I had a ‘15 Grand Cherokee and I would 100% get another one. It was amazing and this car looks sick.
I have the 2023 overland and I absolutely love it. This Jeep can compete with trucks when it comes to towing as it’s very stable when towing. This is my 4th consecutive Jeep grand Cherokee
Our 2017 Overland still running great with 134k miles. Now with grand kids we may need the third row.
Great video! You nailed the essentials with no errors. Btw, coming from a 2021 BMW X7 M50i and a 2015 Mercedes GL550 before that, our family prefers the V8 powered 2023 Jeep GC L Summit Reserve which we currently own for several reasons. The Palermo leather seats with massage function are terrific. (Massage in name only with the German vehicles-they’re pitiful).
Night vision for the deer in Pennsylvania is so nice as they are highlighted in yellow.
McIntosh audio system is superb, especially if you like the bass on the heavy side like we do.
Getting in and out of the third row was a nightmare on the X7. Press the wrong button and you have to wait for the cycle to finish; reset; and press the correct button. Try that with kids waiting. Just give us a top seat lever like the Jeep. The” droid” head rests on the Merc were so inconvenient. Love the Jeep designed ones with electric flip down if necessary.
Air ride is excellent although not as smooth as the X7. That being said, we love how the Jeep lowers automatically when shifted into park for my 80 year old dad to exit or enter. Had to do this manually every time on the Bimmer. Fam cam is awesome to watch the kids in the back.
Wireless phone charger is so much better than the one in the X7. It hardly charged our iPhones in the Bimmer.
Phone connectivity with the app is so much better than the German product but still way behind our Tesla connectivity which shows real time live events on the Tesla app.
Things we miss…. heated and cooled cup holders and soft close doors that our German vehicles had. The rear luggage room with the third seats UP is much better than the German vehicles we owned. This is important with a trip to the beach and all seats occupied.
We also drove the six cylinder version of the Jeep GC L and it was dismal at best. Would not own a six cylinder version of this model. Our biggest concern? Reliability. Fortunately Jeep gives you three years bumper to bumper plus free oil changes with Jeep wave product. Plus a dealership is three minutes from our house. We bought our 2023 Jeep used with 3900 miles on it and it has had three recalls and a wheel bearing replacement. Fortunately they were all covered. We now have 11,000 miles on it.
Overall we are extremely satisfied with it. We receive quite a few compliments on the look of it with the white color and black top. Our GL550 received even more compliments though with the lunar blue metallic paint and chrome accents. Hard to beat that look. Hope this helps and keep up the great work with your vids.
I'd definitely will buy a Grand cherokee again. You don't even need to go that high the limited is the sweet spot. Even the laredo's come with heated seat and steering wheel. I still have my 2015 and it's been extremely reliable beside basic maintenance I've only changed out the harmonic balancer and one fuel injector. However I had a 2020 L and it's basically the same but fuel economy sucked and It only gave us 1 extra seat so I sold it. But I'll be buying another one in about a month.
Grand Cherokee L is actually big asf. 3 rows and traverse sized trunk. Well rounded alternative to the wagoneer

This thing desperately needs some version of the new Hurricane engine. Doesnt even have to be full power, Id take a detuned version with like 310 hp and 330 lb/ft of torque. Just something to put a little more pep in its step
They will probably offer it in the near future in trim levels that offered hemi v8 as an option
Totaly would buy one. Owned a 2014 grand Cherokee limited, a 2019 Cherokee limited, and a 2024 grand Cherokee limited !
My 2014 Summit has 132k miles and still runs strong. Quiet interior with the only rattle, more like creak, coming from the panoramic roof. Dealership service added extra padding over the years which helped but it sometimes gets displaced/falls out. I am a huge nitpick with interior/road noise and I still appreciate my GC. That said, I am getting the itch for a BMW X3/X5 or Genesis GV70 but these new GCs are starting to get my attention again. I didn’t care for the external refresh and Stellantis takeover (e.g. more problems) but more bang for the buck and still “luxurious” is sound good to me. Still, I long for a tad more power from launch.

GC is so different in stature that I don’t think I would get a CX-90 over a GC but the GC is a little light…need a solid drive. Can’t be bouncing around. But I do want that Wagoneer for sure. 😂😂😂

Started with a Laredo, moved into a Limited & now the Overland.
Summit would be next, maybe an L model with the High Altitude & Hemi.

Bought our first GC 2015 Limited, 2018 Sterling Edition GC, 2020 GC Overland, now own a 2022 GC Summit. Ultimately, the Summit was the best of our past ones. Would continue buying. Might actually consider the Summit 4xe I'd the battery range was better. Need more than 30 miles and also would like it to be a true hybrid where the engine could regenerate charge to the battery.

I had a Grand Cherokee Laredo in the late 90's and loved it. I have always wanted another one and finally got it about 6 months ago. I went with a 2023 Limited with 2 upgrades. I love it! It was pricey at just under $60,000, and because the interest rates are sky high right now, I paid cash. The only problem I have is a rattle that drives me nuts. I finally figured out that it's the lock cylinder in the glove box, and it only rattles when I'm on a dirt road. I will have it checked out when I take it to the dealership for my first oil change. Overall, I am happy with my decision.

Some of these large SUVs pricing is getting out of control. Well equipped trim is approaching $70,000 - 80,000 CAD. I'm not even sure what we are paying for any more 😂. The Mazda CX-90 & 70 are priced more reasonably in my opinion, at least in Canada.
Beautiful design the back seat screens are sweet, is the reliability still an issue though?

We loved our pilot. The button the the top of the tailgate was an often complaint. We played a PlayStation in that car. The key button to roll the windows down was great! I loved that car. We are mostly happy with our Ram Limited.
It’s almost cost ₹80L even wrangler is cheaper than grand Cherokee where i live and it looks XL version of Jeep meridian
I've owned a 2015 Grand Cherokee Summitt V8 and I currently own a 2019 Grand Cherokee High Altitude V6. I do miss that V8 power. However, if I was in the market for a new suv I would definitely consider buying another Jeep.

Test drove the Nautilus this weekend. Really, really like the vehicle. Very buttoned down. Don’t bother with the 0-60 test, not what the Nautilus is about.
I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitud. I don’t plan on upgrading it anytime soon. I’m not a fan of the new rounded Jeep design. It’s made the aggressive body style Jeep’s had go dull and more minivan looking.
Vehicle looks so refined that I will personally rank it in the luxury class. You get so much car (amenities) for your money and it is definitely built for snow and other rough weather and roads. The only thing that makes me hesitant with getting one is the reliability with sooo many recalls and engine issues. But then again, if you take care of a vehicle properly you can drive it over 100k miles.

That old V6 is disappointing
I would never get one without the HEMI. I’d take the old 4.0 strait 6 over the pentastar.
If they werent so un-reliable... I mean you can get one with a pretty hefty discount right about now if you really want to go down that avenue...
For me this is one of the crossovers that blends offroad ability into a 2 or 3 row format with luxury features....not to mention V8...
However jeep still hasnt figured out to how to strengthen the A pillar .... Btter than previous gen whuch was trash and dangerous..

Welll thoughtout . Useful features we can actually use and would use. Lucious enough....more than a Toyotoa Land CruiseréFord Explorer but not quite a BMW X5MéMB G-wagon....ranging from $50-80k....priced ...actually the same a a Land Cruisere....and you get a McIntosh 19 peaker audio ytem--high-end...nice touch...worth considering// Makes one wonder why any one woudl spend antoher $70k for a X5M jut because it can do 0 to 60 in 3.5sÉ Slightly more lucxury inside....not a well thoghtout .inside....which is more important than xterior styleing, or even the engine....
...and it has 'air suspension'....so neded for city driving (or subeurbia)...
Test drove this one in the Overland trim when it came out. That 3.6 is a complete turd. And the 5.7 is not much better. The price is a joke so I went to the BMW dealership and bought a new X5. Night and day difference.
The 0-60 is SUCH a disappointment.

All that gloss black in center stack is really a dust Magnet. Everyone complains about that but this company (Stellantis) does not care. They are just bottom line oriented with no soul. Look at the interior colors all black unless you pay even more for Summit. Limited used to have leather interior now has vinyl. A Honda Pilot always had more quality but now has even more soul. Stay away from overland trim air suspension.

As a jeep fan I'm sick and tired of this name juggling which is stupid and if you're not a car person you'd be totally lost. It time to change this. Make this the Cherokee and the long version called the grand Cherokee

That's so non confusing that make perfect sense can anybody walking into that Toyota dealership when you look at the two different Vehicles they look different you totally get the purpose of the vehicle now I am a car enthusiast so the different Vehicles don't really confuse me but for the average person that just does not make any sense plus if they are going to reintroduce the Cherokee at some point they have a really hard fight ahead of them based on the current compact SUV segment and the offerings that are out there they can't afford to be coy
