Thank you so so much everybody, I really wanted to react to this to honour them and all of you still living with the pain of it . If you are the welcome and please stick around 💓💓 love gitana 💓💓
I remember it. I was 7 and in 2nd grade of school in South Texas. I remember just getting to school at 8:00 am and shortly after, everyone's parents were checking their children out of school in fear of schools being hit. When I graduated highschool, I joined the US Army. I served 8 years and got out. Now, I'm a FireFighter. Every year, we climb up 110 flights of stairs with a tag for a fallen firefighter. The climb is done is full gear plus SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus). I love your videos! Keep up the amazing work and thank you for reacting to this song.
It will have you in tears. And I can remember where I was that faithly September day I was in Gainesville Tx working as a galvanized pipe welder and just got a medical discharge from the military
I was at work, two days prior I was standing inside Tower one refusing to pay the 14 dollars to go to the top...Said i would go up next week because I was supposed to be back there for a red Sox vs Yankees games..
We will never forget. My cousin was the First Class Flight attendant on AA flight 11 that tried to stop the terrorists from getting into the cockpit. She was a Hero!! We Love you and miss you everyday Barbara Arestiguii, lovingly known as Bobbi. You will never be forgotten for your sacrifice, you will always be our Hero.
I was a police officer on my day off talking with friends on AOL chat when someone said "OMG turn on your tvs right now!!", 2 hours later I was back at the Army recruiters office re-enlisting. I told them to put on the next bird smoking in that direction. September 25th was my 1st day back in the Army since 1991. I did 371 combat missions during Operation Enduring Freedom II in Iraq. I wanted to go straight to Afghanistan, but my orders put me in Baghdad the year we got Sadaam Husein. I want to thank you for doing this song, and don't feel bad. I cried with you :)
I will never forget i was in the south tower when the planes hit and i was buried for 12 hours before i was found. I want to thank all the first responders that found me I will never forget
Oh my gosh! I'm so glad beyond words you are here to tell your story! I'm so sorry for all of the people you lost that day and all the trauma you went through I can not begin to imagine the hurt you all feel pain you all still suffer. 💗
I was and still am an Arkansas Law Enforcement officer on 9/11. I was in total shock & awe at the moment. A very chaotic day, even in Arkansas. I did go home, hugged my wife & child. Spent the night speaking with Jesus
I was a soldier in the UNITED STATES ARMY stationed at Camp Humphreys South Korea. It was roughly midnight in korea, i had a side gig as a DJ in an off post night club, and i remember seeing it on the TV and asking the owner of the bar what happened because naturally i couldn't read nor understand what was beeing said on the tv. She tells me that she thinks 2 planes collided into each other, so me thinking its an accident continue to play music and have a good time, only to realize when i try to get back on base and everything is locked down what really happened. I remember the anger i felt, the fear, the uncertainty, but most of all i remember the pride i felt in putting on that uniform the next morning that said U.S ARMY.
The angel's starue leaning over the firefighter with the angle's hands on the back of the firefighters back giving confort at the end of the song. Priceless. And sums it up.

Thank you for doing this song. I'm a purple heart disabled veteran. I was in my second week of basic training on that day. I was then deployed to the pentagon, Afghanistan and Iraq.I should of never made it home from Iraq but I did. Namaste!
This is a beautiful song, it brought a tear to my eye. I ride with a Motorcycle club that was founded in memory of a Port Authority Police officer that died that day. The last photo taken of him, he was helping firefighters carry an injured woman out of the towers using a door as a stretcher. Shortly after he was rescuing a group of survivors from an elevator shaft. As he got them out the doors, he was struck by falling debris that threw him into a nearby taxi killing him... Long live the memory of Port Authority Police Officer David Lemagne, Badge number 834 and all the other Heroes that selflessly gave their lives that day.... #neverforget

I was getting ready to get on a plane to go to work in the Bering Sea off the coast of Alaska when the first plane hit. I had family that worked in the building's and couldn't get a hold of them. Later I found out they stayed home because they were sick. Every day I thank god for the extra time he gave to me to spend with them. Thank you Gitana for this. I was in kindergarten. I’m now a firefighter. Even though I was young when this happened I remember it and this was one of my drives to be a fireman. I always struggle with this day because so many of my brothers and sisters were killed that day. Also flight 93 went down only a few miles from my house. It’s flight pattern was literally right over my town. Never forget.
Every time I hear this song I cry...... never a dull moment with Alan Jackson, but with me only being 6 years old when this happened, I remember that whole moment, sitting in class at John C. Myers elementary school, a moment of silence was said over the intercom and told every teacher to turn tvs on....... very very heart breaking song and had a major head injury last year and fracturing my skull, I will never forget..... 💘💘💘
Thank you for your kind words..We will never forget..I had just gotten my coffee and it happened..I stood in tears...just stood in silence, with my hand over my mouth in tears!
Thank you David. Your love and prayers mean a lot. Though I personally didn't know anyone who we lost on that day, these losses were felt the world over.

Thanks all. It truly was my great honor to serve in the United States Armed Forces. U.S. Navy to be precise. I appreciate the thanks but they really aren't necessary. America and her people are worth fighting for. 😉 Even those I disagree with. God bless America.
I remember where and what I was doing with all 4 planes. I had 2 years inactive with SCNG. First thing I did was call to see if I was being reactivates. Look how we came together and now.
Alan wrote and performed this song at the country music awards show in just a matter of days after it actually happened...It was amazing to watch him do this song and hold his emotion, because the whole country was on edge...
I was 11 sitting in my English class and our teacher turned the TV on. We all watched as it happened. When I was 18 I joined the army. I served 11 years and deployed twice. This was easily the leading factor for me wanting to fight for our country. Both of my boys have told me that they want to join the military. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
One of the things that I remember from that day was my Grandmother, who was fifteen when Pearl Harbor happened in 1941, and the look on her face when she realized what was happening. That her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren now had to have memories of an attack on their country. This song, even though it has been nineteen years, still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
My parents were about 10 when Pearl Harbor happened. They always remembered in detail about that day. I can do this same thing They knew what the future was going to be because of the attack. My dad ,just like his did when Pearl Harbor happened, never turned off the news.
So sad, we will never forget, I was in a classroom with 3 to 5 yr olds. So we had to hide our emotions from the children, we had to leave it up to the parents, to know how to explain to children that young , why everyone is so sad😢😢.❤❤❤
I was in 7th Grade. Technology Education class. We were listening to the Rock Station, and in the middle of the song the music cut off and the DJ told the listeners that a plane hit the World Trade Center in NYC. We raised our hands, got our teachers attention, and relayed the news to him. He thought we were lying to him, but he humored us and turned the TV in the classroom on anyways. And the image on the TV will forever be burned into my memory. In fact......14 years later, at 27, I joined the United States Navy. I am now 2 months from separation from the Navy after finishing my contract. Had 9/11 Never happened, I never enlist. Thank you for reacting to this song, Miss. It is important that we never forget.
Some things you cant forget I am a veteran. I was at Halifax hospital in Florida, working in the ER...What a sad day. God bless all those who tried to rescue the injured.
I was in high school, 10th grade. Algebra class with Mr. Stancil. Another teacher knocked on the door and whispered something to Stancil. He told us something was happening in New York but they weren't sure what and he turned on the TV, this was right after the first plane hit. My entire class, I assume most of the school watched live as the rest of the events occured that day.... we watched as the second plane hit and we knew our country was under attack..... we watched as those towers collapsed one by one, and we knew there were still thousands of people in them. We watched as the reports came in of the plane hitting the Pentagon. We watched as reports of a fourth plane came in that crashed in a field, who's brave passengers managed to storm the cockpit and force the plane down before they could hit their intended target - The White House. All we knew is that whomever was responsible was going to pay dearly in the coming days, weeks and years. Tens of thousands of young people signed up for military service right after this to make them pay, and they have.
Once I heard the pentagon was attacked I was waiting to hear the president had ordered a nuclear strike. I still think we should have launched a tactical nuclear strike. Even if innocents would have died the world needed to be shown that if you attack the United States we will retaliate with overwhelming and overpowering force. No country can stand up to our military if the rules are thrown out and the full might of the US military is brought to bare.
I remember EXACTLY where I was, I was a senior in high school, I had went to the restroom and when I walked through the halls the teachers were all watching a TV in the hall and I watched the second plane hit, and the line where he says did you call your Mom and tell her you love her, I did, right then, I was 18! It still hurts my heart to this day!
My best friend called me to tell me. I was sleeping and we didn't have tv so we listened to the radio. My whole family sat around the radio. We watched jets escort a plane to SeaTac airport. It was one of the craziest days of my life and considering the hell our country has gone through over the last few years that's saying something.
I was installing a water meter service on that horrible day. It’s burnt into my head. I love this song, thank you. People are still dying from the dust.
I was at work when my boss came in to tell me. The look on his face was just shock. I'm not sure if someone already told you but Alan wrote this right after 9/11 & was supposed to perform another song days later on the Country Music Awards but got the go ahead to sing this song instead. My fav line is Faith, Hope & Love are some great things he gave us & the greatest is LOVE!
I was in my second week of my teaching career. Talk about the moment when you realize teaching isn't about cute lessons and pretty classrooms. It's about protecting the children in your care. We had no idea what was happening or what was going to happen. I live on the opposite side of New York State. Looking back, I grew up in that moment.
I was teaching at a Military School and we had four Saudi military students in the class with 22 mixed service US troops. I put it up on the projection screen of the classroom. It was a tough seen but everybody maintained their professionalism and we protected our Saudi students while we checked for orders and deployment instructions. To this day I am still friends with the Saudi students who have fought with us against insurgence in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am grateful that I had my military brethren with me that morning.
I was stationed on the USS Theodore Roosevelt, suppose to deploy on the 17th of September. I was home on leave, heard it on the radio, called the ship and they said "get back now". The ship deployed so fast that we didn't know all the details until we were launching aircraft off the coast of Afghanistan. The famous 9/11 flag that the firefighters were pictured with was flown out to the ship and we flew it from the mast for the rest of the deployment. As we were coming back home, those firefighters were flown out the ship and in a ceremony, we gave the flag back to them. I wasn't at ground zero, but that deployment was hard...i want to forget, but cannot.
Thank you for this reaction! I love it so much! I was in 4th grade in school in upstate New York. There were a bunch of teachers in the hall where they were told. They ran in and turned on the news and were visibly shaken. At the time only one tower was hit and they thought it was just a horrible tragedy. Then we saw the second plane hit. The teachers dropped to the floor cuz they realized the whole thing was no accident if the same thing happened to the neighboring building not 15 minutes later. They kept the news rolling but some teachers were directed to keep us from seeing it and distract us. The lessons stopped the rest of the day. We were directed into the auditorium for moments of silence and prayer. They talked about sending us home for the day but they had orders to keep us where we were at. At the end of the day when I got home I was in a fog still thinking it was a bad accident. My mom sat me down and told me it wasn’t an accident and made it very real. My mom was not one to censor anything happening in the world and I’m grateful for that. She taught me tremendous compassion on that day. I remember the fear that day and the days following not knowing if there were going to be more attacks or where the attacks were going to be. I remember people talking and crying that they were going after skyscrapers. We had just learned about skyscrapers in school and there were a lot of them throughout the USA. Every year since I remember every detail of that day. I learn more and more about that day each year, there was just too much for me to take in in one single day. Now I have a playlist for 9/11. Survivor stories, the news castings, hero stories, the phone calls from planes; those trapped; the airlines; the heros that called home. I taught my daughter about it this year. Every year prior she always asked me and my husband why mommy is always crying today and I taught her what my mom taught me. I don’t want the nation to forget that day. If they forget- then the lives lost will lose their meaning I feel like. I didn’t lose anybody, but there were people who did and I want them to know- I saw it, I felt it, I remember with them. I pray for them and I love them.
The song is very moving and it takes you back to what you were doing at the time and your right I honestly think we all remember what we were doing. Thanks for honoring it that means a lot to me. God bless
Finally an Alan Jackson song. Living on Love and, Small Town Southern Man. They are some of my favorites. God Bless the Families affected by this tragedy. I think it scarred all of us a bit that day. May those who died be at peace. May the Hero's never be forgotten.
I was working on a construction site and called and wished my wife happy Birthday as it was hers that day. The job foreman stopped everything and we listened to the radio. It's not a day that I can easily forget. A few yrs later I went back in the service and went to Iraq.
I'll never forget this horrible day! So many mixed emotions in the days that followed, I have tears in my eyes just listening to it now! The best version was the day it debuted live on the CMA's - you could have heard a pin drop in that room! Just Alan on the stage with a guitar & a black backdrop! Please stop bye & say hello if you have time! In the meantime I have to wipe these tears away, thanks Gitana for this song on this day - means a lot!
@@william_banta_81 That song has a different slant to it! That one is for the ones that went out and bought a gun. Alan Jackson's song is for those who turned on "I Love Lucy" reruns!
I appreciate you doing this song so much... I was in middle school when this happened but was definitely a big reason in why I joined the marine corps and did 2 deployments to Afghanistan
i was 29,i was off that day and my phone rang and it my sister saying turn on the tv. I was like what channel? She said any channel. I saw it,hung up the phone, sat down and just watched all day. Went through every emotion you could go through. And as the day went on,I knew nothing was ever going to be the same again.
I remember where I was,I was at home asleep when my friend came over and woke me up and told me to turn on the news,at first I didn't want to beleive it that this happened,it took me a few mins to accept what had happened,I felt pride, fear and anger all at once,I will never forget what happened and I will certainly not forget the people and the heros who went running to save others...thank you to who all that serve regardless if you are military, police fire or medical,I thank you for what you all do.....God bless us all.
I was 31, living in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA. I was working as a Network Administrator. As soon as it came on the news, we severed all external connections, ran an emergency backup, turned off the phones, brought up all the news feeds on the various large screens and went outside Colorado Springs has NORAD, USAF Academy, FT Carson and some other places. We went to look for incoming nuclear missles
Thank you for the reaction. It’s comforting to see our friends from other countries that can feel some level of the pain we felt that day. About all Alan Jackson’s songs are good. Over 30 #1 hits. I would recommend “Drive” or” Remember When” or “Little Bitty”
I remember exactly where I was. I was home doing laundry... I immediately went and picked up my two boys from grade school... it was such a sad and scary day. I'll remember it forever....
Hi, I live in the United States of America, I was just getting off of work, the morning of Sept. 11th, 2001. I heard about the attacks on the radio, on my way home. Thank you, for playing Alan Jackson's where were you on that September day? God Bless.
I was on my way to work. I live in Texas. Once I got to work, we set up a TV and watched in horror...as an American, this day is etched in my soul. I cried continuously for a week. Thank you so much for reacting to this song. I love my Country so much. September 11, 2001 is a day i will never forget
I don't what to say. That day I will never forget where I was and what I wanted to do to help. And for your reaction. From a place that did not happen. Is so respectful. I can't say thank you enough. ✌🙏
I WILL NEVER FORGET🙏 I had just graduated that June; 8 months pregnant, I was a brand new mother on September 11th to a two month old baby boy. I did not put my baby down that whole day, he stayed in my arms and I prayed! I prayed for all the mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters who were all strangers but felt a deep connection to😢❤ I looked at the world and my son and I knew that it was going to be a different place! My Husband called into work that day, we sat with our baby watching and praying! I will never forget!!

They knew what the future was going to be because of the attack.
Alan Jackson just made this even better
Thank you for this
Myself, little brother and 2 nephews were serving in the Marine's when this happened. I still tear up when I hear it. I love you ❤
I was in high school, 10th grade.
I'll never forget where I was and I'll never forget this day for the rest of my life.
I was in my car, I had just dropped my boys off at school. We all thought it was a prank. But when I got to work...saw that it wasnt...changed the USA
I really appreciate your reaction to this song Another wonderful Alan Jackson song is She's Got the Rhythm and I've Got the Blues.
When he did this song for the first time it was at the CMA awards later that year, not a dry eye in the house and a standing ovation.
People are still dying from the dust.
alans best songs...drive.....gone country
Alan’s song will live on forever. It’s perfect.
Great song great singer my favorite
I was at work when my boss came in to tell me. The look on his face was just shock. I'm not sure if someone already told you but Alan wrote this right after 9/11 & was supposed to perform another song days later on the Country Music Awards but got the go ahead to sing this song instead. My fav line is Faith, Hope & Love are some great things he gave us & the greatest is LOVE!
YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON
I was in my second week of my teaching career. Talk about the moment when you realize teaching isn't about cute lessons and pretty classrooms. It's about protecting the children in your care. We had no idea what was happening or what was going to happen. I live on the opposite side of New York State. Looking back, I grew up in that moment.
I cry every time I hear this song.
I’m sending you love ! Thank you for sharing that 💓
What school? I was at DLI on 9/11

WE CAN NEVER FORGET...
Thank you for your service and for helping keep us safe back here at home.
Thank you for giving this song proper respect.
I think in a different context we all lost someone that day .. not a one more of a something: security, peace, safety.
God Bless America
The song is very moving and it takes you back to what you were doing at the time and your right I honestly think we all remember what we were doing. Thanks for honoring it that means a lot to me. God bless

I was working on a construction site and called and wished my wife happy Birthday as it was hers that day. The job foreman stopped everything and we listened to the radio. It's not a day that I can easily forget. A few yrs later I went back in the service and went to
Iraq.

GREAT Response to this tune. Yes it Still Hurts Very Bad,That hit US in the Heart....
You all mean so much to me . Sending love 💓
@@dougmore526 Thanks! This song always chokes me up on September 11th! Now I need to listen to Toby Keith Courtesy of The Red, White, & Blue
@@william_banta_81 That song has a different slant to it! That one is for the ones that went out and bought a gun. Alan Jackson's song is for those who turned on "I Love Lucy" reruns!

I remember exactly what I was doing. I will always remember. Everytime I hear this song I feel the pain off that day .
I appreciate you doing this song so much... I was in middle school when this happened but was definitely a big reason in why I joined the marine corps and did 2 deployments to Afghanistan
Thank you for your service.
It will blow your mind !!!
i was 29,i was off that day and my phone rang and it my sister saying turn on the tv. I was like what channel? She said any channel. I saw it,hung up the phone, sat down and just watched all day. Went through every emotion you could go through. And as the day went on,I knew nothing was ever going to be the same again.
Wow, God bless America 🇺🇸
Thank you so much. You are a great person
As soon as it came on the news, we severed all external connections, ran an emergency backup, turned off the phones, brought up all the news feeds on the various large screens and went outside
Colorado Springs has NORAD, USAF Academy, FT Carson and some other places. We went to look for incoming nuclear missles
I still cry.
Thank you for the reaction. It’s comforting to see our friends from other countries that can feel some level of the pain we felt that day.
About all Alan Jackson’s songs are good. Over 30 #1 hits. I would recommend “Drive” or” Remember When” or “Little Bitty”
Home with my wife and 2 year old baby girl. Never would I forget
Tomorrow, 22 years later I remember it as clearly as I am typing this.

Same here....on my way to work here in TX.
That is a Day none of us ever will forget my friend.
I don't what to say. That day I will never forget where I was and what I wanted to do to help. And for your reaction. From a place that did not happen. Is so respectful. I can't say thank you enough. ✌🙏
I WILL NEVER FORGET🙏
I had just graduated that June; 8 months pregnant, I was a brand new mother on September 11th to a two month old baby boy.
We will be humble to to all of the lives lost that terrible day !!!
