Marshallese is such a cool and unique sounding language! I'm glad to hear it's spoken by the majority Marshallese and hasn't been replaced with English over time

can someone here explain why are the micronesian languages so different from the other austronesian branches? i can't seem to notice a lot of similarities except for the numbers and a word like "Atua" which probably means "God" (?)
Ithkuil language next? This language is made by John Quijada and Ithkuil is probably the most complicated but underrated language in the world. Here's a 6 word sentence example of ithkuil but romanized: "Aukkras êqutta ogvëuļa tnou'elkwa pal-lši augwaikštülnàmbu". Keep in mind this language has its own script. I really want a video about Yapese languages. It's one of only 2 Austronesian languages with ejective consonants (the other one is Waima'a language in East Timor) and the only one with ejective fricatives.

I'm from Chuuk and in some parts of Chuuk they say different. Words like where I'm from we say limo for 5
