case I overevaluate then I will have a risk for my business because the supplier is not as good as assumed and that might cause problems. If I underevaluate then maybe I might lose a business opportunity even though the supplier might be on the right level already. Please let me know if this wasn’t your intended question or if it is helpful
