Over 200 9as. That is a monumental achievement. Not just in athletic terms but also in terms of supporting the sport in general. Validating all these climbers that came before, realizing or repeating their vision, opening new projects, bolting. He truly is the greatest of all time.

Climbing is my life passion. I fucked up my shoulder bench pressing and now I can do one pull up and I'm in pain for 2 weeks. Requires surgery to fix, but the surgery is 50/50 make things better or worse but it 100% make my range of motion less, I wouldn't be able to reach overhead on my left side. I can deal with the pain, but I'll never have the mobility and strength again. As a climber I consider in shape to mean my Back and Arms are at their strongest point in my life, every week I should be stronger or bigger. Now I can't I'm getting weak and small and I hate it.
Hey, man. Sorry to heart about that. Hope that that surgery will go well if you decide on it. And don't worry about not getting as strong as you could have gotten, you will always be able to get as strong as you can. Whether you get injured or not, you can always become better, you can always set a new goal or try to challenge yourself everyday. So try to do that. Have a good one@@isaarunarom7830
@@uncommonsimon5775 I was referring to the Terranova (8C+) boulder problem in Czech Republic. Loved the honest conversations you had with the first ascensionist regarding the method/grade. You're really setting a standard of conduct with this kind of content. Great video!

It's funny, 15 years ago competition climbing wouldn't have made so much influence, but I almost forget what its like seeing Adam put out these incredible outdoor climbs. With the Olympics over, maybe we can see a revival of outdoor climbing focus instead of everything being competition focus.
Your a legend, I can't imagine the disappointment, but it does not tarnish what you mean to the sport. I really enjoyed the vulnerability and honestly here. Great format!
If there was a climbing video game, it would be a tall, difficult task to climb 200+ 9as. Adam did it in real life like a beast before the age of 32. This is so beyond impressive
Amazing! Before you have your explanation, I wondered if you were doing the your as expected as the get/dark area looked untouched. I can't wait to see you climb again with Seb.
Its kinda funny hes climbing harder stuff than I likely ever will but also the commentary is extremely relatable. I appreciate knowing the worlds best are also like 'wtf wheres the next hold this looks impossible?'
Adam got to a point where his resume is so insanely great that he could release us a 500 page diary of his 200+ hard ascents :D I already got the photo book, I could really read a detailed beta/tips book now! Great video, glad we are back to this after the Olympics!
Now that Olympics has passed, you can come to Brazil to send the three 9a's and the 9a+ Felipe Camargo has put up last year and, of course, put up some harder routes for the new generation from Brazil and South America
Adam, congrats on the Olympics. I know that you probably fell short of where you hoped to end up, but I’ve never cheered harder for someone in a sporting event at the Olympics than I did for you, and I’m American! You should be extremely proud, and I hope to see you again, 4 years from now, trying to continue to compete!
I love that with the voice over it let you think that is going to fall and after a bit he is like "Naaah I was lucky enough to go through" ahaha just Adam Ondra
One of the most impressive aspects of this level of climbing is how you're willing to delay clipping. I find I'm held back when leading by wanting to clip as soon as possible rather than when it will be most efficient. Takes a lot of discipline, trust in yourself and no fear of falling.
Yup, love me a solid 9a+ too, Adam… guess i oughta count mine too… IN MY DREAMS! 🥹😂😂😂 This is why there’s a lot of “AO” in GOAT! Beautiful send both physically and in cinematography 🙏🏾

Crazy to think that between me and Adam Ondra we've climbed over 200 9as.
😅
😂
He’s just the most pleasant person. The climbing aside I really enjoy his positive outlook on everything
Totally agree. He has inspired me to find the courage to do things I feared.
I feel bad for kinda being happy olympics training is over and we can finally see Adam in his natural element...
Keep up the fantastic content!
They nerf Adam in the olympics. He can't scream. That's like 50% of his power.
