Last summer, Tesla unveiled the original Dojo supercomputer, which was already among the world's fastest and most powerful. The latest generation of Dojo chips, named D1 and manufactured by TSMC, are packed by Tesla into a compact cluster containing 25 chips.

This setup enables high-performance interconnection, effectively treating all 25 chips as a single processor. According to information from Tesla's AI Day event in September 2022, the Dojo chip boasts a staggering capability of performing 1,024 billion calculations per second, equivalent to a mind-boggling 1 exaflop. In contrast, NVIDIA's flagship A100 chip can only manage 312 teraflops, or 0.312 exaflops - a mere fraction of the Dojo's prowess.

That Robot wouldn’t make it at UPS, it moves too slow.

Tesla is improving their humanoid robot every day. Its movement is smoother than most robots these days, and its hand will have 22 degrees of freedom (DoF) by the end of 2024. It just needs a little bit of fine-tuning to achieve perfection. Right now, Tesla has already put their robot in the factory for field testing, training it via AI and neural networks. Considering the positive progress, no way this robot couldn't make it at UPS.
