This is the first time I am hearing about the recipe. Definitely I will try this after purchasing cucumber. As per Rakesh remarks it will be tasty and yummy.
Although I live in a Telugu State, never heard or tasted this Telunga pachadi! Just seeing your video and Amma explaining the recipe, it's soooooo inviting! 🙏🏼💐
amma too good like son .. such an involvement and so passionate ..this recipe is too good ...yes its cucumber family .. called .Zuchinni...i am in Canada ...we get this type here exactly like cucumber ... will certainly try this next week as its snowing heavily here can't venture out ...
Myself my wife have been watching your episodes for last 2 months and like your programme very much. We also like the vibes and conversations between you and your mother. Similar to Telenga Pachadi,' we make Sasuve with cucumber mustard tamarind etc. Also we add grou donuts for seasoning. This dish goes very well with Rice and ghee/gingelly oil
Yes this is made in telugu houses. My mother does this in ammi and will be very spicy. It should be had with hot rice and ghee. She adds ( raw) sesame seeds. Surprise to know that it is done in Tanjore. Also what mami said is right the other type of cucumber is not to be seen now. Would like to know the English name and even image of it.
We fry a spoon of thill n two redchillies in oil n grind along wid raw items.all together it gives awesome Aroma.thadka ws not mentioned there in.tks.for reminding us to try after long tym.
We make a variation of this by adding coconut to the grind, and finally curd. For the veggies, we also use white aubergine half boiled with little turmeric.
Hi rakesh.... am from Bangalore. Today I didn't get notification both on what's up and TH-cam. Here ... in our home we add coconut aswell for grinding.. same recipe....
I really like the content of your vidoes. Recipe and conversation. I really admire your mom.more than you. She is so honest and less pretentious thank u😂😂😂. Love her sarees...her style of narrating
Rakesh bro song 👌 selection also good mom also very beautiful presentation nowords to talk homely atmosphere super aga irrugu all'the best and always best for viewer's
Raghu, you can roast the stuff you powdered. For Andhra no kadiggu, vendhyam in our chutney. Then it's not Andhra chutney. You can mix with rice as you mix kuttu.our chutney or pachadi that we call thogiyal..we eat with rice as our first component as it's fresh chutney of day then the yearly stored pickle. All should be eaten with 1 tbsp of ghee. Or mix with plain paruppu sadam then kottu since you won't get the flavour of the pachadi. To blend each flavour we mix separate with cooked rice all our thogiyal and food. Jfyi..awesome show love it.
Interesting raw pachadi recipe! May I know which variety of cucumber was used in this recipe? Showing the type of cucumber used would have been even more helpful! That said, I've grown to love your shows. The reviving, the unearthing of regional specialities are so informative.
In Karnataka it is called " Hasi sasuve gojju" It is served as a side dish, The same masala is used to prepare with " chow chow" veg but it is cooked before adding the masala. It is a known dish in karnataka
