Would sugest you edit the two in very short segments so the comparison is immediate & the viewer does not have to do it for themselves which is tiresome. Good track for presentation.
Came for the speakers stayed for the dude on the Sax.. Bro killing it. O yeah, and it seems like so far I don't care for the sound of Bose so guess I'm still on the look out. Seems like I'm not gonna find anything better than running off a 1200w Amp with Yamaha speakers. Just want to downsize but it's such a drastic shift in sound.

I do agree that the Edifier is the winner when it comes to the sound, about the same on some aspects of the music, yet no contest on other aspects of the music. It’s my preference for the Bose, little black boxes, with enough style to make a clean presentation, instead of the larger speakers. The price is what swings the results for me. If someone had a different setup and situation. Then it might be different.

the bose will suffer from edge tearing of its driver because it is using foam edge unlike the Edifier w/c is using rubber edge 😉 Edifier will last for a long time if longevity of the product is concerned 😁
I have the bose they dont get very loud honestly. Maybe he had them both at 60 percent of their max volume. I bought the klipsch pro media 2.1 system from cons for a hundred dollars a few months ago. They destroy the bose in every aspect. The bose were a bad buy for me personally.
@@rayray3643 i just got the bose companion 3 and am actually surprised at how loud they get, great speakers for the size and obviously for those who don't want a big bulky subwoofer and more wires hanging around. Can't recommend them enough.
@@Pingaheimer the funny thing is now that I have gotten a little bit more into audio I actually really appreciate the Bose Companion 2 they disappear and soundstage really well. They are some of my favorite speakers to listen to now that I know how to use them I don't know why but I actually thought they would be loud and when I first started getting into speakers all I cared about was Bass. Now that I know that's not everything I really enjoy them quite a bit.
Unless my Ears are playing tricks on me , the Edifier sounded more full with a punchy low end, but the Bose sounds more transparent with that crystal clear sound..in the end i'll go with whats more wallet friendly...Edifier wins for me !!
This is not really a comparison, your comparing bookshelf speakers to a set of generic computer speakers made by Bose.. it's a night and day difference in product so the sound will also be night and day different.
Thank`s for the video. This Jimmy Sax is just phenomenal!!! I already have the Bose boxes and I am very satisfied. Of course the Edifier boxes are better! But: They are twice as big, have an extra tweeter and cost twice as much as the Bose. For that price and the footprint, the Bose boxes are unbeatable.
The bose companion 3 are the best speakers i've found in terms of size and sound.... for people who have room to spare, sure get something better. But if you want something that doesn't take up a lot of room and will give u great sound, the bose companion 3 can't be beat.

@@AxemanMessiah - I happen to own both, my friend. Though I did buy them used at different times off of FB Marketplace. Paying $135.00CAN for the Companion 20’s & $50.00CAN straight up for the 3’s. And honestly, even though the 20’s cost much more & are built like a mofo’in tank, my ears still happen to prefer the 3’s. To me having the much “cleaner” overall sound, as opposed to the 20’s that crush you with an ungodly amount of bass until your ears just cannot take it anymore. And or whatever you are listening to at the time comes to an end.

You'd have to be deaf to assign a win to bose here, just hear the saxo ffs, the way it hits you straight in the face on edifiers, and how recessed it sounds on bose. Also pay attention to the distinction between various instruments while being played on edifier, and hear them all-together on bose. While there are definitely worse sounding speakers than bose, bose's main problem is that they just aren't priced well, the sound they make or the feature set don't make up for 100 $.
Yes the in your face with R1000t4 might create some listening fatigue after some time so I went a little further by replacing both yellow driver units. I am happy with what I did. I am the kind of listener that if I can improve it I will without destroying anything.
Bose 2 such a tiny speaker but sounds magnificent.. Edifier is the best in the market at the moment.

Comparing these two sounds, Edifier is better. But Bose is very compact and lovely
