These downswing videos are real, really appreciate you showing the good n bad times of being a poker player
B, you are patently one of the most admirable poker players today. I’ve been a hardcore hold’em player since 95. I’ve been arrested and had guns pulled on me in illegal poker rooms in TX…where I reside. Keep the energy in the game, you’re my fav!
totally random thing to say
You gonna run an illegal room you need to have cops actually play in the game. Ya you heard me, I used to play in an illegal room in Minnesota. We had the county sheriff and a few customs agents play in our games. They let us stay open and just said don't have cash on the table, you need a banker and players need to purchase chips for cash games.

Dick move man.
Rampunt punts again. Your recurring error over the years I have been watching you is assuming that your opponents bluff as often as you do. Most non-pro players would not bet $7,500 on the river unless they had a monster. Assuming or concluding otherwise is an expensive way to find out.
Exactly, it wasn't just a FH, the guy could have had 22 pre flop.. He must know RAMPAGE in the most is a non believer... So he knows if he over bets flop, turn, river... Making it look like a bluf.. He will be paid.... And lastly... He could have been betting with AK... the King comes, but RAMPAGE is lost by this point... Does not even for 1 second... "Well he could have been trying to get me off it with AK.. Bink KING... Not a thought... Take a month off is my advice.. Go back over the vlogs... Learn young man.. Learn.
His 10/9 very ambitious 😂
“The board is paired so it’s less likely he has a full house” SAY WHAT..?
Reduces combos of sets. Main check/raises from reasonable player are strong draws and two pair plus and sometimes backdoor draws as a bluff . He was beating all missed combo draws
@@losyart The point is, the only way a full house can be present is if the board is paired. That's why the phrase "The board is paired so its less likely he has a full house" is asinine
@@VVeZoX Ok i got it man
Rampage, I like your videos the best because you show you don’t always win and you are indeed human. Thank you
You're selected for an amazing present❤
Really enjoy watching you! Be confident you are playing well!
This may sound weird but for me; I’m happy to see it, now I know it’s not just me going through it. Won for over a year and then 2023 downswing. But like I said, we’re going through it.
Rampage back to basics session
Tough stretch... Keep grinding. Thanks for bringing us along.
Ethan is going to WIN A BIG TOURNAMENT, AGAIN. VERY SOON. CAN FEEL IT 🔥💯
Thanks for your videos, they teach me a lot and are entertaining, greetings from Perú♦🎲♦
Jeez that was brutal but hang in there kid. You are a fighter.
The amount of hate in the comments is sad y’all just mad he’s a young guy winning/losing playing his own style playing in games 99.99% of ppl in the comments would never be able to play if they wanted to
Thanks for these videos showing the downswings as well as the up swings 👊
Yeah. Poker most of the time is just folding. My last 4 hour session I played a total of 10 hands, won, 5 hands, lost 2 hands, folded out the rest 😂
@@joshseely8350 Your style of playing poker is not good for the action of the game. Poker needs more action players for it to continue to survive.

Hang in there man. Get excited at the idea that the high swing is approaching. Manifest destiny brother.
Chin up kid! Reset, refocus. The Upswing will come!
i dont play poker really, but its always funny seeing people blast on a bluff and check all the way through with god hands.
Hang in there Rampage! Things will turn around you just gotta be patient! I find when I'm in a downswing or even just feeling a little uneasy I'll take my foot off the gas just a little bit and wait for some good spots and wait to make a hand (which is not my typical playstyle) and it usually helps me turn things around. I still try to find some good spots for bluffs and hero calls, but sometimes it helps just to make the best hand. Sending 🏃♂️ good your way!
Here 6 months later to inform you he’s down 7 figures in the past few months 😭😭😭😭😭
win or lose id still enjoyed watching your bink vlogs..
You gotta believe those river bets 😮
Hang in there bro, tables will turn
Best strat against players like Rampage is to literally bet like you have the nuts when you have the nuts. He'll never believe you have the nuts and he'll just call off his whole stack thinking his pair of 9s is good.
I yesterday finally won tournament after 4 months of not winning playing almost daily online from 5 to 15 tournaments so im feeling good right now but i know the pain of downswing. last 1 or 2 weeks i finally am on kinda up cause i made 5th place twice and finally won again . The key is to play good and not give up and you''l get your fair share of luck. Gl Ethan i love your vlogs and aggro style btw
Congrats! This comment is funny because I just won my first online tournament last night. 430 players. Pretty excited
@@haggridhinglehorn COngrats bro its always excitement after nice score 1st pace always u feel great
Brutal brother! Keep your head up.
yeah with the check raise and then turn bet and river over bet, it just screamed that he had you beat the whole time. I'm no pro player but I would've put him on A9 or slow played pocket 10s or higher after the check raise and barreling. you'll recover, we all go through it bro
Can you make a video of your results for the year? I think it would be cool to see what pros go through
He usually does a year end video showing results etc. But I agree, I'd like to see more updates etc by these poker vloggers.

At least the down swing hasn’t out weighed the up swing so you’re still good!
I’m good.. for now!
@@RampagePoker There are many reasons for down swings. Like, bored, not focus, lack of sleep, lack of sex, rerun, out of your control.
Good luck next session
All good, bro. I enjoy the videos. Keep grinding .
Just my observation and opinion, you played that last hand like the biggest fish ever.
There were so many hands that beat you. You had a bad "9" dude.
He could avoid it . But i get his reasoning and that there was way more combos of combo draws than boats. His main error was discounting 93 and 32 from villains range and some ppl play that garbage if its sooted esp from straddle
great to see ya buddy! another banger on a Sunday! I'm here for it!
@Text.Rampage_Poker.on.TeIegram what's happenin!?
Rampage videos are wonderful.
What good luck. Never happens for me!

Amazing content bro
The last hand when he lost to 3-2…you might think why did the guy stay in with 3-2? If your observant, the guy who called was on the $100 buck straddle so it didn’t cost him much more to see a flop so he called. These are the times trash cards can really hurt you as our friend Ethan just found out.
I love rampage but kinda a bad sticky call he was beat by any Broadway pocket pairs from the jump and any kingX on the river
@@hybridproduction6248definitely sticky. Any Kx of spades got there. A3, 22, 23, 93 suited. Even 33 for quads
Exactly bro
@hybridproduction6248 why would a boradway pocket pair flat pre-flop and not raise a button open? You can highly, highly discount those holdings. Was 22, 33, 32, MAYBE a3 going crazy or bluff imo
@@nicky_t1468 Seeing as how it was going to be heads up why raise with a strong pocket pair? You're already in for the straddle and raising puts you in a bad spot if the opponent re-raises and now you have to decide if you're calling with something like JJ for a huge preflop raise. Just calling lets you get away from a bad flop like AK3 or something, and if you have JJ and the flop comes AJ3 then you're likely getting paid huge. I'd definitely just call the raise with JJ heads up there. Just because of how deep both stacks are.
By chance you won’t be in Vegas at the end of the month will you? Going for my birthday, and would like to play some cash with ya!
Why is everyone flipping quads?! Why am I being excluded!! 😂
Play more hours. They'll come eventually.
lol @ real hand = JJ.. optimistic math
Better luck on the next one Rampage!🤙🏽
The dirty diaper got you 😢
Rampage is da best
9T and you call 7.5K on the river....wow i'm sorry Rampage but that's a fishy call (always thinking opp is bluffing...) and that with only one pair.. stay sharp and play smart (you do it tons of time) :D
Been on a long downswing myself lately. Resorted to playing bounty tournaments so at least I usually leave with something even if I don’t profit. Just to trick my mind into not feeling so bad. This game can be brutal.

Good Morning Young Man

you will pull out of this. probably with a huge win.
hoping for a better run for you soon
Hey man, do u play in AC often?
Why didnt u bet the river like 100-200 whn u had quad 5s
Its not only about making big hands. Someone has to make a second best hand to pay you off.
Wow... I never would have thought it. I always thought people blindly called off their stacks into quads. Thanks for the poker wisdom.
Lmao, I know the player fucking you up with 23 at the end 😂😂😂 he is definately capable of "not having it" 😂 that read on him was solid, the call was brave and unfortunate... Sorry you're on a downswing bro, get your mental game in check I got fucked up bad in July also. We all get fucked up mentally and dont play our best from time to time.
That last hand he could have had AA, KK, QQ or JJ. If he knew you had a hand, which i suspect he did, betting large with 3 2 made sense. Personally after the flop, i wouod have incorrectly put him on a premium pocket pair and let it go.
I mean how likely is it that the guy has AA, KK, QQ or JJ and didn't raise preflop with it? Like *maybe* JJ just calls here since it's already heads up and he could see a flop to make sure his JJ stays ahead. But I highly doubt dude is gonna flat call heads up with AA/KK preflop.
I think when someone owes you a lot of money, it will cause you to be tilted daily until you're all paid off. The debt will interfere with your focus.
This is why i never lend anyone or ask anyone for money.
@@timelapse4989...learned that lesson back during the golden days of poker (poker boom '02-'06 officially)when I was playing 1/2 NLH. Friend was going through some things and I had some comps and thought taking a roadtrip to Biloxi for a getaway would be good for him. Unfortunately that was not the case, & while I was ahead $1200 in a few hrs, he went bust. I ended up spotting him $500 & suggested he enjoy the suite, watch movies, order some room service, and regroup. He was back at the table in 15 minutes and blew it all in one quick session against an obvious club flush. Never saw that money again even though I told him he could drop me a $20 a month. Got off easy looking back. Never lend more than you feel comfortable losing. 💫🤞👀
hahaha as though you've ever played at these stakes, ever ginded like this, or ever had anyone owe you that kind of money yet that doesn't stop you from posting up thinking you're some kind of expert spokesperson on the matter... ugh
@@slowery43 It's human nature to be emotionally impacted by external factors.
11:55 of course he had it. wtf did you think he had? You shouldn’t have even seen the flop.
Easy when you see the cards. 65ss 54ss 64ss A4ss A5ss 54 (all suited combos). Versus value of.. 22, a single combo of 33 and a single combo of 99 that didn't 3bet, and the unlikely 32s apparently
My 1st thought on flop is that jj beats you.....
"Usually when most people check raise a very large bet, they just have it"
*nods*
"but..."
NOOOOOOOOOOO. Bro... the 932 flop where you get check raised to $1000 you just fold that man... There's no shot he didn't just flop a set or two pair with the fast check and then suspicious check raise. Turn and river the guy just is firing massive bets to tell you "I HAVE THE HAND" and you just convince yourself he doesn't have what he has. "My opponent is just trying to rep full houses"... Yes... he's repping a full house because he has a full house.
It's not a weird bet for him. He check raised you on a 9 3 2 flop, and then a 3 comes out and he's betting even more. He probably thinks you're on a spade draw or something and so the check raise on flop is to try and get you to fold your draw, but the bet on the turn is to just extract more chips out of you.
With all that said, the river brings a K and you're like "that doesn't matter" even though if the guy didn't have 3 2 in his hand, he'd very likely have a K and some other card and he's been bluffing the whole way and just nailed the river. Like what do you put your opponent on when he bets $7500 on a 9 3 2 3 K board? Air? What do you beat? Air? You don't beat A9, you don't beat a 3. You don't beat a king. You've got a weak two pair with a 10 kicker and you're calling $7500 on the river? If dude flips over K8s or something I wouldn't even be surprised.
Yeah well, you get in there will your advertiser, the rest of us will play on Party Poker where the odds are good
The punt king
Just realized your clickbait thumbnail photo of the $40k came from you previous video @0:56 😅
Why can't the big blind re-raise preflop?
The last hand, if I were Rampage I would fold. If somebody bet 7500, I do believe they must have at least full house or quad. I would rather fold incorrectly, then call the incorrect bet.
Honestly, Ethan. I have no idea how you can ever have winning sessions the way you play.
You don't understand that "not everyone thinks like you think", got it. Maybe spend time learning instead of dismissing or judging
And back to the hustler casino you go rampage! That none to you when you can win 500k in one hand at hustler casino where you n your friend Marino been tearing it up!!!
Tough last hand Ethan. Did you consider he might have an over pair or better on the flop? His check raise with 2 spades out there screams 2 low pairs to me. Plus he's out of position. Obviously I can see how everything played out and I'm sounding like an armchair quarterback, but you had top pair with a weak kicker. As played, from the straddle he can call light to try and flop something big against an aggressive opponent like you. He can easily have 93, 92, 32, J9, Q9, K9, A9, or A3 that improves on the turn. All of which beat you. That said, if he puts you on a 9 or a flush draw or even an over pair, he's going to play the hand just as he did. His big bets may have seemed confusing/bluffy, but it turns out he was making big bets to protect his hand on the flop, then charge you the maximum if you were drawing or getting sticky. His turn bet was a tough call, but I feel like you lit $7500 on fire with your river call. That's a big punt there. Yeah, you don't want to get bluffed. Yes, playing the way you do gets you paid off at times when tighter players wouldn't get action as well. I get it.
Keep in mind, I play much smaller stakes. I fired several bullets in the $400 Monolith and a couple in the $600 tourney as well. I made up for it in the 1/3 and 2/5 cash games initially, then ended up punting off chunks in the cash games making audacious bluffs and hero calls. I'm no expert and you're continuing to play well in general, but it looks like you're trying to force the game instead of letting it come to you. Obviously, we only see what you show us, but you get what I mean.
Best of luck and I look forward to the next video!
The main thing which improves on turn is boats and most likely he doesnt have overpair cause most of players would 3bet it pre vs late position opens.. The main misread was villain range pre. Ethan discounted 93 and 32 from villains range cause reasonable player would have folded them . That leaves villain value combos of 22 and quads (99 probably 3betting pre and we blocking it) which isnt many and there are way more combos of combo draws. I get his call but he just overthinked spot . HE bets huge on flop and got raised which indicates a lot of strength to me but then again he was sitting at the table and saw his opponent not me . I think population are quite honest vs big bets and are underbluffing vs those with most draws and just calls with mediocre holdings
Nothing frustrates me more than clickbait. “$40,000 QUADS!” in thumbnail, pot doesn’t even surpass $200. What a joke
