    As a Christian I was always taught that drinking the blood and eating the body of Jesus was the thing to do. I thought it was very weird. I have been listening to you for a while now, and you have wiped the mud from my eyes Rabbi. The misinformation I have been taught all of my life is falling by the wayside. I have learned more listening to you in 2 months than I have learned all of my life and I am 52. Now what are my next steps?

      Renounce JC and become a Noahide by believing in the one true G-d and learn
      the 7 laws if you are a non-Jew but if you are Jewish ...return to Orthodox Judaism. Tell the rabbi or email Rabbi Singer at his channel: outreach Judaism.

      Read the quran. It was sent as a Reminder to clarify where humans have warped the monotheistic message of God.
      You will be surprised by what you find in it.
      May God guide you.

      @@franciskai4155: God never said ONE word to us about anyone named "Jesus". You need to do some research about how Christianity started, and you will discover that it absolutely did NOT come from God.
      When God gave His ETERNAL (i.e. STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document!) Hebrew scriptures to Moses at Mt. Sinai, He specifically told us NOT to follow ANY other teaching than what is in those Hebrew scriptures. Christianity IS another teaching, therefore we are NOT to follow what it says - God's orders!

      Also, nowhere in the Hebrew scriptures did God ever tell us that He requires HUMAN blood (a purely pagan ritual that God ABHORS!) as atonement for our sins. Therefore, the 'Jesus dying on a cross for people's sins' narrative, just did not happen.
      PLEASE do some honest research on this subject, and continue to listen to what the rabbis teach, as commanded by God in Deut. 17:8-11. Rabbis, in the absence of the Temple, replace the Priests and Judges, as our spiritual teachers, who have been tasked by God to interpret the Hebrew scriptures for us.

      @Rual hello there, Jesus never existed. Jesus was invented god, just like Virgin Mary was invented god, then Baptism, then communion, then Sunday worship, then Christmas all these pagan worship by Roman Catholic Church, This Christian Jesus did not fulfill any prophesies, ,read the prophecies in Mathew they are all out of context. Some inteligent group of people wrote the gospel and named it Mathew, Mark, Luke and John , they were not eyewitnesses, Paul never existed. The bible doesn't say that the messiah will be divine, resurrect. No , not at all. The fetal flaw here is that the so called messianic prophetic portrait is largely a Christian fiction that among other things regularly relies on fabrication of prophesies as well as tendentious misquotations and misapplications of the passages in Hebrew scriptures.

    I don't believe the same person wrote both Luke and The Acts. Reason? There is a huge and irreconcilable contradiction in these two "books" regarding Jesus' ascension. In the gospel, chapter 24, Jesus ascends to Heaven the very day of his resurrection. But in The Acts, chapter one, Jesus remains with the apostles for 40 days here on earth before ascending to Heaven.

    Rabbi, I alway love your teaching and I have learned sooo much. But I have a question about the human sacrifice. Did not God say to Abraham to go and sacrifice Isaac? Did not Gideon say what ever comes out of my house I will offer as a burnt offering and than was sad because his daughter came out and did she say let it be done as you have said? If human sacrifice was against Torah why would God suggest to have Abraham sin and why would Gideon daughter agree to be a burnt offering?

    • @pardes7342
      @pardes7342 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Abraham went along with what G-d required of him and remember Isaac was an adult who was strong enough to fight his father and could run away but he also went along with what his father asked him to do. Because father and son had faith that G-d who actually despised human sacrifice will at the end stop them for doing so. Both passed the test and that is why G-d struck the covenant with Abraham and then later reiterated the covenant with Isaac and then Jacob= through them the Jewish people came.
      Jephthah(not Gideon) is the one that prayed and said that if G-d brings them victory, he will offer whatever came out of his house. This is actually a lesson that we should be careful of what we say. However there is a way that a vow can be annulled stipulated by the TORAH by going to a rabbi who officiates it but Jephthah was too proud to go to the rabbi. He demanded that the rabbi come to him which is a disrespect. He should think of his daughter's welfare but he did not. He was an ignoramus of the TORAH. It is important to learn the TORAH to sustain us with life here and the next world.

    Shalom brother Tovia!
    I love you and have so much respect for you for helping the Christians and the Messianic worlds to abandon the New testament and worship HaShem and Him alone.
    I am in awe about your great knowledge of the lies found in the New testament. I thank you for what you do and The Almighty HaShem will keep blessing you and your family for dedicating your life teaching His Word..
    However, I have a little problem with you sometimes when you are confusing your listeners about who the Jewish people are and who the Israelites are.
    There is absolutely no connection between the Jewish people and the actual Israelites who Scriptures talk about.
    Judaism is a man made religion.
    The Israelites have NOTHING to do with Judaism or any other religions. The Israelites are the bloodline direct descents of Jacob, chosen by HaShem to be His special People forever.
    Israel has been a dark skin color People and still is to this day.
    But thanks for your great teachings.
    May HaShem abundently bless you.
    May He cause His Countenance to shine upon you and give you Peace!

    The idea of a human sacrifice in order to comply with the wishes of and to appease the anger of a god was nothing new. With Abraham and Isaac, God toyed with, teased and tempted Abraham with the idea. With Jepthath and his daughter, God accepted the human sacrifice. The idea of such a sacrifice was not new to the Jews or to the Gentiles. God warned the Jews that they should not sacrifice the lives of their children (pass through the fire). Furthermore, the reality is that God sacrificed David's infant son due to the sins of David. Accordingly, the submission of Dr. Wright that the idea was too far fetched to consider has no basis in facts and is therefore total nonsense.For me the evidence is overwhelming that those, who created Christianity, did those things, which they deemed would make it appealing and palatable to the most polytheistic and gullible gentiles. The elimination of the strict dietary laws, de-emphasizing of fasting , the cessation of the need for circumcision and theft , alteration and misapplication of Jewish scriptures became paramount and prevalent. Psalms 22:17 and Isaiah 7:14 are prime examples of the latter.

    LUKE - A Syrian from Antioch, was the inspired author of the third Gospel. A physician by profession, a man of culture with perfect Greek, he was a DISCIPLE of Paul and was an early Gentile convert, from about the year 40. He ACCOMPANIED Paul on his second journey (49-53) from Troas to Philippi (Acts 16:10-37), remaining there for some years, until he again joined Paul toward the end of his third journey (53-58). He stayed with the apostle when he was imprisoned in Caesarea; he was with him on his adventurous trip from Caesarea to Rome and during his first Roman captivity (Col. 4:14, Phil. 1:24).

    The disciples did not receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost in the book of John. In fact after Jesus breathed on them and instructed them to receive the Holy Ghost in John 20, the most extraordinary thinhg they did after that was, they went fishing and caught nothing. John chapter 20 is not a contradiction of Acts chapter 2, it is merely the first encounter between Christ and his disciples after his resurrection. Acts chapter 1 takes place weeks after John 20.

Any decent bible would have the alternate readings available for the reader to see. I suspect that deep in his heart Rabbi Singer is scratching his head in wonderment, as to what the believers in Christ have that makes them continue to believe in the face of what he would assume is conclusive evidence against this faith.

    Is it pagan for Jesus to have willingly offered his life in obedience to God? The wages of sin is death which is spiritual separation from God followed by a physical death. If he had not overcome sin and death by obeying God with out sin unto death, everyone would die the physical death spiritually separated from God because all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. John 11 (speaking about Lazarus)
    24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. A chapter that I find to be of great significance in the book of Luke in chapter 6, he has detail in there that the great significance though it is brief. It concerns the disciple-making work. And it would go straight to the heart and controversy of what was originally the concept of God that the 1st Christians held. 1st and foremost the 1st Christians were of Jewish descent. And they were monotheistic, and not in the way that Trinitarian's try to define it. How can we be sure this 1st of all the faithful Jewish people never worship God in Trinity 2nd we have an account or even some of the priest of Judaism became believers. They were no doubt not confused about the fact that God was one person and was not a three-person construct as Trinitarian Christians like the claim. Had Christianity been teaching that GOD was a three-person construct of the kind that Trinitarian's want to believe in, there would've been a huge controversy, after all, they did not have a controversy over circumcision imagine, the controversy that would've erupted over the introduction of a pagan concept of God, one of worshiping God in Trinity. Knowing that they had come out of Egypt and Jehovah had distinguished himself as being different from the worship, and the God's, of Egypt, that were worshiped in Trinity. They would not be likely to embrace the concept of worshiping God in Trinity. Especially after having been told that God was one person in the Shema Deuteronomy 6:4. "Jehovah our God is one Jehovah" and no doubt they would remember how Jehovah humiliated the gods of Egypt one by one so there could be no doubt that Jehovah was the highest and the only true God. Something that Trinitarian's simply do not acknowledge, and overlook in Scripture, the significance of that event in acts the 6th chapter at verse 7.

    The Rabbi errs in his claim that the Jews had no concept that shed human blood expiates sin. It is not in the Old Testament, it appears in the Apocrypha, specifically 4 Maccabees 17:20-22 "...because of them our enemies, did not rule over our nation, the tyrant was punished, and the homeland purified- they having become, as it were, a ransom for the sin of our nation. And through the blood of those devout ones and their death as an expiation, divine Providence preserved Israel that previously had been afflicted." Judaism came to ruled by Hellenistic Greeks for almost 300 hundred years (332 BC-60 BC) and Hellenistic Greek ideas about God's relationship to man came to be accepted by some Jews, including Jewish High Priests of the Temple in Jerusalem. The Maccabees opposed this Hellenizing and threw out the Greeks and their Hellenizing Jews and restored the Temple to Old Testament beliefs and practices (shed bulls' blood for atonement of sins). The event alluded to in 4 Macc 17:20-22 was circa 160 BC. The book is believed to have been composed circa AD 20-54 ( see p. 309, _The New Oxford Annotated Bible With Apocrypha_, RSV, , Oxford, 1973), which is about the time that Christianity came into being (30 AD), St. Paul's letters being dated to circa 60 AD. Paul may have borrowed this notion from 4 Maccabees, having Jesus' shed blood serving as expiation for national sin in lieu of the slain sons of Eleazar? My research of 40 years suggests that where Christianity differs from Judaism it is in the assimilation and recasting of Hellenistic Greek religious concepts which were opposed by the Rabbis. See my website www.bibleorigins.net for more details.

      Book of Maccabees is NOT part of the Hebrew bible. The rabbis were already angry at the priests for fighting with the rabbis and for making themselves into kings. The actions of those kohanim led to the longest and most bitter of exiles. Why would we place such a book in our Hebrew bible? What Rabbi Singer says is correct: that human sacrifices are an abomination - detested by YHWH. Abraham was commanded AGAINST human sacrifice and his test was that he was told to bring up his son - but when the test of obedience was passed, then the angel prevented any harm to his son. So the entire argument of a human sacrifice is anathema and rebutted by the entirety of the Hebrew bible.

  • @TheMeefive

    1. Circumcision of the flesh foreshadowed Circumcision of the herat. The Old testament rituals were symbolic of the ministry of Christ. Christ being circumcised had no bearing on him being the spotless Lamb. He knew no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth. That's what made him perfect.
    2. Christ was not a human sacrifice. Again, Old testament sacrifices were symbolic of Christ laying down his life to pay the penalty for sin. Christ said "No man takes my life. I have the power to lay it down and I have the power to take it up again. What sacrificed animal was able to get up and walk away after it was killed? Obviously none. When you understand what symbolism is you have no problem with the idea of Christ dying to save us.
    3. "Eat my flesh and drink my blood." Christ was fully aware when he made that statement that the Jews would take it literally and become offended. In fact most of his followers left him after he first made the statement. He asked the 12 if they were going to leave also. They said, 'Where would we go. You have the words of eternal life." At the last supper they realized that he was speaking metaphorically. He didn't cut himself and pass around his flesh. He took bread and passed it around. He didn't drain his blood into the cup and make them drink. He poured wine in the cup and passed it around. No magical transubstatiation occurred. They ate bread and drank wine symbolizing the restoration of our spiritual connection to God througgh the death and resurrection of Christ.

    2:00
    Lu:2:22:
    And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished,
    they brought him to Jerusalem,
    to present him to the Lord;
    (As it is written in the law of the Lord,
    Every male that openeth the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)
    And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of the Lord,
    A pair of turtledoves,
    or two young pigeons.
    It is true that I promote that God demanding a blood sacrifice so the deaths of all of therm is a crime committed by God as He is under the Re:21 set of laws. Jesus refused to kill a lamb for Passover as required by God so God gave Him the same punishment He gave Jonah, 3 days and 3 nights in the grave awake, like the rich man in that story. Passover was changed with His death, the 613 Laws are not mentioned until Acts:10 which marks the end of the 70th week of Da:9.
    In the case of the fallen angels and their 6 fingered children the giants the exodus wars saw them exterminated because of the sins of the 'sons of God' from Ge:6.
    Murder is against the Re:21 laws (they were used to judge the world to be in sin and only the fallen angels never made an appearance after that except for Satan)
    Isa:1 shows God is not that fond of any flesh dying for the sins of angels, least of all the ones He demanded be killed, starting with the two He killed to make clothes for Adam and Eve.
    Isa:66:3:
    He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man;
    he that sacrificeth a lamb,
    as if he cut off a dog's neck;
    he that offereth an oblation,
    as if he offered swine's blood;
    he that burneth incense,
    as if he blessed an idol.
    Yea,
    they have chosen their own ways,
    and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
    Isa:34:1-8:
    Come near,
    ye nations,
    to hear;
    and hearken,
    ye people:
    let the earth hear,
    and all that is therein;
    the world,
    and all things that come forth of it.
    For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations,
    and his fury upon all their armies:
    he hath utterly destroyed them,
    he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
    Their slain also shall be cast out,
    and their stink shall come up out of their carcases,
    and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
    And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved,
    and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll:
    and all their host shall fall down,
    as the leaf falleth off from the vine,
    and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
    For my sword shall be bathed in heaven:
    behold,
    it shall come down upon Idumea,
    and upon the people of my curse,
    to judgment.
    The sword of the LORD is filled with blood,
    it is made fat with fatness,
    and with the blood of lambs and goats,
    with the fat of the kidneys of rams:
    for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah,
    and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
    And the unicorns shall come down with them,
    and the bullocks with the bulls;
    and their land shall be soaked with blood,
    and their dust made fat with fatness.
    For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance,
    and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
    Re:19:17:
    And I saw an angel standing in the sun;
    and he cried with a loud voice,
    saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven,
    Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
    Re:19:21:
    And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse,
    which sword proceeded out of his mouth:
    and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
    Lu:12:6-7:

    and not one of them is forgotten before God?
    But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
    Fear not therefore:

      Matthew - Apostle Peter In Greek by the end of the 40th day after the cross
      Mark - Apostle James In Greek by the end of the 40th day after the cross
      Luke - Apostle John In Greek by the end of the 40th day after the cross
      John - Disciple of John the Baptist In Greek by the end of the 40th day after the cross
      Acts covers events outside of Judea (after Stephen's story) while the Apostles were in Jerusalem as they didn't not leave until 70AD according to the Luke:21:12-24 prophecy. Paul and the beloved Disciple of John the Baptist were the ones in the Nations, The Disciple set up a home in Asia as there were many Christians that moved there about 35AD. The places visited are listed as Churches in the Revelation of John the Baptist. I tend to focus on what is being said than who the scribe was as there are only a few choices and all of them were on equal footing as all had experienced a 40 day fast. That would be the dividing line on who could do the signs following and who could not. Jesus could control demons the disciples couldn't when He had a 40 day fast and prayer while they only had prayer. The baptism He gave them was followed by a 40 day fast so they were on the same level Jesus was from His return from that fast until the day He died.
      Ex:20:5:
      Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them,
      nor serve them:
      for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God,
      visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
      Joh:15:10-15:
      If ye keep my commandments,
      ye shall abide in my love;
      even as I have kept my Father's commandments,
      and abide in his love.
      These things have I spoken unto you,
      that my joy might remain in you,
      and that your joy might be full.
      This is my commandment,
      That ye love one another,
      as I have loved you.
      Greater love hath no man than this,
      that a man lay down his life for his friends.
      Ye are my friends,
      if ye do whatsoever I command you.
      Henceforth I call you not servants;
      for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth:

    Why are you talking about "eucarist"? Nowhere in the New Testament do you find that term. And when you talk about "the church", it sounds like you're talking about the Catholic church which does not represent a pure representation of the body of Christ, the real church.
    Terms like eucarist are products of the Catholic church, which much like the rabbis of your religion, has taken the liberty to add laws, terminology, rituals, and "interpretations" to the word and the Law of God. The Catholic church and their priests scholars adopted too many pagan elements and their priests were glad to emulate what the rabbis of Judaism did and continue to do by adding to what God instituted. Where is the Spirit of God in all of this? Why is everybody quieting down the Spirit of God.
    Nobody is willing to hear from God because they want to exalt their own thinking and ideas above the mind of God. How about humbling ourselves before God and trying to listen to his Spirit, his essence, instead of "interpreting" and passing our own "understanding" as the "truth".
    To your forefathers whose "faith" was counted as "righteousness", it was because they believed what they heard "from God"! However, for every other modern Jew, the blood sacrifice is still required. It was instituted in the rabbinical law, right? God spoke of what type of sacrifice He is pleased with, and it has nothing to do with blood sacrifices, but your priests insisted on it, and for that reason Jesus (the Son of God Himself) had to come to give an end to that "requirement". Why are you not still fulfilling the blood sacrifice? No temple? Exactly! Jesus prophesied that the temple would come down and be rebuilt in three days. He was speaking of Himself.
    If you are a true Jew, you must fulfill ALL the Law, including the blood sacrifice. If you violate one, you are guilty of all and your soul will die. If all of a sudden you are listening, finally, to the words of the prophets, it seems too late because your people didn't care about what God had to say then, and added stipulations to the Law. It is YOUR Law, you MUST fulfill it ALL. You cannot toss it. It is Jewish Law. It only applies to you. That is WHY, you were the ones who needed a SAVIOR more than any other group of people in the world. So, if you are a Jew, fulfill your Law, if you are sons of faith, hold on to the skirt of HIM who is a Jew (Jesus), and be freed from the bondage of death that comes from the writings of the rabbinical laws.

      I'm going to assume you can't read Koine Greek, nor have you done any research into the Eucharist. Had you then you would know that the term 'eucharist' us derived from 'εὐχαριστία (eurcharistia)', it is an expression of gratitude or thanksgiving, and it is in deed found in the Bible.
      If you are referring to the elements which make up the Eucharist, namely the bread and the wine, then I can only assume you haven't read any of the Last Supper narratives which clearly indicate both bread and wine were present. Jesus referred to the bread as His body and the wine as His blood.
      So your statement that the Eucharist is not found in Scripture is false.

      You assume correctly. I cannot read Koine Greek, but I just quickly researched the etimology of the word Eucharistia and you are correct, it means an expression of gratitude or thanksgiving. But I still fail to see where in the Bible is the word Eucharistia used to refer to the the bread or the body of Christ. I'm fully aware that Jesus referred to the bread as His body and the wine as His blood. Kindly provide the Bible verses where I could find the word Eucharistia used to refer to the body of Christ and/or the bread he broke in the upper room with His disciples. Thank you so much.

      Matthew 26:27 (wine)
      Mark 14:23 (wine)
      Luke 22:17, 19 (bread & wine)
      1 Corinthians 11:24 (bread)
      In each verse, Jesus gives thanks, eucharisteo (verb form); either for the wine which is His blood or the bread which is His body.
      1 Corinthians 10:30
      Paul gives thanks, eucharisteo, for the communion meal of bread and wine.
      Christians thus give thanks, eucharisteo, when we partake of the bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus. Eucharisteo as a noun, as far as I can determine right now, originated in the 2nd century, and may have originated with Irenaeus. As with English, Greek words evolve over time and with usage. In this case, the act of giving thanks became the elements which we are grateful for. And it all began when Jesus first gave thanks for the bread and wine.

      @loveabba3950 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      rebelliousbynature99 Matthew 26:27: "and he gave thanks"; Mark 14:23: "and when he had given thanks." Strongs: 2168 Eucharistesas is used in these two verses for the "act of giving thanks" exactly as you pointed out the meaning of the word Eucharist and its cognates mean. Jesus "gave thanks (eucharistesas) to the Father." But again, as in my original comment to this video, I fail to see where in the Bible is the word Eucharist used to refer to the bread or the wine. Word 2168 (Eucharistesas and its cognates) is not used for bread or wine - only for giving thanks. I just don't think it's accurate to call the bread and/or the wine Eucharist. Yes, we eat of the bread and drink of the wine as a remembrance for what Jesus did for us and when we do so, we give thanks (Eucharistesas) just as Jesus asked the disciples to do. The "Holy Eucharist" as a "sacrament" are terminologies that were introduced by the Catholic Church. They are not Biblical terms. We must continue calling the bread and the wine for their names, and knowing that the bread is His body and the wine is His blood. You and I can break bread in our homes with our families and eat and drink in remembrance of what Jesus did for us. Jesus said he was the bread of life; he was the Word of God made flesh; when we eat the bread, we are eating the word of God and living by it: as it is written, man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. And for those things we "give thanks": Eucharistesas. Please share anything else I might need to know.

    Yes your work is excellent as you dismantle the New Testament with facts common sense and tremendous knowledge of what is written in the Bible and probably the Koran too. Sadly though when the questions are about the Tora or Old Testament you seem to be using Christian tricks to justify what you believe. You say the sun was created on the 4th day and yet light arrived on the 1st day. Did God have a large flashlight I wonder. You acknowledge the universe is 15 billion yrs old (closer to 13.5) and you say god created Adam 5600 yrs ago and before that “we don’t know how long a day was “ ! My friend, you can’t it both ways, your opponents can easily pick apart your beliefs the way you pick apart theirs. The facts about our world do not conform to what was written thousands of years ago.

    Jesus last words in Mark, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabach-thani" was not his last recorded cry. These words also begin Psalm 22:1, written circa 587 BC, 560 years before the Romans, and appear to describe a crucifixion. Many think Jesus was "the prophet like Moses" (Deuteronomy 18:15) since the temple was destroyed in 70 AD as prophesied in Matthew 24.

      @@3wolfsdown702 It starts by citing the Messiahs family tree which would have been available in the temple before its' destruction. This gives Mathew and Luke a more authoritative claim on the story.
      Nobody denied Yeshua raised Lazarus from the dead, only that He raised Himself from the dead.
      To eliminate Christianity, all the governors had to do was parade Yeshuas corpse in the street. How hard could it be since the Jews were the governors that handed him over to the Romans to be crucified by Pilot who then let Joseph of Arimathea bury Him, in a rich mans tomb as described in scripture; Isaiah 53, Psalm 22.
      According to Daniel 9:24-26, Messiah had to come 483 years after the issuing of Artaxerxes command which was 32 AD. In prophetic code, each week is 7 years; its a week of years.
      He ministered for about 3 years and 2000 years later we're still talking about Him and what He did. Do you know anyone else more famous? Did He ever deny the God of Yisrael, contradict scripture, or teach people to follow after another god? He was crucified for claiming to be God which is exactly what Christians claim.
      Let's talk about Saul, not the first king of Yisrael, but the zealous Pharisee who persecuted the followers of Christ until he met the resurrected Yeshua on the road to Damascus. He later changed his name to Paul and preached the gospel to the gentiles and this accounts for almost a third of the new testament.
      Consider the Bible was written over the course of 1500 years by almost 40 different authors, but when you stick it together you see a cohesive harmonious story of redemption as if written by one author.
      It confounds my mind that God would test Abrahams faith by asking him to sacrifice his son Isaac, only to stop it altogether to show human sacrifice is wrong, and then later give His only begotten Son for us to die in our place. Why did God do it? Christ said no greater love hath any man then to lay down his life for his friend. Out of love, He laid down His life to give the most underserving people the most precious gift, Himself. His grace calls all Jews and Gentiles into one body to repent and trust in Him who is able to redeem us by His blood and sanctify us by His spirit to make us a holy people for Him. The blood atones for the soul (Leviticus 17:11).
      From the points above I believe He is the Messiah, the Holy one of Yisrael. (Isaiah 9:6)
      This is the most important question of your life. It changes everything. You owe it to yourself to seek the truth. What is eternal life, but to know the one true God.
      In response to some of Singers arguments, Christians don't drink blood at communion. That's a pagan myth. The LORDs supper is a Passover meal and the cup of communion represents the new testament in His blood. The new testament is spoken of in the prophets.
      God sees the heart as it is written in the old testament. In the new testament Christ responded to peoples questions by directly answering the thoughts of their heart. Jesus took the law to a higher level when He revealed it is fulfilled in the heart by love. Often when a law is broken, several others must have been transgressed in the heart first. What is the answer? Repent from dead works and turn back to God. Love the LORD with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Love your neighbor as yourself. We can't please God without God. Transform your mind with the Word, Gods eternal word, and He will do the rest (Proverbs 3:5).
      Psalm 103: Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's...

      +ENiGMA - Problem: God in Jewish scripture forbids adding even so much as a letter or taking away of one. The Jewish scriptures in Jewish hands are exactly the same as they were 2000 years ago. Scribes were known to have counted even every letter on every line for that reason. The first Septuagint was translated to Greek by Jewish scholars in about 150 BC for the library at Alexandria. The Orthodox Rabbi problem, they believe in the oral law(Talmud). The oral law is not the Tanakh. Ironic how the word Orthodox is applied here. In other words these teachers preach about the importance to follow the Tanakh and not to contradict its teachings yet the oral law Talmud contradicts the Tanakh.
    450-500 CE (the Babylonian Talmud). Belief that at least portions of the Oral Torah were transmitted orally from God to Moses on Mount Sinai during the Exodus from Egypt is a fundamental tenet of faith of Orthodox Judaism, and was recognized as one of the Thirteen Principles of Faith by Maimonides. Where is the Orthodox Rabbis evidence for this, is it scriptural ????????????
    The Talmud has even arrogated for itself a position superior to that of Scripture
    “Those who devote themselves to reading the Bible exercise a certain virtue, but not very much; those who study the Mischnah exercise virtue for which they will receive a reward; those, however, who take upon themselves to study the Gemarah exercise the highest virtue.” (Babha Metsia, fol. 33a)
    “The Sacred Scriptures is like water, the Mischnah wine, and the Gemarah aromatic wine.” (Sopherim XV, 7, fol. 13b)
    “He who transgresses the words of the scribes sins more gravely than the transgressors of the words of the law.” (Sanhedrin X, 3, f.88b)
    SHOCKING. Rabbi Tovia Singer look at what you believe, you contradict yourself.

NEVAH have I seen a hand irl or in a photo where the index finger is longer than the middle finger. Furthermore John writes that JoA and N bring a winding cloth and 75 pounds of medicinal herbs to wrap up the body of Jesus. The Synoptics also say JoA wrapped him up in linen cloth. It is quite clear trinity is man made, more importantly Roman made.
    According to the Bible, disciples couldnt make sense of Jesus crucifixion and death and on their way they meet someone (who is Jesus himself but they dont recognise him) and he tells the meaning of the crucifixion.
    Now we have DISCIPLES, i mean these are the people who JESUS was praying to FATHER to become one with him, these are the people - according to the Bible- to WHOM Jesus did not speak in parables and gave them secrets. Yet they dont know the meaning, the whole porpose of Jesus coming to earth? Plus they dont even recognise Jesus.
    How much delusion does it take to believe this?

    Alright, now I'm really getting into this. If you're reading this you may have already read some of my comments on your other videos. I'm pretty much writing all of this in the middle of the night so I know you'll only read this, if you ever read this, only much later but I hope you'll be able to get to them eventually.
    So let's concede the point about the infallibility of the new testament because that never sat well with me anyway. Let's say, however, that there was a real Jew named Jesus that these stories are based on however much they were politically motivated and so forth. Now, I know this one's a bit of a stretch but let's throw the Notavitch accounts into the mix. I know the church hasn't accepted these Notavitch accounts but Notavitch and 3 or 4 other well respected individuals at various times went to this Buddhist monastery and report having encountered a text attesting a 14 year old coming from about the area where Jesus would have lived, traveling around the middle east and India criticizing idol worship and the caste system and studying the sacred texts of other lands before returning just in time chronologically to be baptized by John the Baptist, do all the events of new testament and get crucified before the news reached the people of this monastery who considered this figure by roughly the name of Jesus a saint.
    So, building on some of the things I've said in other comments under other videos which I'm sure you'll happily dismantle later, hopefully later today or tomorrow or whenever you have time, that this figure who at 13 or so is this impressive Torah prodigy at the presentation in the temple does travel throughout the middle east and India becoming not only a Torah prodigy but one of the first great comparative religion scholars before returning home and completing his study reaching this very high level of spiritual attainment thoroughly impressing John the Baptist and everyone else he came across and both prophesying his own death and the impact that would come to have on the world at large. Let's also say, for the sake of argument (and again, I'm sure I'll be happy later to hear your correction to my understanding of Adam Kadmon and Yechidah later) that his level of attainment was sufficiently high that his union with God allowed him to say outrageous things like that he was the son of God and that "I and the Father are one" and so on and so forth without technically saying anything that was incorrect. Then after his death and perhaps let's even say his resurrection other people capitalized on this monumental occasion for their own political reasons but retained enough of the story that we can still identify roughly the gist of what actually happened.
    I know that was a lot to say for the sake of argument, but what I'm wondering is if we said all that, what would the weak points in such an argument be? And don't tell me because I'm not concerned with whether or not it comports with the mainstream Christian narrative about who Jesus was and what the significance of his sacrifice was or anything like that, but primarily whether or not this would make sense from an orthodox Jewish perspective as what happened underlying the mainstream Christian narrative of Jesus.
    I should let you know just so we're clear about why I'm asking. I'm currently in my catholic RCIA classes to get confirmed within orthodox Christianity so I do have some legitimacy in the Christian narrative but more importantly to me I want to become a true, honest to God died in the wool saint, tzaddik, I don't really care what term you prefer. Rather and moreover, I'd like to reach the highest level of spiritual attainment that it is possible to reach, and if that does include the highest level of spiritual union with God then I want to be as much united with God as possible. I want to go for the gold, you know what I mean. The real top shelf stuff. So the reason I'm asking is because if you might agree that the high level union with God on the level of Yechidah would be a good explanation underlying the Christ narrative then that would legitimize and clarify my understanding of what steps need to be taken in order to reach the high level of attainment I'd like to reach. Better for me if Jesus wasn't the messiah perhaps because it means the job's still available. I don't mean that to be any kind of a sacrilege though I'm sure it is anyway. Regardless I think you can understand where I'm coming from. I'm not super concerned with the details per se in that I'm not attached to any particular narrative more than I am attached to the goal and I really just want the counsel that's going to help me figure out how to best reach that goal.

      YIshis Lassie , according to the book of Revelation , which is summed exclusively for the early church rebels, 42 months have been given to Paul, as the beast to blaspheme Christianity. Acts 28:30 concern the books of the NT, no one forbidding him. So for contradictory and proof of all the nonsense written, are The Two Witness of Rev. 11:4, which are The JEWS to back up Paul's claims.( Torah and the WRITINGS), which means, that to contradict Paul' Writing is possible to be contradicted only by his words,as it is written. For:" I ( Jesus) will give you Mouth and wisdom, none of your enemies may contradict or resist". And when he has come ( of John 16:8) he will convict the world of sin (NT), and of righteousness and of judgments."
      Because THEY do not believe in it !!!

    YHVH divorced Israel because of their sin. As In deuteronomy once a husband divorced his wife because of the sin of adualtry or he has found her unfavorable in his eyes and she defiled herself with another man (baal worship) he can NOT take his wife BACK and the wife cannot remarry until the husband DIES. YHVH could not take Israel back as his people and the ten tribes of Israel would have no salvation, they would die in their sins. As in Numbers to test the adultrous wife YHVH came in flesh via YAHSHUA =Joshua to take the punishment of the adultrous wife via drinking of the bitter water that would cause bitter sufferings and swollen abdomen to come upon her, crucifixion, to bring his people of Israel out of death and into the promise land. YAHSHUA=Joshua took the role of the adultrous wife and the role of the first husband who died so Israel could remarry into the new covenant with YHVH and not die in their sin because he put his laws in the minds and hearts of his people that they would follow his way and not the way of the traditions of MEN... the Tanakh when talking about human sacrifice it's always about burning your children to malach. Blood offerings is of atonement!!!

    Tovia, I think you went off into the weeds this time. Jesus's life was not taken, but given. So it is not human sacrifice. That is no more Sacrifice (in the sense of Temple ritual) than Muslims can call blowing themselves up along with some victims "Martyrdom". The later would more appropriately be called "Murderdom". If you want to go there, then Jewish sacrifices of the red heifer and lambs and so-forth are just as pagan. And what about God telling Abraham to sacrifice his own son Isaac? That's human sacrifice and that's in the Torah. So why would God tell Abraham to commit a pagan ritual with his son? Seems that God was being pretty pagan himself according to you. So I think you should back off of telling us that Christian faith is more pagan that Jewish faith. Its a very slippery slope you are treading on. Also note that it was the Rabbi's that demanded Jesus's execution. In their state of mind, this was not sacrifice, though the end result is effectively the same.

    Acts 8:32 by the same author as the book of Luke contains an account of the passage of Isaiah being read that says, "He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and as a lamb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth" and three verses later in Acts 8: 35 the author goes on to say, "Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto h Jesus." This is a reference to chapter 53 of Isaiah, which contains at verse 10, "when this shalt make his soul an offering for sin". This is at least close to vicarious atonement, and some of the verses before the quoted passage about a sheep led to the slaughter, such as, "and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." As to the eve of Passover, the date of celebration of the eve of Passover is based on human determination of the New Moon which was determined in Jesus day by observation, not calculated from astronomical regularity, and can be influenced cloud cover or even interference by enemies lighting fires to deliberately throw off the correct determination or not believing a faithful witness to the phenomenon of the new moon or believing two unfaithful witnesses. There only is one day separating the synoptic gospels from John, therefore, Jesus could eat the Passover on one day and be slaughtered at the time of the evening sacrifice on the day the main body of the Jewish people were killing the sacrificial lamb. Jesus ate the Passover I'm what was apparently the Essene quarter of the city (a man carrying a water pot) and the Essenes did not base their ritual observances on the decisions of those who controlled the Temple. So if Jesus was celebrating Passover in the Essene neighborhood, it would make sense he would be on the timeline as them, which could with reasonable likelihood have been the correct date from the standpoint of the heavens, while also permitting crucifixion simultaneously with the killing of the first Passover lamb before the Temple.

John 6 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. If YESHU was a JEW= his teaching whether literal or not is an abomination to G-d. Jews are not allowed to eat blood for life is n the blood. This is paganism and also proves that JC is not from the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
      G-d can only forgive or delete sins committed against him but not sins committed against man.For example sins by a husband against his wife or children and vice versa. Don't go to G-D to ask forgiveness in these areas.
      So this debunks JC sacrificing for the sins of man. Besides he is a heretic or changed the TORAH into satanic practice. Why would you practice such a ritual?

    Luke's 2:21 it is not an account of Jesus conception in the womb, for that was conceived in her is in Matthew's which is John. Also it is not written that Jesus was circumcised anywhere. You have sold Yourselves for nothing And You shall be redeemed without money ( Isaiah 47:3!)
    ( Isaiah's 33:18 is John the Baptist )
    Therefore Paul was frickin out when he was left with the account of Luke only. Especially the parchment was missed greatly.

Death to the carnal man. If Jesus died as a human sacrifice for all sins past present and future then there would be no need to overcome sin. It cant be both. As Yeshua clearly said he too had to overcome sin Rev. 3:21 as the firstfruits of the SPIRIT. None of the NT is about physical death. Pick a book. Isaiah 53 is about the spiritual not physical (as a new covenant fulfillment). This is the hidden mystery in the new covenant, the pearl of great value that's hidden like a treasure in a field. @Jeremiah Henley take up your daily cross and follow after Yeshua. Obviously we cant literally die on a physical cross daily. We must crucify our sinful flesh. So if we must follow after Yeshua and crucify our flesh, so did he. Hebrews 7:27 also states he layed down his life (spiritual by dying to himself) first FOR HIS OWN SINS, then for the people as our high priest and king (the 2 olive trees made into one Lampstand) zech. 3 and 6. The old covenant was a literal type and shadow for the new spiritual of the Jer. 31 new covenant. The law is written on our HEARTS (spiritual) not tablets of stone (literal). Its circumcision of the sinful spiritual flesh not literal flesh. Yeshua was the beginning of the NEW SPIRITUAL COVENANT of Jer. 31, a spiritual kingdom not a covenant of the physical. (John 1:1). the Gospels are not contradicting but written from different points of view, just as 5 people could see one car accident, you would have 5 different accounts of the very same events the very same story and have 5 different versions ,each one would tell details and recall the events differently somewhat, have details that will be important to them but not important to someone else, even the way they recount the details of the event might be different because of them having different backgrounds. And while all of the versions could appear different in some contradictory, it could also be that all versions are true and accurate except for, each person found different details import and may have seen other details as not being important. While may recall some things that others may not recall. And this is not uncommon. So to say that they contradict simply because some scholars are not aware of this possibly being the case does not mean that their criticism of the writers of the Gospels is accurate or valid.

    Revelation 5:9
    9 And they sang ua new song, saying,
    “Worthy are you to take the scroll
    and to open its seals,
    for vyou were slain, and by your blood wyou ransomed people for God
    from xevery tribe and language and people and nation,. Bible of Christian's is saying the slain lamb of God was slain even before the fall of Adam. This means it is not free will of Adam and Eve to disobey God and follow Satan's and listen to Satan but infact God knew all this will happen and God is playing this game which he knows what is next going to happen as he is all knowing God that's why the slain lamb he keeps on his right side before Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit and that slain lamb is noone but Jesus Christ

    @the idea that humans Sacrifice is not found in Jewish literature is stated by the Rabbi. Except he is forgetting when Jehovah asked one of his servants(Abraham) to sacrifice his son Isaac. The idea with the exception of that incident as well as that of Jesus Christ are the only 2 references in Jewish literature. After all they do happen in the Hebrew Scriptures it should not be forgotten or overlooked. Isaac foreshadowed the actual sacrifice that Jesus carried out by his Father Jehovah. When he asked Jesus to give up his life for the benefit of mankind. So our human sacrifice typically was to be associated with paganism. It there was the exception to the rule. In the case of Isaac the fact that his father was willing to sacrifice him was as good as sacrificing him. And when the sacrifice was stopped it was as if Isaac's father received his son back to him by means of the resurrection. For 2 Isaac's father his son was as good as dead at that point when he was about to strike with a knife. He portrayed the coming actual thing centuries before it actually happened. This is a prospective that the good Rabbi is overlooking at least from my point of view. This is something that is very important for it foreshadow what was to happen in fulfillment of the very 1st prophecy about Jesus and what role he would play as the seed of the woman that would be bruised in the heel by Satan the devil. For that bruising which proved to be a profound injury but yet it would not be fatal to Jesus in the sense that, Satan the devil could not keep Jesus Christ dead, as a result of the resurrection. this is what Jehovah's witnesses would point out.

    Did he just say there are "no contradictions" in the Jewish scriptures?
    I just lost a mountain load of respect for Singer.
    The rabbi claims that even if there were no contradictions in the Christian New Testament, that wouldn't make it true. I agree. If if there are no contradictions in the Hebrew Bible, that doesn't make it true. How does the rabbi justify as "truth" his own personal beliefs? Has he met Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Isaiah, Jeremiah or Micah?

      Study it yourself to confirm his statement, then -- before you start disrespecting the Rabbi.
      You can check it yourself. Tanakh (the Jewish Bible) does not contradict itself. Indeed.

    Human sacrifice is pagan? Then why did the rabbis and sages of the 1st thousand years of the Common Era believe Isaiah 53 to be messianic? Were they pagan?
    The idea that Isaiah 53 refers to the nation of Israel is a relatively new interpretation that started about 1000 years ago. Before that all the sages and rabbis saw it as meesianic?
    Were they pagan?
