My father worked this fields for 40 years for minimum wage and supported my sister my brother and me now he cant lift over 15 pounds

I made $12 an hour as a young teenager. Illegal immigration wasnt as prevalent then. I was just a laborer on a landscaping crew. They are still paying those wages due to illegals. They are able to pay them shit wages, no benefits, and put them in unsafe working conditions. It business owners being greedy and people not being able to comprehend they need to respect other countries borders and laws.

This is an alright job dude. U.S. citizens just feel above it all and aren't willing to break a sweat for their pay check. worked in the fields for a little over a month , back breaking work and I now have more respect for all those individuals breaking their backs to put fresh fruits and vegetables on our tables but let me remind you I did not see any anglo American working out there in 105 degree heat , so much for immigrants taking American jobs.
A farmer In my area has a farm large enough to supply a 4 state area with produce, In July I called for Green Beans the Owner said I don't have a Green Bean on the Place, when I inquired in person, his "workers like you are talking about" Robbed him, took all the produce and was gone.

When I was still in school , my Dad would always take us out to work in the fields. And as I grew older , I continued the work to the point where I would go out on my own ......!!!!!
Temporary worker permits would solve the problem but greedy farmers wanted no enforcement to ensure the temporary part of work visas.

They say "I'm too educated", "I'm too intelligent", "it's dirty", "it's messy", etc. A lot of those employers say about American workers "you're lazy", "you're slow, "you want too much money", "you want too many days off", "you're always late", etc. Foreign workers will work harder, faster and longer in more difficult conditions for the same wage.
Double wages and American workers will do agriculture work.
Import those produce from Mexico. They are priced as good as the the ones we get here. Do you think you'll be paying these undocumented laborer that low forever. Dont be a fool.

Sucks doesn't it? In a perfect world, everyone would be able to have backyard gardens that are "fruitful" while saving them $ at the grocery stores. Location is key from what I've researched in addition to proper layout/design & appropriate selections of preferred planting zones, etc.
Look into vertical farming. Some of those systems use 90% less water and grow the food in half the time and you don't have to worry about bugs/pests.

How do you transform felons into efficient harvesters? Their motivation and productivity isn't there. There is time pressure for many crops. Don't meet the deadlines which even illegals have to work overtime to meet and there are losses. The productivity of felons is a fraction of the illegals.
My family usually have a reunion and bring in the harvest ....well that's what we did before the USDA sent the Marshalls

I have an idea. Why not have these farmers supply busses at the border and request for migrants with work permits. Bus them to their farms, provide housing and food during the harvest, then bus them back to the border when the products have been harvested. They would not be allowed to leave the farms. They are here to work.

Its funny it used to be that migrant workers were brought in on busses. When the work was done they went back to south America and exchanged the U.S. dollars for pesos and th3 money was very good everyone was happy.
