My mistake! The video I saw showed the builder of the Miata saying the engine was from a **Gallardo GT3**, not a Huracan GT3 as I said here. I've heard from others the owner was also telling the same lie as the builder so. Details. Point is, it wasn't true!
The Garage Active r32 and r33 are the most amazing GTRs in the world. Literally every single exterior panel on the r32 is carbon. They do amazing work.
Sad that the Miata wasn’t real. I don’t understand why people need to lie.. you look back at the video and they were definitely trying to distract you from looking into the engine bay
The Miata if he spent all the time he put on that cluster actually on the car to run that would of been actually thinking and time and money well spent. But he was more worried about the dash phone bs
Old Jaguars and some Alfa Romeos had inboard disc brakes on irs rear suspension, lots of super old- school hotrod builds used the Jag irs specifically for extra toughness and looks.
Damn bro I missed this channel idk what happened. I remember you wrecked and then I hadn’t seen any videos for YEARS. Then was thinking what was the name of that channel…. Oh I think it was Roads Untraveled… and I was right! I missed this channel and seeing the throwback to you driving those GTR’s I remember that!
just stoked to see another Vancoouver hommie doing so well on TH-cam Im trying really hard im getting there but just stoked to you doing so well come out to toronto next summer , Toronto has a car scene that rvials beverly hills its bonkers everyhting from Ferrari Daytona SP3s to the next day when 3 R32 skylines roll up it would be dope to have ya out here
I'm tired of this 🐃💩 line that gets repeated over and over in some form or another "we say we want it, they build it, then we don't buy it." That is just absolute 🐃💩, and disengenuous as people saying this always somehow forget to mention that when the car is out it gets priced way out of the reach of those who'd want to buy it, often pricing it into competition with better vehicles like if I'm going to pay Porsche money? Why not go with a Porsche and still get a better deal/value? Then even in the rare instances the cars msrp is sensible, they do boneheaded things like limited to 100 to 500 units, or the dealerships take it upon themselves to right this "wrong" and sell it for double or triple. But somehow it's on us for not buying. There are two types of buyers out there in the face of that kind of nonsense. Those decide they want to go the diddy route, go in drop their pants, grqb their ankles and take it, then come out with a car. Then there are those who just go buy something else like a Mustang.
Mate that R33 was just so epic! I miss my 33, sold it about 11 years ago insanely under priced as the US had not opened imports then. It'll be worth $100k now easy, I sold it for $30k 😩😩 Mint video bro, do another like this and Ill sub haha (liked at least) 🤩🤟
Sadly mostly all of the Sema builds are garage queens. They are there because of sponsors. I've challenged some TH-cam builders that claim it's "built for the track" a few years ago and not a single one has seen a track day yet.
You should have spent more time on the 1GZ! I'm scratch building a Shelby 427 Cobra for a 1GZ and we need see more in videos. LOL. References are thin and I'm a total newbie to the JDM engines and haven't found experienced JDM people very responsive to inquiries.
Any RB-swapped Miatas? Or even LS-swapped Miatas? Or K-swapped MR-2’s or K-swapped NSX’s are MY FAVOURITE BUILDS…. Oh and ANYTHING 2JZ in a M3/5 6-speed is CHOICE. If you can’t buy ‘em….. BUILD ‘EM.. the I.C.E is now in its TWILIGHT YEARS IM AFRAID…. Only ‘Specific Interest models/swaps’ are ‘my thing’ these days…. Anything 3-pedals is STILL VALID THO….
Am I the only one that doesn't get excited by Ricers at all? When he was next to the Rolls talking about the r33 I was looking at thr Rollie the whole time, wanted to see thr inside and know more. When i see a skyline im just turned off. As a tuner ricers might be something, but if you're just a car person and driving fanatic like me, then BMW is most exciting, because they have legit interiours and beautiful exteriors, unlike korean cars which look and are cheaply made.
So throughout your time there did you see any ONE MAN BUILDS there? You know the way hotrodding originated. That's what I want to see. Putting a whole team together to build one car is NOTHING to brag about. Show us a one man build. 🤔🤔
Sad that Cobra has a crappy Nissan motor, even if it's a replica, it has no value anymore. You'd be lucky to get scrap metal value for it 💯. SEMA is the biggest show of trash and unfinished vehicles on the planet, it's like walking around in a shiny clean junkyard 😂
You know what was the dead giveaway about the Miata...the cheap ass NRG seats and Chinese turbos. I can't stand lying ass people who think other people aren't educated to know the truth about their cars. If he really had a Lamborghini engine swap, he would have shown it. What a poser.
Yeah I felt like a bit of an idiot afterwards for not poking around a bit more. Although I've seen NRG seats on high-dollar RB and 2J builds before so.. you never know.
13:25 as a 1st gen Celica owner this is the ugliest Celica I’ve seen 😄 the motor is far too forward, interior is ass, flares are horrible, wheels too big. I like to say I respect people’s own builds but I don’t know where the guy was going with this one.
The flares and body definitely left something to be desired, I'll give it that. Engine and suspension setup looked (at least on the surface) pretty solid though. Tough to tell at a show like this.
JDM doesn’t mean made in Japan. It means made FOR Japan. It’s literally in the name of DOMESTIC. it’s by and FOR the Japanese market. You can use the colloquial term, but then you’d be wrong 🤷🏻♂️. Just because people use words however they want , doesn’t mean we should just go with it

The V12 Celica is just amazing!
Sad that the Miata wasn’t real. I don’t understand why people need to lie.. you look back at the video and they were definitely trying to distract you from looking into the engine bay
yeah as i was watching the dead giveaway was the tac only going up to 6 and a half lol... not to mention getting a lambo v10 in a miata with twins...
What are the odds some owner who writes checks was duped into believing the lie?
They lie for exposure and for the likes
If they just went with the small block and it worked would be less of a disappointment.
It was real just had a little secret 😅
The Miata if he spent all the time he put on that cluster actually on the car to run that would of been actually thinking and time and money well spent. But he was more worried about the dash phone bs
Another great video. Missed more than half the cars at SEMA, but glad I was able to see them through your vid.
17:09... uh... why are there lamborghini intake boxes on a v8..? that motor could not fit or mount in that position i would bet money on it...
17:52 odd a v10 only revs out to 6 and a half lmao. no way this build is real.
18:38 maybe I should of let the video fully play through lmaoooo
I forgive you hhaha

If the mx5 really did have a v10 the hood would of been off to show it. The fact that the hood was still on was a bit sus by itself.
The Miata's intake was writing checks that its GM 6.2L couldn't cash.
Mad max p1 might be my favorite build this year hands down 🎉
yup alot of cars arent built for use, but it does show what a shop is capable of if they were to do certain things as a job is that they can do it...
yeah sema is not really a car show, but show cars are there to showcase the aftermarket parts from them manufacturers

tim moceri also did work on the crx ..he has a channel as well
I went to SEMA last year for the first time. Seeing all the content this year is making my heart burn with jealousy
Miata guy could have just said its we put lambo intake on LS for fun

wasn't it just?
My God, that V12 Celica was GORGEOUS. Any idea where we can get more info on it?
There's a couple of 2JZ Skylines in NZ, as well as S15s and S14s and and 70's Celica with 2JZ and 1UZ etc. They swap everything over here...
Sadly mostly all of the Sema builds are garage queens. They are there because of sponsors. I've challenged some TH-cam builders that claim it's "built for the track" a few years ago and not a single one has seen a track day yet.

.......Toyota , ....Cel "EEE" ca!?? 😂😂😂
Came here to rip on him for this also.
@@saltybmxer6977 Dumb Or Does He Just Want to Make It Sound Exotic?
very interesting! thanks for the video
All in a day's work! Thanks for stopping by.
Citroen 2cv's had inboard discs on the front, same as Alfasuds.

That red carbon R33 is gorgeous
You should have copped the turbos, they would never feed a v10 and not a big cc v anything either
That R35 has to be a wrap paint job right? No way they could get that Carbon Fiber to fade in that clean?
5:23 what he was saying?
J swapped CRX is the one
Yup..
Hi Iam Here for The First Time And That is Not My Last Great Show Better Than Some of The Loud English Car Shows Keep up That Good Vibe in Here ;-.)

Show us a one man build. 🤔🤔
I plan on building a 1984 Chevy chevette with GMC AWD turbo 4.3 v6 drivetrain from syclone wide body and so on🎉
toyota need to ditch the boxer engine and go with that 3cyl turbo motor. once they sort out them crapping out 😕
1:05 - I guess you haven’t been to Newport Beach
NICE VID!!!
Didn’t mention Shelby once talking about that cobra….
wait, what 2jz awd toyota wagon are they talking about?! my girlfriend needs a car and that would be sick lol
The Altezza Gita from Japan only fits that description.
Miata was cool just should have said they made a Lambo manifold work would bin still ok smj

the flares are more of a bozo style being that big. also the wheels are that big to fit the flares used.
@@ArchangelJuicy they definitely don’t look Kyusha,Boso or Shakotan at all. It’s more 80’s American style.
If it cant drive why did u bring it idc how good it looks its not finished leave it at home😂
The car should have to run/drive to be in service sema
Eww that’s a disgrace for putting v8 on v12 intake for clout
fake lambo lol
Big boomer vibes in the comments. Lol.
No a left handed Japanese car is STILL a JDM car. It's still built and from Japan so it doesn't matter. Stop that crap.

Sema is bulls#$& the cars are all trailer queens 🤬🤬👎🏻
