The satchel work for me today. The dog bit my satchel instead of my leg. The dog rush out the door. I had no time to use my spray. As the dog was latching on my satchel, it gave the owner a chance to grab the dog's neck. Please think the satchel as just bate.
Don't stick your hand through a door slot. If the dog is far away use the spray. If the dog is close use the satchel then the spray. I have used the satchel so many times it just became automatic. The dog will bite what ever is closest to his face, make it the satchel not your hand. If your on a mounted route with no satchel, use a magazine, parcel or your scanner.
