@@FullBoltOnGarage wow thats crazy price increase!! Still good video i was planning to do this but no 540i video only 340i , and them dont have that sound chamber thing… thanks and keep up video for us g30 owners 😘🔥
Please do not use power tools to tighten your band clamps. You'll crush the inner piping. You can literally see the MAF sensor tube starting to collapse as you crank down on the band clamp at 5:34.
Yes it will suck hot air and on b58 engines it will pull timming.you can do the cone filter but with closed box you will lose little bit of sound but worth not loosing power.for me im pushing 700 hp with drop in filter and stock airbox and everything works fine.
Are taking off all the harnesses necessary or was that just to have more room to work, just got my mst intake delivered today looking thru the directions and nothing about removing any of the harnesses, thank you for the video though brother !
Hello…can you list the parts I will need. Pls.? After said all done, what outcome should I expect?? More Sound through turbo intake? Pls. I’ll be Waiting your reply. Thanks.
@fullboltongarage I finally installed my intake pipe and no matter what I did, I didn't get a click. Thoughts? I have everything back together with the bms maf pipe bolted to the stock intake box bottom and the whole section of pipe doesn't move much if at all.
Another quick video to save money ✌️
But Bro this total cost 240-250 not 175 🧐
@BmwSinceKid when I purchased mine over a year ago that's what I paid for everything..I'll edit it now!

Being an open intake in the engine bay wouldn’t this still suck in hot air? What IATs are you seeing w this compared to stock air box?

Great video thank you. Amazon says the maf adapter is no longer available. Do you have another recommendation?
do you not suggest the BMS intake?
Thanks for the video. Would you not be able to connect that aftermarket tube to the stock airbox to keep the heat out?

Hi bro the maff adapter is no longer available can you help me with it pleasd
intake pipe only from ftp is 328 euro over here :(
I just got the BMS intake and it came with a blue reusable filter. Are you saying I should should trash the blue filter?

Have you used the little extension that comes with the ftp inlet pipe? The one that goes into the ccv hose
No need for that piece. The stock hose will snap in directly into tge ftp pipe
You are a god
Much respect 🙏
Does it work for a 530e 19?
Thanks again
Always welcome✌️
Would it be the same for the b46?
yes
Is this a g30?
Yesir it is
Useless, just a sound and lost hp
Agreed. Another major reason why companies shouldn't sell at over $300+
@BasicSnow open box and heat
Why would you lose HP?
