The fact that the auto generated English subtitles reads the idle as “music” is proof that there’s nothing quite like the sound of American muscle.

Yeah I know right, it only took 3 minutes of a 5 minute video to get to the noise we wanted to hear. And no merchandise plug, screaming for subs and likes. She sounds wicked, can't wait for that turbo whistle.

This is what doing things right looks like, all the prep work and attention to detail is why this is by far the cleanest build I've seen. And I love how you're taking it one step at a time and not rushing it, dialing in every aspect as the build continues. Love your channel dude keep it up please!

@@Four_Eyes Your engine setup is simular to what I want to do, but I want to stay n/a. I like high revs and want to model my mustang like the the old boss 302, cobras and gt40s of the 60's. Im road race/canyon carver guy. I could by a newer boss but I love our body style and its paid off. I'm good 😆.
Did you have any codes after the install?
@@nickhoydilla8879 yeah I did. I had 2 tunes from Bama, but neither cleared them. I then got tuned by Lito and he cleared all the codes and she runs better and has more horsepower. The codes I got were for delayed signal from the o2 sensors back to the ecu. That can be fixed with a good tune.

I keep forgetting that 05-09 were s197s lol I have a 2012 and mine is also s197 the bastard child nobody wanted after the 5.0 came out

best sounding Ford v8? My e92 m3 and 2015 cammed Ls3 Camaro sound better in my opinion. But to each there own.
@@CR-te7hn you just compared it to two non Ford V8s.. I have a cammed LS3 with headers, x pipe and corsa exhaust, nasty as hell. I still liked the tone of my 4.6 2v with Borla Exhaust and and X pipe more

Love the build man I’m trying to make 800 hp on my 2007 mustang gt and you’ve given me a lot of good ideas and hope that it can be done.
With forged internals and the right cams and lots of boost you can achieve it pretty easily. It just takes a proper built car to do it reliably and it last!
at the end of the day you’re going to spend close to 10k, i got a 2005 making close to 500whp on a 125 shot and cams headers intake etc. but to make a lot of power with this motor it’s not worth it. it’s better to get a coyote 1 or 2 gen with the trans for close to 10k that’s what i’m thinking of doing with my 05. another thing is the transmission the tr3650 it’s not gonna handle more than 500trq before it breaks.
@@AxelJLopez-br4um you're exactly right. Somewhere not too far north of 600 and the block will split clean in half.

A 4.6 iron or aluminum can handle 1000+ plenty of guys pass 600 hp

And the level of improvement in your video editing skills and your presentation is absolutely phenomenal. I’ve legit never seen that editing trick at the end. I was in the 3 valve game, got out of it (later than I wish I had) and also was a little disappointed with the motor. This guys videos are awesome though and it’s cool to see someone build up a high hp 3 valve

My god, it's a thing of beauty. Just got my high mileage but very well maintained 2006 GT Premium from a family friend. It's my first 'Stang since my 95 GT right after college 20 years ago. It's stock with Flowmasters, and for now that's good enough and sweet enough for me.
That is one of the best looking mustangs I've ever seen . You're going to be a freakin master mechanic before all of this is done . Amazing !!!

If you haven't already, the fuel return line in the pump hat assembly needs to return all the way to the bottom of the tank. If the high volume of fuel returning is allowed to return above the fuel level in the tank, it will aerate the fuel and cause a lean out under high power.
The amount of detail in this car and just the effort in the video man good shit keep up the good work

Ive had my 06 since high school and always planned to go LS route once the engine goes.. You may have changed my mind sir. Props on the build its almost too clean haha. Excited to see what's in store next
LS definitely a better engine and much easier to make power out of.
@@Four_Eyes no doubt about that, just love the sound of the 3v. How many miles do you have on your block? Im at 115k (bought at 22k). So building the motor I have now probably isnt the best decision. Will have to look around and price things out once it goes. LS will definitely be the cheaper route, but require much more fab. Once done though, the LS modification will be much simpler in the long run

I bought a 2006 windveil blue gt a year ago and saw your videos back then. I just found you and subbed. She has 144k miles and needs top end and transmission work. I've been back and forth on selling it building it. I think im going to build it and follow a similar path you have took.
not worth getting ported heads, if you're doing it yourself, i would: get forged internals, gt500 dual fuel pump (direct fit), t56, and a procharger. that'll get you to ~700whp on pump gas for about $16k.
Never thought I'd like the sound of a 4.6 as much as the coyote 5.0. But here we are with this beast.
