Carbs on carbs gang! You are my people. Your noodle recipes do not disappoint. I make your chow mein/bok choy/napa cabbage dish all the time. It's literally my favorite thing I eat now.
Handy pronunciation guide "woo-ster-sheer" woo as in woohoo, ster as in the start of sternum, sheer as in the word meaning see-through. The recipes all look great! 💚🖤💚
@@shamanasinde2969 when you put the syllables together they naturally sound closer to wuss-ster-sheer, but if I'd given a first syllable example that ended in s and a second syllable that also began in s people might try to put too much emphasis or a break there 😊
@@UmmEss I've lived in the UK my whole life and have never heard a single person use sher as the ending syllable. This could of course just be a regional difference, but I was sharing an easy way for people to say a word that causes a lot of confusion.
😂 you just brightened up my very rainy Sunday with your pronunciation of Worcester sauce 😊. I watched that bit several times. Great video, great recipes, thank you xx
I have just subscribed to the PUL app. I have never seen anything like that. Tons of great recipes, very practical and fun to use. Sadia, you and your team have done an amazing job. It really is changing peoples' lives for the better!
Little tip for when frying mushrooms: start them in the pan in water first, just enough water to almost cover the bottom of your pan. Once the water has evaporated, you can add your oil and they'll fry up and get golden instead of just absorbing the oil. (Less cries for help too 😂)
yess carbs on carbs is yummy; do not let diet culture tell you otherwise loved the yakisoba! however, I do not like sugary vinegar sauces... I usually do tomato sauce and soy sauce, even though it is not authentic. The noodles per si have a ton of different flavor. Great video, love you
For the barbecue wrap, I would mix the rice, corn, and half the chipotle mayo together to make the rice creamy and keep all the little pieces of stuff from falling out of the wrap when you bite into it. You can still use the rest of the chipotle mayo to drizzle over the whole wrap before you roll it up or to dip in as you eat, but adding the sauce to the crumbly bits will make for less mess overall 😅
Little hack for yakisoba - you can fry the noodles with just soy sauce and maybe a bit of sesame oil! Very similar flavour with much less effort/ingredients required! My mum would often make it this way if we couldn't find or make the actual sauce!
I enjoy your videos so much! They're so aesthetic and give so much inspiration. And they have defenitely improved my cooking skills over the last year. Thank you for your great work.
Just downloaded your app Sadia and I love the grocery list aspect!!! Makes it so much easier. I picked up enough groceries to make 3 different recipes and just made this yakisoba today with a few alterations and loved it! My coworkers make fun of me because I bring the same lunch every single day so I’m about to level up here, thanks!
I LOVE yakisoba! It's my favourite Japanese food and I usually use mukimame as the protein source and I find that Linguine (flat spagetti) work really well too or flat, thin Udon noodles. I serve it with a little vegan mayo and aonori ( dried seeweed sprinkles) on top for an even more authentic taste😋 I've always used storebought sauce which is vegan but I'm curious to give this homemade sauce a try. Thanks for the recipe!
I am not a vegan but you have inspired me to eat more vegan. you are adorable and everything you have in the channel. Have got your app and eager to do more recipes! Thank you!!!
finally a video to get me out of the "me as a dutch person with my dry bread and cheese vs. fellow international students with a full course meal" situation
One of the things Ive liked and loved about PULs is that they were never for not using plant based/faux meat.. Especially if youve come from being a meat eater most of your life.. The ' I cant even use the fake version crowd'..... U do what ever u need to do to enjoy your being vegan including taking advantage of Faux versions. ❤
I am japanese and yakisoba is one of my favourite food but never made yakisoba sauce myself.. now i have to try. Looks delicious, you really are amazing♡♡
I think we Brits forget how unintuitive it is to pronounce. 😂🙏🏾 Like hearing some 🇺🇸 folk try to say ploughman’s sandwich 🥪 😁🙏🏾🩷 Big love to all. I mean no harm.
So great! Ive been on the lookout for new ideas of what to take eith to work. Sometimes i get disappointed when i open my lunch and its....the sandwich i made myself that morning
Thank you so much for including the outtake with the wrap busting open while rolling it up. I have sometimes wondered if there are secret grocery stores where only food content creators can go shopping for wraps and pitas and the like because they never fall apart in videos... 😉🤣 In my kitchen though...

Hi Sadia and more 😋 recipes for lunch and thanks 👍 for sharing and love 🥰 your video's. It was funny 🤣 seeing Sadia attempting to pronounce Worcester sauce. Love 💞 Sadia & ❤ Rob.
I love your videos! ❤️ something interesting… I’m living in Japan and here soba means ‘buckwheat noodles’ specifically. It’s a naturally gluten free food too and higher in protein which make them a pretty cool noodle! 😎 sometimes buckwheat is mixed with normal wheat too making them semi ‘wheat noodles’ but traditional it’s 100% buckwheat. Also, their colour is more greyish brown here! But, I looked up the noodles used in ‘yakisoba’ and those are actually CHINESE noodles made from wheat flour (and yellow-ish). I guess somewhere this dish must have ‘borrowed’ from other cultures…? Either way, I learnt something new today! I never eat yakisoba in Japan because sadly it usually has meat in it. But, now I’ll try and make it at home using your recipe. Thanks!
Please share what type of containers you use for storing left overs! Particularly what you used for the noodle dish! PS.... thank you for all of the amazing videos ❤
Although considered a vegetable, mushrooms are neither a plant nor animal food. They are a type of fungus that contains a substance called ergosterol, similar in structure to cholesterol in animals.
“Don’t disturb them too much or they’ll fall apart… like me.” Same sis, same.
The mushroom "screaming for help.." :D :D

See, you can wash mushrooms!
@@kayo5291 yes you can. They are 80% water already, not dry sponges. Alton Brown did a whole experiment on Good Eats on washing mushrooms.
