What’s good, new to your channel bro. Just completed the academy on 4/20 next day did Amazon Sunday by myself. Monday I got my 3 days with an OJT then I’ll be thrown to the wolves. Most definitely this job can get to a person. I block out stress and bullshit that most people soak in 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️. You gotta have a positive mindset to work here I see. A lot of negativity that I see comes from people in my opinion that does not do well with challenges or can’t work well under pressure. Not all, but if it was really that bad would people stay for years 🧐🧐🧐🧐. Keep the videos coming bro and be safe out there. Watch out for them dogs or that’s your ass Mr. Postman 😂😂😂😂😂
Enjoyed the video, thanks. I just finished my 2nd vehicle training day, and start academy next week. Ive heard sometimes you can get sent out before academy was over. Though Im goin RCA in NE Ohio. That doesnt sound like a bad 1st day at all!
My first day was 3/52016, and I literally did shadow someone, never forget him, Jack and he was actually my union Steward! Awesome guy!! But I can tell you some stories about the P.O and put you own to some knowledge as well!! The INS and OUTS of the contract, Union, NBA, work comp, u name it!!
Im a cca for about 9 months. Learn the GODDAMN CONTRACT. Get through your 90 day probation shit. (WORKING DAYS) After your 90 days. Stop giving a fuck. Move the mail you're given and clock the fuck out.
Being a CCA how long until you get your first check? Do you get paid for orientation and training? Im wondering if entry level CCA gets paid within 3 weeks? Will the first check be big enough for bills?
What's that postal exam like? I've been running over the road but I'm looking at making a change to being home daily. The research on USPS has been interesting to say the least with some people loving their job and others that can't complain enough.
My first day is today. I'm not liking the no weekend thing. Plus I'm much older than most. I'm trying to use it as an entry to another position. We will see. With all the work experience I do have, I'm still nervous. Just me I guess.
Like every job in the beginning is stressful but i always kept telling my self two things 1.better days would come and second there’s no way some that weights more than is going to beat me. 😅
After your 90days, don’t work past 12 hours, bring back anything you have, for reference look for elm section 432.32, any discipline will be tossed out.
@@Mailman1of1 Thanks a lot for the videos, they're really helpful. Let me ask you... I have orientation for a CCA in two weeks and I'm sort of worried about not knowing directions for anything. I'm stationed about 5 minutes from my house, but I'm really bad with directions in general. Do you think that's something that can be learned over time ? Or do you need to be well versed right from the start ?
First day by myself was ruff because I didn’t know about missorted mail. Luckily I was on a aux route.

@@OMG-si3wnNope. Like he said you gotta learn the contract. CCA's have more pull than people realize.
90 working days or a 120 calendar days. At the end of the day management don’t always play by the rules.

@@mailmanjoeReally? How so? Can you give me all details to take full advantage of being a CCA? How long until you get your first check being a CCA?
Thanks. My first shift starts 4.8.2024.
Hi how many hours are you getting in a week? Is there a week without 40 hours?
@@kiranfarrukh5445 not at all, it’ll be 50-60hrs a week
What kind of drug testing do they give, urine? I have fingerprints I gotta do. I'm nervous

@@Scionprt2k9 The new exam I’m not familiar with, but I was told it’s like a assessment test that Walmart and other retail stores give you.
