Mine stop reading the sd card and today after I did a windows update and a minor Asus update in the Asus live i put it back in then it popped up working like nothing happened. Weird idk guys 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏿♂️
You realize in your video you didn't attempt to update the card reader driver... You updated the SSD driver. 🤦 The card reader driver is located under "Memory technology devices" and it's called "Genesys Logic PCIE card reader device".
Every video that I seen is just showing you how to do the basic steps before sending it in for repairs. When the micro SD card is not being recognized by Windows or the device. That means the SD card slot is bad. If you 've put the SD cards and a different computer and it works it's not the card. It's the SD card slot or the fuse that gives the card reader power. This is a common problem. You have to send them into Asus for repairs. Some generic 1 TB microcards work better than some of the scan disk but but has slower download speeds Some 1tb branded micro sd cards does cause device to run very slow and cause issues not recommed for use on the device. Windows updates updating driver reintall driver doing all bios updates non will work.

my sandisk wont work , it used to work , I tried another sd card and it works....
SD cards suck on this device. It gets hot, makes your device slow. Just upgrade to an internal and save yourself some hassle.

All you have to do is format your sd card and asus will recognize it again (full format) I just fix mine this way

You come try the cmd prompt. Unfortunately my ROG killed to sd cards. Time to take it to bestbuy.
My Rog just says failure to format when I try to force it
