Never knew additional Munro's have been added lately and looked a very comfortable sleep in your van. You were right about the weather and what a great trail to follow, straight from the parking lot, although it did get a lot more difficult later on, so just as well yo were in the shade. The view at 10:36 was stunning - what a view indeed, mind you, your lunch stop view was pretty special too! The beast in front of you looked a killer, especially in the heat but respect for doing it and with a steep decent to come too. Great days hiking but looked a tough one too, cheers Alan
My mother-in-law's final Munro in 2009. Brings back good memories of her and the day. It poured that day but glad to see you had good weather and views. Thanks for uploading, Linda. ATB.
Great stuff Linda 1st time iv seen anyone do this in reverse or is it reverse 😂😂 your 1st ascent is actually a really tough descent what a great mountain 1 of my favs cannot wait to get back on top of this little cracker ⛰ Oh The Buachaille The Buachaille ⛰😍
Thanks David, it a bit quieter to do it in reverse, I had the 1st summit all to myself for a while. There were hoards of walkers coming the other way. 👍
@@LindaOutdoors Congrats to get 282 👏 was watching your final CMD earlier this morning a great mountain with stunning views of the north face of Ben Nevis which a lot of people never actually see how good does it feel to be up there on a nice clear day ☀️ ⛰⛰⛰ ps i was on top of Bidean nam Bian while your were on CMD if i knew it was your final I’d have given you a wave 👋 congrats some achievement ⛰👏
Not another Munro round for sure. 🥵 Long distance trails & some of the smaller iconic hills I’ve not had a chance to do, especially Suilven. Looking forward to repeating some Munros too. 👍
Better to be sure Linda 🤔 interesting but sensible ascent route 🥾 you certainly got a fabulous day for it 🌞 I loved the silhouette part at the start of the walk 😀 outstanding views from Stob Dearg 🏔 is it the Inn Pinn and the CMD you have left then 🤔 atb Brian 👍
Hi Linda, thank you ever so much for sharing this walk. The Buachaille was my Mums favourite mountain in Scotland. Me and Dad climbed it in her memory last August in very similar conditions to what you had. We went up the way you came down, my god it’s tough and pretty dicey at certain stages, although the rewards are just stunning. 😀⛰🥾🏴
I can see why it was your Mum’s favourite. ❤️ I have to say the path has been significantly improved since I climbed it last in 1992. I remember having to climb up loose scree which was hard going. Glad you & your Dad got a good weather day too. 👍
Is that you showing off our beautiful country again, what you like... Thanks Linda 😊 xx
