No Nick, you did it. Your content earned your subscribers. People have a choice to hit that subscribe button, they don't need to hit it to watch your content. They hit that subscribe button because your content is so good that they want to see more. Good content makes good subscription numbers. Excellent job Nick. Cheers
I concur, content is fab. It's pro values with excellent choices of said content, presented in a relaxed but informative way, I can't get enough. Here's to the 1/2 million subs, which i'm sure won't be too long away!
Or maybe Nick could come to the IFA in Berlin this year (consumer electronics show) and give a tour on their huge exhibition booth. Maybe throw in Samsung, Siemens and LG for good measure ;-). Could temporarily rename the channel to Applianceholic as well.
I think they might charge admission for a factory tour, even if it was invitational. I looked around the Miele USA website. The retail price, just for ranges (stovetop w/oven underneath), starts at US$5,699.00 and tops out at US$14,699.00. (!!!) I had to clean my spectacles and look again to ensure I read correctly. Yup...sure did. I'm unsure from their site what justifies a price tag about five to ten times higher than [insert other home appliance brand here]. I was looking at the 'Details' page for one of the almost US$15k models. The top of the page bears the legend, "Free shipping on online orders over $25 within the contiguous US." LMAO That's good to know. ;p
Again, Nick, it is US, the viewers who get the most benefit. You take us places we could never, otherwise, go. Always willing to share your lifetime of boating experiences and vast knowledge of boats and their "pieces" puts you above the rest. Years of photographing and filming yachts lets us get right to it - without trickery, unrelated music or post production voice overs. You, literally, take each of us along in every video. Brilliant. Thank you somehow seems a poor payment for such value - but at the moment, that's all most of us have. So in a way, you're getting all we have to give - a fine bargain, sir.
Nick congratulations. It is You, your style, honesty, humbility and humor along with the content that has made us become devoted fans of yours. You have honorable principles that I admire when it comes to filming, content and your values. Shows intregraty. Something that money cant buy. Your doing a marvalous job. You are only begining to reap what you yave sowed. More is to come. Enjoyed this Q & A sesson. Its been nice to learn more about you and your history. Thankyou for sharing it with us. Till your next vid, be it a boat, waterfront property or a car, stay safe.
Congratulations Nick! Hearing this 16:53 - what about a visit to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard? Aquaholic tours of HMS Alliance (sub), HMS Warrior (1860) and HMS Victory (1765) ... "Deck, cabins, gunports - the lot!".
Star water, good suggestion. Nick - I may be able to help with this. I manage a key team in Portsmouth Naval Base and deliver a service for the Historic Dockyard. Can't promise anything and filming in PNB will be out of the question but some behind closed doors on Victory, Warrior, Mary Rose ect may be something they are open too.
Congratulations Nick well deserved....particularly enjoyed hearing that the boat builders are contacting you now rather than you having to chase them...!! The power of 100,000 subscribers I guess..
I would love to see some tours of retired naval vessels, or whatever they'll show you on the new ones. Might be a bit hard to get on one, but I'd love to see a video like that
Make no mistake. The one take method is THE difference between you and all other yacht content creators. It feels organic and I pray you don’t compromise on that as your channel grows! Best boat channel there is!
Congratulations Nick, another TH-cam success story, 100,000+ subscribers well deserved! Very much enjoy watching your boat tours, have rewatched your Cranchi 78 Settantotto tour about 12 times now.
This story about Princess really warms my heart. Thanks for all the tours on the boats. As they are a dream for you they are a dream for us. And you share them with us. And any of them is a beauty what sends a ray of light in to somebody's life when he is just looking on it and starts a little daydream.
The mad thing is, I still haven’t watched the Miami Vice boat video! I started watching this channel by chance, I’m not a boating enthusiast, but I am interested in good design and use of space. What keeps me watching is Nick’s no nonsense, yet enthusiastic presentation and filming. The boat is the star, and Nick really puts the viewer onboard.
Just a regular guy getting the chance to tour boats that most of us can only dream of. Your knowledge, personality, humor and even your flubs during filming make this the best channel for information on new and previously owned boats. We are looking at upgrading from our euro 40 footer and love to see what we can get in a few feet more. Congratulations on 100k.
Congratulations Nick , I started watching your channel last year after heart surgery , as an old shipwright it pleased me no end . We're heading towards boating season here in France and I've ordered a kayak .... " If you're floating , your boating " love that .
Nick - this is why you've got 100k subscribers and growing. Your engagement, your candour and just being a hell of a nice guy. I cannot think of another channel that freely and honestly engages with your subscribers in the personal way that you do and seeing the 'behind the scenes' Nick just makes it a better experience for all. Just this one video says it all.
Congrats! And keep up the good work. Glad to hear that now the customers know and contact you and not the other way around. Have gone through that in my business as well, took me about 6 - 7 years, I know how to appreciate that. :-)
Well, please accept my congratulations for your success with this stream. Been following you for about a year now and have been thoroughly entertained by your tours. All the best my friend!
You deserve all the success you've had! I was never into boats, I've never been on one aside from the docked Queen Mary, but your channel has changed that. Love all of your videos and really can't wait for many more!
Thanks Nick, I enjoy nothing more than waking up in the morning (Vancouver, Canada) and watching your boat tours! Hope there's a 1 million subscribers video in the future. Jamie H
Nick old chap reading the comments below sums you up! Your a gent who loves boats and boating! And thanks to your lovely videos, interest, and knowledge you've got a great following my man! To the future of Aquaholic may she keep sailing :-)
Congratulations on 100k! A very well deserved milestone! A tour of Silver Fast (or any of Silver Yachts’ vessels for that matter) would be just incredible! A little fun fact: you can find Silver Fast on google maps at their yard in Henderson, WA if you’re in 3D mode. You can also find another of their yachts (I think it is Dragonfly) on the 3D map in Brisbane!
THE SWALLOWS! I about died laughing. Well done Nick. Also, I would love to see some older boats. I don't know if any of those Princess yachts from the 70s are around still but it would be really interesting if you did some tours of retro boats and showed what 70s-80s, etc. luxury looked like and talked about what features and technology was cutting edge at the time. I love your channel and I'm excited for future videos!
Congratulations on 100,000 subscribers. Thanks for the videos and for today's insight into you and your life :) Instead of Britannia, you could tour Gloriana. I see it round here every now and then, and they love the publicity!
Nick... an idea. Maybe you could do a few videos on the effort to maintain a bigger boat. People see the cost to buy and the fun factor... but what is the amount of effort and cost, does it take to upkeep those boats? I’m not talking about the super yatchs, but say a couple owning a boat. Congratulations again.
I can’t believe how fast your channel is growing please keep the good work up As I write this your already 101k already good on you Nick well done.🍾🍾😉😉
Congrats on the 101k subs. I'm pretty new to you but have loved boats for ages. Which is daft considering that I live almost as central to England as one could ever hope to live.
American here. Love your channel and watch it fairly religiously as a bit of escapism. I'll probably never buy a power boat, however I'd love to buy a sailboat one day. So adding my vote for a few more sailboats. I really enjoyed the day sailors you recently featured. Cheers and best wishes.

what i love about Aquaholic, is the lack of stupid music like Boat Tube
Lets add it
No fancy editing that make the viewers lost track for the live experience for the detail point of view for every part of the yacht
