  • For today's unboxing review we bring you the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. It is, plain and simple, a hot rod SUV with 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Because America. All of that power comes courtesy of a 6.4-liter Hemi V8. Performance? Try 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, 0-100 in 11.4 seconds and a top speed of 176 mph. Not bat at all for an SUV that tips the scales at over 5,200 pounds. What about fuel economy? Not good, as you likely guessed, coming at 13/19 mpg city/highway. But that doesn't nor shouldn't matter to owners. They're buying one of the most powerful SUVs on the planet for tens of thousands of dollars less than any of its German rivals, such as the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and BMW X5 M, both of which cost six figures. The Grand Cherokee SRT? Base price is $66,895. Our tester, equipped with lots of luxury features, came in at a grand total of $81,250, which is still good considering the amount of power you get. And that's why we love this thing. Lots of power, luxury, and the convenience of an off-road capable SUV for less than six figures. Only in America. Enjoy the review!
