You're in a class by yourself Karl...for my money, you have no peer when it comes to this level of production value while going solo!! Mind blowing 😮. Thanks again!
Super appreciate hearing that. I try very hard to get a bunch of footage, then the edit process takes over. You guys make it all worthwhile ❤️👌. Karl 👍👍
Ha! My eldest son and I did the Ice Lakes hike last October (we are from Georgia) coming over from the Grand Canyon. I couldn’t get over the shade of blue on the main lake. Just mesmerizing… . And the aspens were an electric yellow. It even spit a little snow on us, and it was the early part of the month. Karl, I think you must have some mountain goat 🐐 genes in those feet and legs of yours! Always so sure footed on the rock and scree. Love watching you tackle those scrambles with such ease! And, of course, the cinematography is enthralling. Thanks for taking us down memory lane!
Of course Aamon! What a wonderful time that must have been for you guys! Those family memories are indeed priceless. Thanks again for the kind words! Karl 👍👍
Great putting all that footage together. Using the drone was a really cool way to capture the climb and decent. Awesome views and thanks for sharing.😀👍
Hey Buddy! You know I always appreciate your feedback and support. You KNOW how awesome these areas are and that's cool! Thanks again, Karl 👍👍 PS - how's the drone piloting coming along?
@@KarlDeckerPresents Working on my FAA 107. Drove Imogene Pass last week and got footage of Tomboy. Also got footage of Ophir Pass but the hand landing was a little sharp. My finger has now recovered. Always a learning process.
Thanks my friend! I was able to take my time since I camped closer than usual for a climb, that always makes things way easier with the shooting and narrative. What an area!! Karl 👍
Super nice Karl! you just rolled through this like butter and so was your filming. Just beautiful! Grants a beauty for sure. Looks like you are about to roll up the season too but the flowers are still way cool even with the almost freezing temps. at night. Thanks for another great trip!
Good to hear man, happy you liked it! It was a short round trip with the camp at the lake, but sections were challenging. I have a couple cool overnight trips set up, including this weekend in the Vail area, so not quite done yet. Karl 👍
You're top of the crop for CO climbing/scrambling videos featuring peaks less traveled. I've watched some of these multiple times as I dream about the coming climbing season(s). At points in the past, I've spent hours searching for beta on interesting San Juan peaks, many times to no avail. Your channel is a huge benefit. Thank you.
Thanks! I'm really glad to hear that, my time spent researching these peaks has paid off. I'm ALWAYS interested in what you might find as well. Please share if you find an Epic Route! Maybe we could do one together sometime?
Great perspective. Some of the best vistas in the San Juan’s. Been over Grant Swamp Pass many times, but never on the Summit. Thanks for taking me there.
Thanks again my friend I always appreciate your support! I'm actually in Vail now, preparing for a couple days of high altitude work. More to come... Karl 👍👍
Great stuff as always, Karl! Such a majestic landscape and tremendous terrain to be your playground! Did 5 "easy" 14ers myself a couple weeks ago, race this Saturday. Thanks much for the inspiration!!
@@KarlDeckerPresents - Thanks, Karl! Did Cameron, Lincoln, Bross, Grays (from Argentine), and Sherman. Fell coming down Bross on day 1, so proud to get the others done, was hurting for sure. Wanted to do Ruby to Gray's, but was too much after the fall.

Yeah your vids are excellent. Great job!!
I appreciate that! Thanks 👍!
The transition between the virtual terrain and the drone shot that show’s the lake is boss!
Thanks for noticing that! Blending those worked out really well, appreciate it, Karl 👍👍

Yeah the wildflowers were out in full swing!
Fantastic, BRO !! 🙂
