    You play way more aggressive than I do and I’m definitely picking up some tips 😂

      @@BluffaloSam any books or online content you recommend in regards to aggressive playing?

      @froy98 I learnt via upswing poker, pretty much any training site will work, but I only have first hand experience with that one, so can only recommend upswing.

    13:10 Nice turning AJss into a bluff!

    I also gotta say it's pretty wild you called down the A2cc hand vs pot sizing on the river, but then folded turn to under 33% pot in the AJ hand. Makes me think you're not thinking about pot odds and how your price determines how much of your range you should filter down. Especially if your read is this guy is aggressive, he can have the same hand, or worse. Not saying you made an awful fold either, but your thought process is pretty inconsistent.

      After this session, when I reviewed hands I realized I was not at all keeping track of the pot size. Didn't like my play for quite a few hands after looking at stack sizes/bet sizings. Definitely something I need to improve on in this deeper games. the 87hh was definitely a call vs 1/3 sizing, I think I still call A2cc vs pot size. first AJ hand, I definitely let go vs turn bet, and the 2nd AJ hand OTT it's definitely a call, but I'm not going to have a call turn fold river range vs a super aggro opponent, you pretty much decide on the turn if you're going with it (assuming blank river ofc)

    In a rec game like this just 3! the turn with A2cc. River is a must fold vs sizing. It's just never a bluff and your range actually is majority 8x after bet, bet/call.

      A player capable of narrowing hero's continue range to alot of 8x wouldn't check/raise 87 on the turn. I think when villain has a strong hand, he is blinkered and only playing his hand. I wouldn't be surprised if he plays K high flush the same way.

      I agree that a 3bet on turn is good though as villian probably has lowest bluffing frequency on table. I think hero is too overly concerned with playing balanced in this weak lineup. Hero probably has the best hand reading skills at the table.

      3betting postflop is something I'm trying to work into my game for these live lineups. It's something that's rarely done online, and I'm still adjusting to work in more exploits in my game.

      @@AT-bw4cm Yeah, I do like a 3bet OTT. I need to start playing my strong hands more unbalanced and more aggressively IMO.

      @@BluffaloSam I love this game. Better players will notice your exploits you can even use that against them. Keep up the good work.

    Why do you bet larger in ep? You have a much narrower and stronger range.

    • @BluffaloSam
      @BluffaloSam  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Old thinking for preflop was larger sizes for fewer hands, your range is stronger, therefore you can put more money into the pot, same thing postflop if your range is very narrow, eg repping fullhouses+ you're going to use very large sizings. However with the introduction of solvers, it's counterintuitive, but smaller sizes in EP as you are playing OOP and the solvers like smaller pot sizes as when you get deep, IP will overrealize their equity. Then larger sizes as you get closer to the button.

    16:33 I feel like that spot is overbluffed. And his bet on river is so small, that it’s printing if you fold so many flushes yourself on the river. Imo that’s a call in live poker, purely cause you only need to be right around 20% of the time
