Just got my 1tb OLED :) Haven’t had a hand-held since the psp. Handheld is what I grew up on (DS, gameboy, psp) and man what a feeling going back. Best experience I’ve had with a product in a long time…

The Steam Deck OLED looks great, I’d get the 1 tb model of if I had money. I’ve been interested since the first steam deck was released, but now this makes me want it even more.
Before you buy a 1TB, consider the 512 GB Cyrano. Especially considering it if you plan to update the SSD in the future.
@@digitalmaus thanks, but I don’t plan on upgrading the storage. If I need more I’ll just get a Micro SD card. I’m not tech savvy enough to upgrade it myself😅

My family ordered a Steamdeck Oled like a week or two ago.

Speaking of "Great Companies Listen", let's hope Nintendo decides to take notes from Valve/Steamdeck (especially the Oled ones) for the next-gen Nintendo console.

I just ordered my 1tb oled i regret not getting the limited edition when i could but lets be honest i prefer the clear shell without tint so ill do a swap then and i can paint my screws and screens and such.
Ps I'm also going to carefully remove the velcro and replace with a magnet and metal plate setup with colour accenting fabric Overtop to protect the case

This video was fine, but all the jabs at the ROG Ally and other windows handhelds were unnecessary. Like saying that with steam deck, all you’ll need is the steam, But on windows you “have” to use a whole bunch of different launchers. Why didn’t you also mention then how the steam deck can only play a fraction of games available on PC and is LIMITED to games only on Steam?
Or like the ending was very unnecessary, especially with the fact Asus has been doing a great job supporting their hardware and they’ve even made it easier to give feedback and suggestions. Steam deck is a great handheld that excels at what it wants to do, but that doesn’t mean it’s like some God compared to other handhelds that don’t run Steam OS. The market will not be good if Asus, Lenovo, and other windows handheld manufacturers just constantly wanted to copy and paste everything Valve does
Loving the uneducated saying you can't play non-steam games on a Deck... people must do no research before they buy gadgets.
I researched TONS and had a choice between the ROG and an OLED Deck, I picked the Deck because it did everything I wanted it to do, and the hardware is just that bit more polished as they've had more time to perfect it.

yo why atre you using the joystick too move thats how you get stick drift use the d pad by the way i shock no one know you can use the d-pd on xbox ps and nintendo consoles i use the d-pad too prevent drift

That oled is perfect. I already have the lcd version and love it. Was thinking of getting the oled but the Rog Ally is now 400 bucks , 350 open box. I will go with that instead so I can play some non steam games. Cool video ! Gaming has hit its peak ! Love it

That's a smart move, I was also tempted on buying an OLED, but already have the LCD steam deck with upgraded 1 tb internal, I'm not really that picky with screen colors so I was sure I was going to regret burning that money since the rog ally can be found on discount at around same price so I'm on the fence on getting a rog ally or just wait for a steam deck 2 😂
