The cargo space in the Model Y is simply massive. Perfect for a weekend getaway!
The Tesla apps functionality sounds impressive. Remote control for your car? Yes, please!
AMEN. Just bought my second Tesla in 4 years and absolutely love all the features The most important feature I have found is ROADABILITY. SMOOTH AND NEARLY SOUNDLESS ON NEWER PAVEMENT. Excellent handling with accurate steering. I used auto pilot all the time. HOWEVER FSD IS DANGEROUS! No hyperbole here. In one short stretch of suburban driving I had over 5 interventions. It is absolutely DANGEROUS in left turn attempts. My experience is 3 years as a TEST CRASH DUMMY for Elon’s fleging FSD from 2020 to 2023. Survived but scared the s..t out of my wife. Definitely buy one, especially if you can home charge. 95% of my charging is at home. On a recent trip from Tucson to Las Vegas Superchargers we’re always available including the new 250s. BUY AND ENJOY THE NEW WORLD. It is the 21st century!
Thanks for sharing your experience with Tesla, my friend. You're right-FSD still has some flaws and currently requires human intervention. However, I believe Elon will eventually achieve fully autonomous driving. For now, it's best to use FSD on highways with minimal traffic around you.
When would you recommend leasing?
I just bought Model Y about 3 weeks ago, very cool ride, I love it!
Der Stauraum im Model Y ist einfach riesig. Perfekt für einen Wochenendausflug!
Do you want a bigger space?
Adam Tech, your reviews are always so thorough. Thanks for this breakdown!
Glad u like it:)
The maintenance costs for the Model Y are surprisingly low. Big plus!
The cargo space in the Model Y is just massive. Perfect for long trips around Australia!
Absolutely!
Great video!!!
Thank you!!
The frunk space in the Model Y is a brilliant addition. More room for stuff! 👏
How will you use that frunk space?
Tkanks!
My pleasure! Glad you like it
Sentry Mode is such a great feature for added security. Love it!
True!
Can’t wait to see it in action! 🔋
Me too
The Model Y sounds like the perfect all-rounder. Thanks for the thorough review, Adam Tech!
Thanks for your kind word!
I’m a rideshare driver. 8 years in and always drove gas powered vehicles. I would have to fill up daily, close to 45-60 per fill up. I do 15 max in the model 3. I see more money coming to me, and I don’t work as hard. I was a Tesla hater, because I was skeptical, I’m a Tesla lover now.
Changing from diesel and gas to electric is one of the most hardest choice, but you won't regret it at all. Totally worth it.
How reliable is the Supercharger network for road trips across the country?
The Model Ys cargo space is perfect for Canadian road trips! 🍁
We agree!
Autopilot is such a cool feature. Makes driving stress-free.
It is just a basic feature that comes standard with every Tesla. FSD is much better.
Excellent info! And true. Investments had a Y for 4 months and it’s outstanding….don’t miss the exhaust smell. Gas station stops (charge at home). And maintenance costs. Interface with systems is intuitive. I could go on but the point is, In short, it’s the best car I’ve owned. If doubtful rent one for a week.
Thanks for your sharing!
I did my second test drive yesterday
MY is the Best ever
So after 2 test drive, do you decide to buy it yet? Surely will worth every penny
@@adamtech999 i knowed it before the tests also. But now really
The Tesla app integration is super handy.
It's a testament to Tesla's commitment to providing innovative and user-friendly technology solutions for its customers.
The cargo space in the Model Y is incredible.
Enough to store package for a long-trip with a family of 7
Missed the tripple insurance cost over the 20% upfront purchace cost of the car over ICE. so there goes any gas savings....
Tesla will get cheaper overtime, and EV incentive will have some change next year.
The Tesla app makes managing the car so easy. 👍
😎😎😎
I’m a bit sceptical about the long-term reliability of Teslas batteries. Any thoughts?
Rapid charging is a lifesaver. I hate waiting around for my car to charge.
In future, it only take 10 mins, and even 5 mins to charge an EV, and Tesla will be one of the first to do this.
How dies FSD performs in pouring rain and dense fog?
Does the car slows down on the highway under these conditions?
Video please.
Thanks for a brilliant idea! We’ll definitely do it soon. Stay tuned!
It performs pretty good in bad conditions and yes, it does slow down for bad conditions, even normal Autopilot does that.
Adam Tech : “ Model Y , Tesla’s flagship SUV”
Model X : “ Well what am I ? “
I talked about sales output, not product's quality
The safety features give me peace of mind. Tesla really prioritizes safety. 💪
They always achieve a 5-star NHTSA safety rating with their cars. They are built like tanks.
Autopilot on the Model Y would make those long outback drives so much easier.
Do you usually use Autopilot?
Charging from 20-80% in 25 minutes? That’s incredible!
Absolutely, it's impressive! Charging from 20-80% in just 25 minutes is a game-changer for the industry. And in the future, only need 10 mins for charging EV
The Model Ys range is impressive, but how accurate are these estimates in real-world conditions?
While Tesla's range estimates are based on stringent testing, real-world performance can be slightly lower due to various external factors such as driving style and environmental conditions
Good job Tesla
Elon for the win. And thanks for supporting our channel😙
Tesla’s safety features are always impressive. The Model Y is no exception.
5 star safety as always:)
Tesla is leading the pack!
Tesla rules!
The Tesla app integration is super convenient..
That's right! What do you like most about it?
Tesla’s safety features are always top-notch.
And more will come in new future car. Can't wait to see!
I bought one with dark gemini wheels
Worth every penny.
I have a 2020 Model 3 and I would love to one day purchase a Model Y for my wife and own two Teslas.
Wish you get Model Y soon!
Autopilot on the Model Y sounds like it makes long drives much easier.
Of courses. Features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic lane changes can help reduce driver fatigue and improve overall safety on highways and long stretches of road.
🤔The low maintenance costs are appealing, but electric cars still seem too new to trust fully.
That might be true for EVs from other brands, but Tesla always equips their cars with top-tier build quality and over-the-air updates, so why not trust them? Additionally, their car performance is great.
Waiting for a 500 miles version
With that 500 mile version, do you think Tesla will use any special battery?
@@adamtech999 They can make it 500 now... it'd just costs a lot. Would say we won't have one for a few gens
Have you noticed that the AWD long range Model Y 2024 is a halirious 308 miles only. That should not be called long range. And since Tesla recommend charging up to only 80% (for battery longevity reasons) and do not use the last 5% (to avoid battery drainage), so there is only 75% usable range on a daily basis. So 75% of the stated 308 miles means only 231 miles usable range if we want to keep the battery life long. And the range will only get worst as the vehicle and battery age.
Well, range based on how you drive, the speed, the outside temp, and many other factor, but what you said is not wrong either. That why Tesla has jump in battery development field and recently Elon has confirmed a few update.
Will wait for the new model y because the suspension will be better ....only thing is you have no stalks anymore......
It definitely worth the wait:)
I’m waiting too. The current suspension is so bad. I feel bad for people who drive them 😂 The lumbar support is also an absolute joke. Not sure what useless ivy league engineer dreamed that one up.
@@johnlocke3481 was thinking exactly the same😊
For me it’s the Model Y or Model 3
What feature do you like the most?
Fast charging in just 25 minutes? ?
What do you think about it?
Is the Model Y really the best choice for 2024? Need more convincing.
Wait for more from Elon. Sure he will bring the best to the table
Don’t enjoy the test drive. It’s hard to control constant acceleration and deceleration with foot paddle. Can this be controlled to have a better smooth ride. The jerking motion gave me a sea sick.
You get used to it over time for the smooth drive experience. How quick you get there depends on the fine tuned driving skills
You will get used to it soon. I know it hard to drive a Tesla at first.
You will get very good at it. I smoothed it out by the 5th test drive.
I would buy one if the seats weren't so uncomfortable. More than 1 hour of drive my bag and flexers are hurting. Such a bad design
You can modify it, and the newer version also get better seat quality
Insurance is expensive. Registration is expensive.
Battery is expensive.
A Prius gets 50 miles to the gallon. You don’t save money on gas.
If you drive 100 miles every day for a month on Model Y LR RWD, the monthly savings on gas would be around $338.46. That is the real data.
@@adamtech999 not in Orange County. 30 ¢/kWh
I’ve owned 2 Prius so far. Best car I’ve ever owned and has cost me next to nothing to own. I just picked up a Model Y and it’s a totally different car. Toyota has no tech in it and you really can’t compare the two. I was looking to get the new Prius Prime but good luck finding one and especially without a huge dealer markup
-Insurance is the same as my gas car.
-Battery is fully warranted for 120k miles.
-I would save $6k on gas alone in the first five years
-I would save $3k on maintenance in first 5 years.
-Never need oil, breaks, or any other gas engine crap.
@@johnlocke3481 not in Orange County 30 ¢/kWh. Don’t forget registration cost more and tires are expensive
This video is totally biased. It doesn’t give any legitimate reasons not to buy a Tesla of which there are some.
I don’t really get you mean. Our video title is “reason to buy Model Y” so I don’t think writing about reason not to buy is suitable
I’m impressed by the versatility of the Model Y’s storage space.
How will you use that storage space in your daily life?
Der Stauraum im Model Y ist einfach riesig. Perfekt für einen Wochenendausflug!
Sicher. Es ist das geeignete Auto für eine 7-köpfige Familie und am besten für lange Tagesausflüge.
Is the Model Y really the best choice for 2024? Need more convincing.
The future will prove it! ^^
I just bought one about 3 weeks ago, it’s an amazing car, I love the way it responds and handles the road, very smooth and quit.
