The V12 Century motor with the correct exhaust does scream like an old school F1 car. Puts the current F1 engine to shame. But every single detail of this car is jaw dropping and a barn find that has been sat for so many years and only driven so little 1 owner is mind blowing. Also the fact it has cantilevers suspension just like the upcoming Mustang GTD. Damn sick
17:06 That's nuts! It's inches away from actually taking off into a old school le-mans flip fest. Epic build too! Edit: Yes please keep up these in depth vids of some Sema builds, it's way better than many others who are just trying to describe what they see without talking to the builders and actually showcasing everything about them. I'm surprised your not already way past 1mill subs!
Who knew you could make a Century V12 look so amazing. Those velocity stacks are nuts, as are the flares and the rear suspension, I mean what isn't nuts on this build. Sick work all throughout, thanks Larry for another great video.
You are killing it with the SEMA car reviews, Larry. It was smart doing a bunch in the Toyo tent, as they always have the best unseen cars from amazing builders. Thanks for the great content.
just at the end when you mentioned subscribing, I thought to myself "how am I NOT already subscribed to Larry's channel?!?" (I am now subscribed) been watching your videos for a long time and have always loved how authentic they are, I walk away feeling like I was there having the conversation with the owners/builders. every since you did the piece on our friend Andy's green FC drift car I was team Chen. thank you for all you do for car culture & the community Larry, you are a good man.
Yes, great SEMA content, but then again your team has never disappointed. I’m sure it was scary splitting from Hoon when you did but the growth has been incredible.
Yessir, especially Celica stuff. One day there will be an n54 swapped Celica. Underrated race car of all time. We need wangan Midnight to make an episode, rivalries or something like that.
Gorgeous piece... especially love the "big plain weave/tow weave" carbon.... nobody uses it, I had an entire front fairing built for my CBR1100XX in that same tow weave, but it was all dry carbon and looked absolutely mental, from a Japanese company called A-Tech, took months to get after I ordered it, but it was absolutely worth the wait... and I didn't mind that the entire front of my bike was in that weave, while I also had kevlar "dogbone" weave in areas, and more , smaller, plain weave throughout the rest of the bike... the only thing that mattered was it was all Japanese hand laid carbon, and the entire bike's plastics were replaced....including the windscreen, which was from Magical Racing, in regular twill, which surrounded a small piece of "supercoat" acrylic to see through in a tuck ..supercoat was a proprietary iridescent coating, which I needed to match with Dragon Laminates Neo film covering my Magical Racing DRL carbon mirrors (on the turn signal/DRL lens) as well as the front headlight... looked dope 👌🏼
Love you and love your content. As this comment goes into oblivion, An idea to gather more subscribers, Find some odd ball people who arent apart of a scene but love car culture and build their projects on a budget and do some short blips of their builds. You could even tap into your subscribers for this. Some of us are poor but work on what we can. Just a thought. Keep up the great work, You really are an inspiration.
I had a 77 Celica GT but no matter what I did to the 5 speed manual setup with the 20R engine it just sounded loud because the straight though exhaust lol
Was that a hartley built engine or just their billet covers? If was a full hartley build it was a totally missed talking point. They do incredible work including making it a flat plane crank. If so it should sound like a lambo v12
I believe it is the most beautiful V12 celica in the world. I like it !
Quite possibly the nicest Celica build of all time .
Rather have Sarah's
Yessss! Absolutely amazing!
Killer build, and I love these videos.
Great, fresh, and interesting car content again. Thank you.

Bro... You literally have the eye for sick builds!
Beautiful job on this Toyota Celica! Love everything you did to it, very clean.
Who knew you could make a Century V12 look so amazing. Those velocity stacks are nuts, as are the flares and the rear suspension, I mean what isn't nuts on this build. Sick work all throughout, thanks Larry for another great video.
There's a quad turbo +1000hp one in a Silvia drift car in NZ. It's wicked.
Why wouldn't they be able to?
No better way to spend a lazy Sunday morning - coffee and a new Larry vid.
No better way to spend a lazy Sunday morning - a lazy V12 waking up to triple the power
GAWTTT DAMNNN...what a beautiful piece of machine right there
Agreed 💯
What I would do to drive it dayummm
You Sir, hands down have become my favorite Utube car content over this past year. You're killing it Larry!
You are killing it with the SEMA car reviews, Larry. It was smart doing a bunch in the Toyo tent, as they always have the best unseen cars from amazing builders. Thanks for the great content.
Nice to see Hartley, they make beautiful sounding V12s. Can't wait for the Nilu to release.
That is one of-if not THE baddest Celicas I've ever seen!
You have the best way of presenting such works of art!
This is the year of the dragon. Celica are the dragon.
Already subscribed and liked. Also my favorite part is when you guys were talking about his wheelie.

This thing is perfect. I love BRG, it’s my favorite color for a car. The interior is gorgeous. That craftsmanship and fabrication is unreal 🤘🔥
We love the content Larry keep it up!!! We love the standards you set the bar very high!!! Just hurry up and get the million subscribers!!!!
The BEST SEMA coverage by far!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This particular generation celica is my favorite! With Century engine in it, doubled the fun.
Yes, great SEMA content, but then again your team has never disappointed. I’m sure it was scary splitting from Hoon when you did but the growth has been incredible.
Toyo tent always has stupid cool cars
Keep it up Larry!
The Ultimate engine swaps in a Legendary Toyota Celica 😲
Amazing job 😎👍
Absolutely beautiful. Pure art of a build
That is the prettiest car I've ever seen. It should've came like that factory. If I had the money, I would buy one.
*Larry Chen Thank you for your awesome content and skills!!!*
The license plate is fire 🔥
Made me smile as soon as I saw it
Moments of excitement from beginning to end !!!! Great content I had too subscribe . 👍
Insane build!
That thing is going to scream 😍
Big beautiful V12 😎
Too bad they couldn't get the LFA V-10 motor. 😢
@daniellehouse4119 yeah amazing engine, so rare. Even Judd V10s are rare. I was looking for one for another project after I finish my V12 build 😎
@@UKBUILT It's still an amazing machine 😍😍😍
@@daniellehouse4119 100% it's an awesome build 💪 Toyota V12 is legendary 😍
Too bad they didn't CRANK it up! Need to hear it boyz! 😋😋
Crazy little car I would like to see it in action doing some donuts and smoke shows and high-speed passes😁👻😄🫡
Beautiful build 😍 thanks for sharing 👍
I'm building my dream V12 supercar with the OG zonda engine 😎
Sweet lookin car, shows lots of time and effort went into it. Ty for sharing
What a awesome build! The amount of details done on this car are insane and extremely well done. This is definitely one of my favorite builds of sema.
How the hell do you not have 1 million subscribers? I would've thought you had a couple million, you definitely should
Holy fuck. This is a literal grail build for me. First gen Celicas are my favorite. 1GZ is amazing. Holy fuck
Well said!! This Celica is Absolutely stunning!
Love the NZ built Hartley V12 all the way over in the USA beautiful build very unique
there is so much to see I didn't notice the flat light swap until the second watch
Don’t ask the true will love it Larry ❤
Love the SEMA content
Love this! I built a model of the Liftback with the lowly Lexus V8, almost the same green, but different flares like that Jag. This is amazing.
Lowly??? First gen celica with a 1UZ is an incredible combo.
Love it when the pizza place actually makes the motors 🍕 🤘 Definitely my favorite of tread pass this year.
It’s a Gallo 12
Yessir, especially Celica stuff. One day there will be an n54 swapped Celica. Underrated race car of all time. We need wangan Midnight to make an episode, rivalries or something like that.
Oooooo... that's gorgeous!
I love this type of coverage Larry!
Great video and build
I love this car! This thing is Sweet!!!!
The license plate!!! Dead. You sir. Win!

Love the SEMA coverage!
love these contents! would love to see this v12 roar!
LMAO .... "Gallo 12" . That's comical! Cool build!
Another amazing build! Front end, along with the color, reminds me an old Aston Martin.
That’s a super sic ride 🔥🔥🔥💯😎👍
Wish we could have heard this start up!
Gotta love Toyotas. Timeless
This triggers my OLD SCHOOL VIB!!! I remember when teenagers were modifying these to look like HOT RODS in th late 70's & 80's. COOL CAR!!!!
I can't wait to see and hear these SEMA builds actually drive in about 2026.
never knew these celicas were so dope looking until speed academy did one
They look better with stock body

Just perfect
One of my Favorites hands down! 😎
Tastefully on 11 is an amazing expression
It's an amazing machine.
This car was built for something..... Goodwood Festival and Hillclimb Exhibition. I know if I was the Duke I'd be happy to see and hear this.
This is beyond cool...
Are those Hartley billet valve covers from the brothers in New Zealand?
Looks nice
I would have loved to hear a start up of that V12.
I like the individual builds, showcases the builders also, im sure they also really appretiate it.
377K TO GO!! Spec CHEN!
😍😍😍DAYUM😍😍😍
I battle anyone in the comment to tell me that just Toyota build is not the best Bill you have ever seen. This is incredible.
Fire it up
Such an epic build, but I am on the fence about the kit. Not sure about the skirts for this application.
The thing about these 1gz-Fe it’s essentially two 1JZ slapped together. I’ve been researching a build with that motor for years
GOOD MORNING LARRY
Hey @larrychen that's my car 👋 thanks for doing this video 📹 ❤
this made me sub
Behind some rocks? Lol and heck ya do more build interveiws
I had a 77 Celica GT but no matter what I did to the 5 speed manual setup with the 20R engine it just sounded loud because the straight though exhaust lol
When are you coming back to Dallas? I wanna meet you in person!
Please tell me you did a video on Stephen Papadakis's celica at Sema as well 🙏
Loving the content Brother! Are you planning at being at ZCON 2025?
The styling is not for me, but it's certainly spectacular! The V12 is very cool.
The microcuts every few seconds make me want to scream.
Hate it too
get over it
Yeah I understand it’s probably just due to being in such a volatile environment but it’s disorienting as hell.

Wicked
The rifled intake inlets 😩😩😩😩
Larry you need to see the ta22 Celica in Australia owned by Jamie Heritage, +1000hp 1UZ V8 turbo GTR AWD, +300kph. Weapon
I didn't wanna take away too much from the car. Proceeds to take literally everything away from the car
WOT D-FK!!!😮😮😮
2:00 the crashed lfa from a dude who appeared on thatdudeinblue's channel who said he was going to fix appeared in an auction a while back
