Thanks for providing the breakfast entertainment this morning. I managed to sneak out of my room while the kids are still in bed and watch you make soap with my cat sitting next to me. That's a lovely start to my Sunday, thank you!
You're just amazing! Your work is outstanding! And you are not only a great artist you are also so funny! 🤣 Love your videos! Follows you and admires - from tiny Israel ☺
So realistic they didn’t need any more detail. You have so Much patience Lisa I just love watching what you get up to not necessarily in order I see this is from months ago, but it’s a great way to relax with a cup of tea while watching Lisa working her little hands with such ease making another creative piece of work . Cheers Lisa
Beautifully done - like always!!! What I appreciate most - is your english how you pronounce. I understand really well!!! Thanks for this!!! and because of this I love your tutorials...
Do you have a video explaining the difference between what soaps that have been through gel phase or not through gel phase look like? I have googled and searched but I'm a visual learner so I haven't found one that has been super helpful to me. You method of teaching is incredibly helpful and I soak up so much from your channel. You are also interactive with your subscribers which is a huge plus in my book for folks that have a fairly large following. I haven't tried a One Pot Wonder yet because when I've thought about doing it, my soap traced pretty thick. This was a great way to see that it is still possible! Thank you so much for a wonderful video!!!
Amazing video! I make soap on my channel and was struggling with a fragrance oil that causes acceleration! One of my subscribers highly recommended this video and she was not wrong. I will be using some of your tips the next time I make that soap!!! Thank you for putting so much information out there! I also found you quite entertaining and you made me laugh several times. Hope you don't mind if I paste your link into my description so that others can find you as well. Keep up the good work and have an amazing day 😊
Lemons always give me a smiley face :) When you poured the yellow batter into the main jug it looked just like lemon curd. The soap turned out so pretty!
I dont have that much patience for the teeny lemons but the technique to make the lemon halves was just brilliant. So clever~! The ticker pour ended up making very DEFINED lines,, I love how it looks folded over on itself. I love it. It came out beautifully.
Hi Lisa, I haven't been on TH-cam a lot lately. I was missing your videos so I popped on today. I really love this technique. Huge payoff for not too terribly much work. And I love your hair. I think it looks great.
oh wow - very well the thickness of your soapbatter... for this design - as you said - it's much more beautiful if its little not so fluid, lets say ;)
Dearest Lisa, thank you again for a wonderful and very detailed teaching video. Specially as I use clays, even when not mix blending a lot, batter tends to thicken up, so good to know this design works well. Beautiful soap, love these colours as I also love citrus smells!
I just love watching your videos Lisa. They are a great source of inspiration for all of us soap makers of the world! Lisa, I have quite a few acrylic molds but getting my soaps out of them isn't always easy. I would be nice if you could make a video on this subject. I'm sure I'm not alone on this hehehe - Best wishes from Australia :)
I think a lot of it has to do with your recipe. I use them a lot and don't have too much trouble, so I'm not an expert if soap gets stuck. I do use sodium lactate in all of my soaps at a rate of 1.32% of my oils, I know that sounds very precise but it's basically the same as 1 teaspoon per pound of oils. I did once forget to put it in and the soap was a complete nightmare to get out. If you struggle, try lining with some acetate sheet, you can get it in A4 sheet easily on Amazon etc, just cut to the size of your sides and base (separate pieces) the lightly wet each bit and that will stick it to the side of the mould, it works well, the soap doesn't seem to go underneath them. The issue with a video is that my soap comes out OK, and doesn't tend to stick, but I will make sure that when I next use my acrylic mould I unmould on camera. Best wishes - Lisa
@@IDreamInSoap wow! Thank you for replying. I have been binge-watching your videos and I love the designs you come up with. You show techniques that I haven't seen in some of the soap-making channels I watch. I'm a fan from the Philippines!
Beautiful soap! And perfect timing-I just got an FO that says it accelerates, but I just HAD to have it. Thank you for all of the tips and tricks for handling it!
Lisa ... seriously how long did it take you to make those sweet little lemons ... a great soap ... very clear instruction on working with an accelerating fragrance ... and wise words for new soap makers .... I was advised the same things when I started making soap, and it has allowed me to really understand how my batter works .... thanks so much 🐝🐝🐝🐝🧼🧼🧼🧼🧼🧼❣️.
Hi Teresa, sorry for the late reply. They did take quite a while, but they were one of those things, where I sat down with something good to watch on the TV and just worked through them, so it was actually quite a pleasant task
Whew.. I was feeling the minor tension getting through that pour.. I just had one pot wonder pour that started to thicken up quick even though the fragrance said no problems..
Another great video Lisa, thank you! I love those nifty plastic pitchers with the rubber rings on the bottom. I am in the US so I don’t know if they would be available here but do you happen to know the brand?
Hi Vicki, thanks so much. I've just been and had a look but unfortunately they don't have a name on them at all, and that are so old I can't remember where I got them I'm afraid. I did a search in my Amazon history, buy they weren't in there :-(

Yes, Lisa! We all MUST remember that the most important step in making a lemon soap is arranging the lemon soap dough embeds in a smiley face!
He, he, yes, I'm glad you see the importance of this step :-)
