  • In this not necessarily latest video from the 4R NW workshop I attempt to upgrade my cute little table on my 14" bandsaw to a larger more rigid work surface! Heck! I don't even use click bait featuring a 3/4less clothed thumbnail pictures of my wife to get your attention because I'm not gross and actually value the attention of a higher caliber human being, not the type that clicks on videos with a cover pic the likes of the a fore mentioned which 101% of the time is a let down! your'e welcome! Thank you for watching!

Just wondering why you replaced the HF band saw with the Grizzly since the HF was very similar, although I just noticed the 6" riser bock!!!??? Looks like you upgraded most of your power tools!!! Good for you! Thanks for the enjoyable video!

Daniel Edewaard great question Daniel! Honestly the Grizzly was a craigslist find with roller base AND the riser block already on....for $180!😂 it was such a crazy deal I didn’t really have a choice! The power of Christ compelled me know what I’m sayin!😉 at the time I had a smaller shop and no space for 2 saws. Now I have a shop 3 times bigger and I wish I’d kept it🙄 have multiple machines set up for different tasks is awesome! If you have the space. But yes, most my equipment has been “upgraded” depending on your perspective. Mine is larger capacity more power. Not really necessary for most small projects BUT I get order that do require the need for both amenities. For most my previous set up was plenty. Thank you for watching!

Came for the band saw table build. Subscribed for the personality. I don’t own 80% of the things you used to build this, but it was entertaining and educational. Thanks!

Good to see someone with a can-do attitude AND a sense of humor. Probably won't be doing everything he does but what the heck. I subscribed anyway.

Haha. Just perusing TH-cam videos because of my need for band saw table extensions and stumbled across your build here. I must say: I have not been this entertained by a video for quite some time. Keep it up. I'm subscribed! Additionally, yours gave me some excellent ideas although my space is a bit different than yours, so...modifications. Nice job and yes, the Power of Christ does compel us to all that is good!!!

Only $100 last month? Ok I'll subscribe to help you out for only 2 reasons. You have good content and you told your wife to shut up. Keep up the good work.

You should def make this into a kit and sell it. I would buy one.

    • @4rnorthwest

Well thank you very much I appreciate that! I hope you found the video helpful. If I have the time someday I may refine it into a universal kit to mount on most 14” bandsaws, likely geared toward Grizzly and less expensive brands as more expensive units like to use proprietary designs. Thank you so much for watching and have a great new year!
