@@umbear15 do you actually see the lights flashing? as I just got my 2020 and there are no lights in that section...... I thought they were not visible to the naked eye..... I didn't realise you could turn it on or off?
Absolutely great video on the cold air intake! Very informative! I want to get one for my 22’ m340 but they don’t ship to California, is there any way around this? I want one so bad 😩
1. If i want to revert back to stock, does it come with another hose clamp or do i need to find an after-market one? 2. What about maintenance of the MST air filter, does it need to be replaced or can be washed? Video is great but please cover the whole life cycle and maintenance
There’s a stock snorkel that goes through the front bumper and dumps right to where the air filter is inside this enclosed box (MST filter). This is how the stock setup is, so you leave that when installing the MST intake

Are there any performance benefits with open air intakes like the MST vs closed air intakes? is there any benefit besides the sound?
Typically the only add is really sound with an open intake system

Random question; what's the red flashing light thing in your instrument cluster right above the M340I logo?
That’s the active attention sensor. It scans your face to make sure you are paying attention to the road. It can be turned off in the settings.

Where does the airflow come from to the airfilter? There is no nozzle conneckted to it?

Pretty sure it just adds sound. The stock airbox is sealed. This allows hot air to get in.

Oh yes! The stock air box is restrictive in comparison
