    Happening Now! OFFICIAL Model 2 Project Redwood: Production Leaks and Tech Details!
    Giga Texas, Tesla's sprawling manufacturing plant in Austin, is gearing up to become a powerhouse in the world of next-gen EVs. And guess what? The buzz is all about the highly anticipated Model 2 Project Redwood.
    Happening Now! OFFICIAL Model 2 Project Redwood: Production Leaks and Tech Details! But what exactly does this mean for the Model 2 Redwood's production? What's the production timeline looking like? And what can we expect from Tesla's latest innovation? And let's not forget to address the big question: why Tesla choosing Giga Texas? What makes this facility the perfect fit for Tesla's ambitious plans? Join us in today's video as we uncover all the juicy details!
    Happening Now! OFFICIAL Model 2 Project Redwood: Production Leaks and Tech Details! The speed of Model 2 production that Tesla is aiming for at Giga Texas is mind-blowing. They're eyeing a staggering 10,000 cars per week, which adds up to around half a million cars annually. Although this figure falls short of the targeted 4 million budget electric vehicles (EVs) per year, the pace could ramp up rapidly. By 2026, Tesla might hit the mark of 2 million Model 2s split between Giga Texas and other facilities. Projected sales figures for the "Model 2" are staggering, estimated at around 42 million units, nearly doubling the current sales figures of the Model Y and Model 3. Interestingly, this timeframe aligns with the period when most other electric vehicle manufacturers are unveiling sub-$25,000 EVs to the public, aiming to capture the market.

    Battery production is accelerating. With Giga Nevada and Giga Texas bringing up multiple battery lines. Plus one of Tesla's battery vendors announced a US factory for 4680 batteries.
    By the time the model 2 in production, they will have the batteries.

    So CNBC on air personality, Phil LeBeau announced earlier today that Tesla is scrapping its plans to produce the much talked about Model 2, and instead refocus their attention on creating a fleet of Robo taxis.

      CNBC has not been a good source of info for Tesla. They just repeated what Reuters said and Musk has already sait it was nonsense.
      Not surprised if CNBC chose to repeat a debunked story.

    Nice! So maybe by 2032 we can start seeing some of these judging by Tesla's "Announcement to Production" time frame. And maybe by then battery technology will be able to give us a 600 -700 mile range, making it somewhat workable for most people.

      @escheidl หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@theodorehaskins3756 Because it's going to take that long before we will see that kind of range in a sub 35k electric car. I hope I'm wrong and they can do it sooner. Because that's what it will take for the average Joe to even consider embracing this technology.

    Next generation EVs? I sure hope that the next generation EVs will be improved with much shorter down times, much longer ranges and available in a full size luxury automobiles. This would give the EV owner a real reason to boast the EV. If china can come out with EVs with 15 minutes of charging for a range of over 600 miles, there's no reason why the United States of America can't. This is my challenge to you mr Elon Musk. Can you do it? If you can, then long range will be no longer reserved for gas cars only. This is the kind of EV im waiting for. Till then, I'll keep my jaguar XJl and the 570 miles of range it provides me with and leave well enough alone....

    • @adamtech999
      @adamtech999  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tesla can do the 600 miles benmarck. They got the support from CATL for the new battery, then why not? It's just a matter of time.

    Low voltage, 48V?
    Yeah because that is much lower than 12V 🤷‍♂️
    Who checks the scripts? Their guide dog has fallen asleep

    • @Paul-ng4jx
      @Paul-ng4jx หลายเดือนก่อน

      For starters just to defend him 48 V is in every electric car 12 V is just a battery that they use for electronics and stuff like to start gas powered vehicles but no they don’t use 12 V and electric cars except for the electronics only so you’re missing informed it’s not the script that’s wrong. Your brain that’s wrong.

    • @adamtech999
      @adamtech999  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      48V is considered a low-voltage level compared to high-voltage electrical systems in other electric vehicles such as 400V or 800V. However, compared to the traditional 12V electrical system in cars powered by internal combustion engines, 48V is a higher voltage and can support more advanced features in modern electric vehicles such as the Tesla Model 2.
