Bellagio 10/20 is considered one of the most skilled & competitive games around & Mariano just was like “yeah these guys are pretty tight” ..there’s really levels to this game of poker.
gonna be weird when he stops making straights with J8s and beating AA with Ax suited :D

His cash game reads are outstanding which allow him to play loose preflop. It’s more skill than luck at point.
Last time I played Bellagio 10/20 I lost 7k. Not an ideal game! :(

A lot of people might think Mariano runs pure, gets lucky, etc but it is CLEAR as day he does his homework. His bet sizing is just impeccable, I’m trying to learn from it!
You can be a decent player and be incredibly lucky. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Undeniable Mariano has run way above expectation the last couple years for example Josh Gordon way stronger player than Mariano just has no results because of constant run bad

This episode gives me hope that if I lose a WSOP event, I will still have something to do. I want to cash/win a few small WSOP event events someday but the cash games around seem to be good for me. I don't see how you do it on that last hand. That player must've known you can bluff big but to bet way over pot and the guy still calls is nuts. I mean, how does he call that without a boat? You are balanced for sure.
