I'm in Fukushima for the past 20 years. I remember the disaster like it was yesterday. So many people lost their lives, families , friends , husbands , kids, wifes etc. I know some who have lost everything. I just hope you guy's don't go into more of the the abandoned houses. Many Japanese consider this to be very disrespectful by showing the photos on the wall. there's a lot of private stuff left behind and before you there were foreigners doing this and it gives others a bad name. It's all about respect here. It's embedded in the culture. Watch out and beware of the police. You ain't want to get caught and be in custody in Japan, just saying.....

My uncle was on the international delegation of nuclear advisors that was the first to enter the area after the evacuation. Even after 20+ years as a Navy SEAL, numerous wars and deep cover operations he was a part of, he said that trip was the one that made him feel the most uncomfortable. It's as if time just stopped there and everyone disappeared.

The only reason Japan is not 75% evacuated is due to the power plant being on the east coast of Japan, and prevailing winds blowing east into the Pacific. Thanks, this was great work to show how the people were affected by multiple disasters and the most devastating industrial accident so far.
Should have brought a geiger counter to verify if the government is telling the truth about radiation levels and to know if the former residents can retrieve some of their stuff.

Always take Photos of Old Photos you find While Exploring . Those Pictures May Be Their Last . These are important for the History Gatherers .

@@RAFAEL199O No high radiation, people were evacuated from the fear of radiation, not actual radiation. About 1500 people died from the hurried evacuation, none of them died due to radiation.

That Honda Legend was sold as the Acura Legend in the U.S. in the late 80's through the early 90's. The one you saw was a 90's model.
