Real music before Auto-Tune. Real music by real musicians. What they play is what you get that's why old rock & roll will never get old it's time less.
The reason why you feel funny when listening to led zeppelin and bands like that is because your natural senses kick in to listening to awesome music and your soul is craving for it welcome to real music great reaction pal
Lucky!! First live music I saw was Stanley Clarke and Chick Corea at Alexandra Palace Jazz Festival (my favourite bunking off school place) and on the other stage.... CHUCK BERRY!!! Whoohoooo!!!
This concert, MSG 1973, is one of the great live shows ever recorded. "The Song Remains the Same" is a movie made around this concert and is 💯 worth a watch.
Wow... I can't even imagine a chance to listen to "Staiway" again for the first time. Wow, you don't know what an amazing gift/treat you have coming..... 😎🎸 ( Enjoy )
Trust us Jimmy is the greatest guitarist ever. He never loses the underlying melody in his solos as other guitarists do and his ability to get the guitar to sing emotionally is something to behold. No argument they are the GOATS.
Jimmy always referred to the guitar as "she" and gives it the tender consideration of a lover, that's why it sings for him - until things get steamy in the solo!
Robert Plant is still singing! I saw him in June 2023, in concert with Alison Krauss, at a wonderful outdoor venue in Taos, New Mexico. It was the 4th time I've seen him, and he still has it! Led Zeppelin in 1974, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant in 1994, Robert Plant solo in 2009, and then 2023. He still has that effect on the ladies!
Best drummer in the world, and on their most famous song he doesn't come in until halfway through. :) This is probably just about the most listened to song of all time. If you were going to make a time capsule of the 1970s, this song would be the first thing to go into it. Prog metal at its best. Double-neck guitars mean you can have a 12-string and a 6-string (like Jimmy Page is using here), or a 6-string and a bass, or two different tunings. As someone who loves alternative tunings but drives a 12-string (which takes forever to re-tune), one of those would be very useful!
I saw them in concert when this first came out. Hard to believe now that it was some 50 odd years ago. They played for 3 and a half hours including 3 encores. There are not enough words to describe how amazing it was. To this day, this amazing song still comes in at #1 of all time best rock songs.
I know I'm late to the party, but wanted you to know I was here, and until the end too. As for Led Zeppelin, the greatest band ever, I very highly recommend doing yourself the favor of starting from the beginning! 💖☮️💕
That's a double neck guitar being played by the Master Jimmy Page, who also wrote the music for Led Zeppelin and other bands. Jimmy is the One, the Legend, the Master of the guitar 🎸
🌸 Robert plant is the lead singer Jimmy Page the guitarist Jon bohnam is the drummer John Paul Jones is the bassist. you have just experienced a masterpiece, my friend
There are several 2-necked guitars, some are regular guitars that you have in different tunings, but in this case, the Top is a 12-string, has a higher pitch, and the bottom is his standard tuning for this particular song.
That’s a “double neck” Gibson brand, SG model guitar. The bottom neck is a standard 6 string guitar, the top neck is a 12 string guitar. The 12 string uses a 6 string set of strings just like the 6 string neck does. It also has a lighter set of 6 strings that are tuned one octave higher. So you have an E string, with another E real close to it, just tuned higher. This holds true as you go down the neck. So the pattern is Ee, Aa, Dd, Gg, Bb, Ee. The reason for this is simple. It creates a fuller sound by having the same notes played at the same time, but in two separate octaves. It “thickens” the sound. Not all double necks are 12 and 6 layout. I’ve seen 4 string bass and 6 string guitar. Also a double 6 string, but one neck was normal and the other was a tenor. Seems I remember a 6 string guitar and 5 string banjo together in one on the Hee Haw tv show back in the 70’s, but that’s been a day or two ago.
told you to watch Zep in the last video I watch. You beat me to it. Excellent. "whole lotta love" is a classic. I love "dazed and confused" So many good tracks. You prob did those already too. I will check. Thanks for your interest in old folks music. So great to see the tracks we love enjoyed you by you as well. Cool.
'my mom's calling me I have to go ' 😂 I love this!!❤! Totally the vibe from back in the day listening to LZ in your room on the steroe then all of a sudden the mom or dad are calling ya outta the room 😂 ...omg so perfect of an ending to the reaction ❤
Back when music was real music and not all this synthetic crap. Much more organic sound. I miss these days all around, although I'm probably remembering an idealized version of it. I just remember rocking out with Led Zeppelin, in particular, all the time, and not being able to get enough of them. I don't remember even one bad song. Everything they did was so special.
Just subbed. Looking forward to your reactions to more Led Zepplin. In my opinion Tthe Lemon Song is heir best song . Also try the early videos such as Bring it on Home or Babe I'm Going to Leave You.
They are rock gods...check out Heart honoring them at Kennedy honors... Robert was in tears and john that passed his son was playing his dads drums with iconic hat❤

This song was one of the most played tunes on American radio for over a decade and, for many, it is probably the defining song of British rock. That has lead it to be lambasted, in the wake of new styles. But in its context it is still very moving. One of the central difficulties in music criticism is not recognising what matters to people in different times.
As a huge Zeppelin fan, I can see you appreciate great vocals...Listen to "im just a man live" or "matador" by Faith no more...Greatest vocalist of all time, death metal to R&B, opera to Italian pop song covers
Listen to the album version… this is a great version, but the experience is deeper and cleaner I think. And then, fetch the homage version Heart did at the Lincoln center. You’ll melt.
You did the studio of Since I’ve Been Loving You, you need to do the live at Madison Square Gardens (1973). Try live at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying, that date is the best version, Jimmy Pages guitar playing is killer. Live at Knebworth (1979) Kashmir, is the song the band is most proud of. Live version of Dazed & Confused at either, Royal Albert Hall (1970), or Madison Square Garden (1973). Sadly you can’t get the 30 minute version, which is mind blowing. To build your channel, do Led Zeppelin reactions on a more regular bases, we are diehard fans. Thank you for your reaction.
@@KellyDaye I hate to say it but when it comes to Zeppelin and only them, the covers I've heard are better.. especially Prince's cover of whole Lotta Love.. it damn near melted my face off.. and not the Las Vegas version either but the indigo nights version..
You had forgotten the group yes, where the late great bassist used a three neck guitar… Chris Squire. So many groups were great back then. Oh! Then of course there is Jethro Tull. His band is still going strong cutting albums and touring. He’ll be touring here in Italy in November and also going until next year. The Italians love them. I am not Italian I am Irish and for me, it is like listening to a bard transported into rock ‘n’ roll.
Jimmy Page was playing either the 12-string or the 6-string guitar. John Paul Jones was playing both a synthesizer with his hands and bass pedals with his feet.
I love seeing younger people react to LZ. They're amazing! It was a little before my time, but I was lucky enough to grow up w 5 siblings (4 of which were at least 9 yrs older than me), so the variety of music I was exposed to was pretty crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I feel for anyone who gets stuck on one genre or one decade when there is so much out there to experience. I love your reactions, and if you haven't checked out "When the Levee Breaks" by LZ, I highly recommend it!

This is universally known as the greatest song of all time
Amongst the true lovers of LZ,most people consider Kashmir the better song, Stairway wins the polls but it ain't the best.
Rock songs. Not songs
Led Zeppelin were the first band I ever saw live in 1971 - it's great to see you discover the greatest rock band ever.

You react the way you do to Led Zeppelin because they didn't just play music or sing a song - they take you on an emotional journey.

Not a dry set of drawers in the house after the show, the way Plant and Page OWN the stage. Ladies too. 😂😂😂
Stairway To Heaven... The most requested song for decades.

Yes, I say the same thing for the same amount of time……, but then, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Cream, The Doors………
The Mighty Zep! Enjoy!
Subbed for getting the Led out!
Put your seatbelt on! Please also check out the studio version…it is spectacular too!
LEGENDS!!!
Thanks, do a reaction to Led Zepplin "Dazed and Confused" live Jimmy plays the guitar like a violin you have to see it to believe it.
Listen to Kashmir by Led Zepplin if you want to really want your head scrambled 💗💗💗💗💗💗
John Bonham with those heavy hands is epic thunder. All this was during the transition from The Beatles to 80's synth, epic.
U have to watch Hearts Tribute to them-Plant has tears-it is FANTASTIC!!
The double neck guitar has one with 6 strings and one with 12 - more from the GOATS!
It doesn't get much better than the great songs of the 70s and 80s!!!
Jimmy Page is the greatest guitar player in history. No one creates emotions on the guitar the way he does.
This song is hypnotic. 😎
Please forgive me, but you are so freaking handsome. ❤
